Abstract

The subject of the invention is multifunctional modular hydraulic valve block assembly destined to control hydraulic systems primarily in rugged conditions of underground mines. According to the invention the characteristic feature of the multifunctional modular hydraulic valve block assembly consisting of a body with pressure channels (7) is that the modules of the valve block (1) are combined into separable hydraulic valve blocks (2) by means of pins (6), with functions like supplying of an advancing ram module (3) or additional functions module (4) and a sealing end module (5).

Description

  • The subject of the invention is multifunctional modular hydraulic valve block gang destined to control hydraulic systems primarily in rugged conditions of underground mines.
  • The Polish patent description PL 205734 portrays single valve block primarily for mine supports which finds its application particularly in hydraulic systems supplying the supports working in underground mines. The solenoid valve consists of a body with mounting slots for pressure and yield fittings favourably located coaxially on both opposites sides of the body respectively and of the mounting receiver slot against which the best favourably solution are four symmetrically located assembly slots. In the assembly slots of the valve there is control elements unit. The unit consists of check valve body with at least one overflow orifice connecting the sliding space between the head of the check valve piston with the space of the receiver slot located the best in the side of the body in the axial plane of the yield fittings and with the space of the mounting slots of the yield fittings as well as with favourably located slots in the side surface of the plane, control indirect sleeve made favourably with a channel on the side equipped with the best angled supplying slots and control sealing sleeve with sliding plunger favourably equipped with crosswise slots and lengthwise orifice.
  • The basic aim of the invention is constructing multifunctional modular hydraulic valve block gang enabling to exchange only separate modules of the block. According to the invention the characteristic feature of the multifunctional modular hydraulic valve block gang consisting of a body with mounting slots for pressure and yield fittings is that the modules of the valve block are assembled into a separable hydraulic valve block with functions like supplying of the advancing ram module or additional functions module and the sealing module. The advantageous feature of the invention is that the adjacent modules are combined together with pins and the slots delivering the working medium of two adjacent modules have sealing sleeves with sealing rings assembled one per each sealing sleeve in every valve block.
  • The advantageous feature of the invention is that o-rings are used as the sealing rings.
  • The advantageous feature of the invention is that hydraulic valve block has fourteen functions.
  • There is also another type of the hydraulic valve block which has twenty functions.
  • The basic advantage of the solution is adding in conformity with the invention, a new feature of functionality, division into function modules that enable expansion of the element with a requested module amount to fulfil needs of the client.
  • The solution facilitates the service of a particular module especially in rugged conditions of an underground mine. Furthermore, the machining process of the module is much more simple along with increasing its manufacturing precision.
  • The subject of the invention is presented as an exemplary model in the following:

  • The following example of the valve block production does not limit its application possibilities.
  • The example of the valve block production
  • The multifunctional modular hydraulic valve block gang consisting of a body with mounting slots for pressure and yield fittings is composed of valve block modules 1 combined together into a fourteen functional block 2 divided into advancing ram supplying module 3 additional functions module 4 and a sealing module 5. The adjacent modules 1 combined together with pins 6 and the slots 7 delivering the working medium of two adjacent modules have sealing sleeves 8 with o-ring sealing rings 9 assembled one per each sealing sleeve 8 in every valve block 1. The multifunctional valve block may be freely expanded depending on needs of the client and the service may be conducted separately for every module.
  • There is also another type of the multifunctional modular hydraulic valve block gang which has twenty functions.
  • Delivering pressure to the main block we are capable to control particular functions [main block valves]. Initiating single function of the block is conducted with the use of solenoid valve [for electro-hydraulic systems] or with the use of pilot valve [for pilot control systems].
  • When the particular valve in the main block is activated the pressure is supplied with channels in the main block directly to the receiver - hydraulic cylinder - attached to the function.
  • Modular nature of the main block enables free function configuration depending on geological conditions of the seam. The use of modular valve block for flat and thick seams. In case of using the control system for flat seams [up to 0,7 m] the amount of the shield functions is definitely smaller than in case of shield functions for thick seams [up to 3m]. For example a flipper function is used for thick seams. Modular valve block enables to add additional functions which makes it universal. The modular valve block usage in seams with and without the incline. While working with the shields in seams with crosswise and lengthwise seam additional functions are used [comparing with seams of no incline], like working path shield, conveyor holder [ every several shield], or canopy and base holder. In this case the modular valve block also enables to use systems for variety of seam types or its quick and safe expansion for current geological conditions.

Claims (5)

  1. The multifunctional modular hydraulic valve block gang consisting of a body with mounting slots for pressure and yield fittings, wherein the modules of the valve block 1 are assembled into a separable hydraulic valve block 2 with functions like supplying of the advancing ram module 3 or additional functions module 4 and the sealing module 5.
  2. The multifunctional modular hydraulic valve block gang, according to the claim 1. characteristic by the fact that the adjacent modules 1 are combined together with pins 6 and the slots 7 delivering the working medium of two adjacent modules have sealing sleeves 8 with sealing rings 9 assembled one per each sealing sleeve 8 in every valve block 1.
  3. The multifunctional modular hydraulic valve block gang according to the claim 1. characteristic by the fact that o-rings are used as the sealing rings 9.
  4. The multifunctional modular hydraulic valve block gang, according to the claim 1. characteristic by the fact that hydraulic valve block 2 has fourteen functions.
  5. The multifunctional modular hydraulic valve block gang, according to the claim 1. characteristic by the fact that hydraulic valve block 2 has twenty functions.
