Abstract

The present invention relates to a rack apparatus (1) which can be removed easily in the shower enclosure systems and the location of which can be adjusted optionally, and furthermore which has enclosure profile (2) allowing the body (6) to be used in the area where the shower is taken when it is preferred, on the outer area when it is preferred or on both areas when it is preferred by means of having channel (3) on both sides.

Description

    Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a rack apparatus which can be removed easily in shower enclosure systems and the location of which can be adjusted optionally.
  • Background of the Invention
  • Today, several inventions have been made for the easiness of life and being clean all the time. One of these is shower enclosure. Even though it was first used as precaution for water cleaning after bath, then it has become indispensable part of a house in terms of the number of models and its luxurious appearance.
  • In shower enclosures used today, there is no apparatus which can easily be mounted on the enclosure profile systems. Apparatuses such as towel rack, bathrobe rack, soap holder are mounted on the wall and thus they are fixed. The user in different heights cannot reach the objects hanging on these apparatuses since the accessories are fixed. Since the apparatus is mounted on the wall, there will be a mark on the wall in case it is demounted. Besides, the wall should be drilled for new mounting. Furthermore, these apparatuses cannot be used inside or outside the shower enclosure when it is preferred.
  • United States Patent Document no US2005188459 discloses a bathing enclosure having a wall arrangement which supports one or more hanging accessories, such as a towel hook, soap dish and bottle rack. The said bath equipments can be slid horizontally in the gap and either extend to the inside or outside of the enclosure. Great Britain Patent document no GB2010672 , an application known in the state of the art, discloses a shower cabin having at least one sliding partition. The said cabin extendible and retractable clothes and laundry holders mounted on the frame section.
  • Summary of the Invention
  • The objective of the present invention is to provide a rack apparatus on which accessories such as towel, bathrobe can easily be hung without drilling the wall in shower enclosures.
  • Another objective of the present invention is to provide a rack apparatus which is changed according to the need of the individual and the height of which can easily be adjusted.
  • A further objective of the present invention is to provide a rack apparatus which allows application both inside and outside the enclosure.
  • Detailed Description of the Invention
  • The rack apparatus developed to fulfill the objective of the present invention is illustrated in the accompanying figures wherein,
    • Figure 1 is a perspective view of the rack apparatus.
    • Figure 2 is the perspective view of region U shown in Figure 1.
    • Figure 3 is the exploded view of the rack apparatus.
    • Figure 4 is the top view of the rack apparatus.
  • The components shown in the figures are each given reference numbers as follows:
    • 1. Rack apparatus
    • 2. Enclosure profile
    • 3. Channel
    • 4. Connection member
    • 5. Protrusion
    • 6. Body
    • D. Wall profile
    • K. Enclosure glass
  • A rack apparatus (1) which can be removed easily in shower enclosure systems and the location of which is adjusted optionally essentially comprises
    • at least one enclosure profile (2) the length of which is much bigger than its width,
    • at least one channel (3) which is located inside the enclosure profile (2) and made parallel to the length axis preferably on both sides of the enclosure profile (2),
    • at least one connection member (4) which can move along the channel (3) inside the channel (3) and thus allows the height to be adjusted in a preferred rate,
    • at least one protrusion (5) which is located in the connection member (4) and fits into the channel (3),
    • at least one body (6) which can be mounted on the connection member (4) and enables the bath accessories such as soap, towel, bathrobe and the like to be placed thereon.
  • In one embodiment of the invention, the wall profile (D) is mounted on the wall. The enclosure profile (2) is mounted on the wall profile (D) vertically. There is an enclosure glass (K) present on the other side of the enclosure profile (2). The channel (3) is located inside the enclosure profile (2), and the protrusion (5) is located within this channel (3) such that it can slide therein. The body (4) is present at the other end of the connection member (4) at the end of which the protrusion (5) is located. The connection member (4) and the body (6) can be moved back and forth inside the channel (3) by means of the protrusion (5). By means of positioning the enclosure profile (2) vertically, the body (6) can be positioned at the preferred height. The bath accessories such as towel, soap, bathrobe and the like can be fixed at preferred height and presented for use by means of positioning the body (6) in that way. In addition to this, the body (6) can be used in the area where the shower is taken when it is preferred, on the outer area when it is preferred or on both areas when it is preferred by means of having channel (3) on both sides by means of the channel (3) being present on both sides of the enclosure profile (2). Furthermore more than one body (6) can be placed in one channel (3).
  • In another embodiment of the invention, the channel (3) is positioned parallel to the ground plane. In this case, the body (6) can be positioned at the preferred point in a preferred horizontal axis via the protrusion (5).
  • Therefore, the bath accessories such as soap, towel, bathrobe and the like can be positioned on the shower enclosure where it is preferred.
