  • the resilient unit can be unwound from the roll, allowing it to return to an uncompressed state, and then cut to length as required for e.g. a mattress, a seat base or other pad or panel.

Claims (5)

  1. Procédé de compression d'une unité élastique (18) comprenant une pluralité d'éléments élastiques (12) placés dans une ou plusieurs poches formées entre des couches (14) de matériau, le procédé comprenant l'application d'une tension sur le matériau de manière à provoquer la compression des éléments élastiques et à enrouler le matériau sous tension en un rouleau.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel le procédé comprend l'enroulement du matériau en utilisant un rouleau d'enroulement (24).
  3. Procédé selon la revendication 2, dans lequel le procédé comprend l'application d'une tension sur l'unité élastique en entraînant l'unité élastique entre le rouleau d'enroulement et des moyens de tension.
  4. Procédé selon la revendication 2 ou 3, dans lequel le procédé comporte l'entraînement de l'unité élastique entre le rouleau d'enroulement et un ou plusieurs rouleaux de tension (20, 22).
  5. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 2 à 4, dans lequel le procédé comprend l'autorisation de rotation ou la mise en rotation des rouleaux à différentes vitesses afin de provoquer l'application d'une tension sur le matériau de l'unité entre le rouleau d'enroulement et le ou chaque rouleau de tension.
