The storage of the different parts of the drum assembly takes a lot of space. Moreover, the obtained drum assembly does generally not provide enough satisfactory features, especially in term of stiffness. This known drum assembly and its fabricating method are also money- consuming .

- the present invention may show several advantages in terms of customer and financial benefits. It may be advantageous for the manufacturing of the drum assembly because of a less expensive and easier tooling for welding and less space for the storage of components. Moreover, the invention may be environmental-saving because less rough material, mainly stainless steel, is scrapped, and also time- saving because less manual finishing, such as grinding, is needed.
