Abstract

The invention relates to a water slide to be used in public entertainment parks like aqua parks that comprises a spherical formed body (10), entrance and exit parts (20, 30) that are same as one another, reversibly mounted to the spherical body (10), a movement axis (1) that is formed by the sliding movement along the entrance part (20)-body (10)-exit part (30) of a person who enters into the inlet (21) of said entrance part (20), and provides instantaneous letdown and instantaneous acceleration along with the oscillation movement.

DESCRIPTION
A SLIDE PROVIDING INSTANTANEOUS LETDOWN AND ACCELERATION TOGETHER WITH OSCILLATION
Technical Field The invention, relates to water slides that are used in all public entertainment parks like aqua park facilities .
The invention is particularly a byproduct that starts like a common slide and gives the impression of falling down by providing an instantaneous letdown, and changes way by providing upwards climb in its spherical geometry, and later on gives the impression of falling down again through an instantaneous letdown and connects the ones, who are sliding, from slide part exit to the normal slide section.
Background Art
Nowadays, it is common to see various types of slide configurations in entertainment premises where there are swimming and fun pool, and which are called "aqua park". Among those said slide configurations, the ones with the simplest configurations are the slides that provide slide on a straight line and for a shorter distance. These said simple configurations have been improved in time and the development of the slides on which more than one person can slide and have greater fun while sliding. The distance to be covered by slides is being extended. Slide paths of the ones that slide through different water flows may change during sliding.
In conventional slide configurations, sliding path is changed so as to increase sliding joy, at the furthest. Sliding providing sliding in different paths has been started to be manufactured. Another way to achieve this is the intervention to the path of sliding by water sprays, which are in the same or opposite direction of the flow and that are in the paths that opposite/not-opposite to the sliding in the slide.
Among the present configurations, there are the configurations that increase said entertainment feel, intervenes sliding path and effect the way of sliding substantially by the form of the slide. It is possible to give examples of the present configurations from the literature.
One of these is the patent with the publication number WO2009050680. Said invention provide whole circular rotation movements and spiral slide through the spiral path inside the slide that is in the form of a protrusion. The outer form of the slide is built on a planar axis. Accordingly, the form of the slide is cylindrical, yet flat.
Another one of these is the patent "reducing radius slide" with the publication number US7713134. Said invention does have an entrance and an exit part. The angle between the entrance and exit parts has been reduced, so that it has a conical (cone shaped) shape. Yet, it is built on a planar axis. Accordingly, the form of the slide is conical, yet flat.
Another one of these is the patent "water slide" with the publication number WO201 1057395A1. Said invention relates to a slide that provides sliding through a circular rotation in a hemisphere structure. Another one of these is the patent "Track" with the publication number GB1451768. Said invention relates a sliding track with the top part narrow and lower part wide, and that is built on the external face of a conical structure and provides spiral path slide.
As it can be seen in the present configurations, the form of the slide is on planar axis and when it is desired to provide some sliding curve, these curve or rotation movements are provided thanks to integral configurations on either the inner form or outer form of the slide.
Yet, it is not the case to see configurations that changes - without the need for any outer or inner integral (extra add-on) structure - the form of the slide initially giving the impression of falling down, and alters the path by making the ones climb upwards, and leads to the exit.
Consequently, said disadvantages in the present configurations have made it necessary to make developments in the relevant technical field. Brief Description of the Invention
Based upon the state of the art, the present invention introduces a slide configuration that both changes the way in a straight path and provides oscillating by bringing a new sight to the current water slides used in the market.
One of the objects of the invention is a water slide designed to increase sliding joy by providing changing paths at any slide depending on the weight of the persons and amount of water, and giving the sliders the impression of falling down at the beginning thanks to the fact that it provides paths that may both give the impression of falling down and provide oscillation.
One of the objects of the invention is that the sliders gain the pleasure of sliding by moving at a maximum speed by giving an impression of falling down thanks to the entrance slide located before the spherical formed slide. Another object of the invention is to provide the continuation of the instantaneous path change that starts at the beginning by doing forward and backward oscillating movements after entering the spherical formed slide. As the direction of the rider is both forward and backward according to the sliding way in the meantime, the movements will provide instantaneous acceleration alterations and increase joy factor.
The feature that distinguishes this slide from the likes is that since the entrance and exit parts are the same and used inversely, a continuous flow is provided without the need for directing the sliders to the outlet or letting the slide stop.
The feature that distinguishes this slide from the likes is that since the entrance and exit parts are the same and used inversely, two functions are obtained in the entries or exits to/from the body with just one geometry. This reduces the investment budget for the slide in total. Another object of the invention is that it creates a dark environnnent as the top of it is closed and it provides placing various lighting effects in this corresponding area in one embodiment of the spherical formed slide.
Another object of the invention is that the external appearance is rather suitable for thematizing due to the form of the spherical formed slide.
Another object of the invention is to provide wetting the edge parts of the slide's surface thanks to the spray system that grants water flow.
In order to achieve the above mentioned objects; the invention is the spherical formed slide that provides sliders to move in instantaneous changes and on multiple paths where the horizontal path curve is added to the expected tangential and axial velocity components, whereby it provides right and left oscillation on the y-axis, and forward and curvilinear backward movements, which are path originated, on x-axis.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, said sphere form is available to open in addition to its geometry that protects and prevents the sliders from moving out.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, it is possible to change the angle between the entrance and exit axes thanks to the 30 degree sectored sphere parts. By means of this, it is possible to provide geometrical flexibility for the whole structure while designing the slide. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, combinations can be provided with the spherical formed slide by connecting one another or to the standard slide sections.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, sliding part of said entrance slide is structured on the slide configuration beginning from a high point. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, said entrance and exit part are formed the way that same parts are rotated 180 degrees on y-axis.
All the structural and characteristics features and all the advantages of the invention will be more clearly understood from the following figures and detailed description for referring to these figure and for this reason, it is necessary that the evaluation be done by taking these figures and detailed description into account.

Detailed Description of the Invention
The invention is a water slide that is used in public entertainment parks like aqua parks.
Figure 1 shows the general side view of the invention. According to the Figure, the invention comprises a spherical formed body (10), and entrance and exit parts (20, 30) that are connected to this body (10). Said parts (20, 30) are similar to each other and mounted on the body (10) in reverse symmetrical form.
As it is seen on Figure 1 , said body (10) preferably comprises section (1 1 ) that are formed by 30 degrees angles. The entrance part (20) comprises an inlet (21 ), concave portion (22) and convex portion (23). On the other hand, the exit part (30) comprises an inlet (31 ) and concave portion (32).
In Figure 1 again, it is possible to see a movement axis (1 ). This axis (1 ) is the one formed by the sliding movement along the entrance part (20)-body (10)-exit part (30) of a person who enters into the inlet (21 ) of the entrance part (20). The person who slides along this axis (1 ) first slows down on the mound formed concave portion (22), after that he/she goes through an instantaneous letdown like falling on the hollow shaped convex portion (23), and instantaneously accelerates (Figure 2).
Later on, it provides falling down on the basement (12) of said body (10) and then circular movement thanks to the basement turning part (13) of the body (10). Following this movement, it provides first slowing down in the mound formed concave portion (30) of the exit part (32), and then a movement like falling-down, later on it provides exiting from the inlet part (3 ) of the exit part (30).
The slider who slides from the slide on the movement axis (1 ) seen in Figure 2 moves in instantaneous changes and on multiple paths where the horizontal path curve is added to the expected tangential and axial velocity components, whereby it provides right and left oscillation on the y-axis, and forward and curvilinear backward movements, which are path originated, on x-axis.
In Figure 3, a reverse exit to the entrance direction is provided on the water slide according to the invention.

Claims

1. A water slide that is to be used in any public entertainment park like aqua park facilities, characterized in that it comprises;
- a spherical formed body (10),
- entrance and exit parts (20, 30) that are same as one another, reversibly mounted to the spherical body (10),
- a movement axis (1) that is formed by the sliding movement along the entrance part (20)-body (10)-exit part (30) of a person who enters into the inlet (21) of said entrance part (20), and along said axis (1);
- said water slide first provides slowing down movement on the mound formed concave portion (22), after that an instantaneous letdown like falling on the hollow shaped convex portion (23), and gives instantaneous acceleration and oscillation movement,
- later on, said water slide provides falling down movement on the basement (12) of said body (10) and then circular movement thanks to the basement turning part (13) of the body (10),
- after that said water slide provides first slowing down, and then a movement like falling down on the exit part (30) of the mound formed concave portion (32),
- said water slide finally provides exit from the inlet (31) of the exit part (30).
2. A body (10) according to Claim 1 , characterized in that it comprises sections (1 1) that are formed in 30-degree angles.
