Abstract

A V-form snow plough of the invention solves the problem of adaptation of the plough to the road surface, i. e. to a bend of the road surface upwards or downwards or to a turn of the road surface around a longitudinal axis. The solution to the technical problem of the invention resides in the plough comprising a support frame of plough blades with two hydraulic cylinders, a guide board for swivelling guiding of the support frame, a mounting board for mounting the plough onto a vehicle, and a crank mechanism connecting the guide board and the mounting board, and comprising a lower fork, a first upper fork and a second upper fork, wherein at least one elastic element is arranged between the first upper fork and the second upper fork and allows the support frame with the blades in an active position to adapt to the road surface in all directions.

Description

    Technical Field
  • The invention relates to a snow plough, particularly to a V-form snow plough.
  • Prior Art
  • A snow plough is a device designed to be mounted onto a vehicle and used to clear snow and ice from external surfaces, particularly transport surfaces.
  • Single-blade snow ploughs are known from prior art. They are characterized in that they can only shove snow to one or the other side of the plough. Prior art also knows V-form snow ploughs that have an advantage over single-blade snow ploughs, namely they have a possibility of four configurations of blades. A plough of this type is disclosed in patent application EP 2 522 779 A1 . In a configuration with the left blade oriented forward and the right blade oriented backward, the plough shoves the snow to the right side of the road; in a configuration with the left blade oriented backward and the right blade oriented forward, the plough shoves the snow to the left side of the road; in a configuration with both blades oriented backward, the plough shoves the snow to both sides of the road; and in a configuration with both blades oriented forward, the plough gathers and thrusts the snow in front of itself.
  • A road is even only in an ideal case. In reality, a road curves upwards or downwards or curves around a longitudinal axis. To provide for well-cleared roads, a plough must constantly adapt to the road surface. Adaptation of single-blade ploughs to the road surface with a lateral inclination of the plough around a central axis in driving direction is solved in several known ways. One of the ways is fastening of a support frame of the blades to a board provided with circular holes, through which fastening screws are arranged. In this way, the support frame of the blades can glide circularly with respect to the board. Another known way of adaptation of the plough is elastic mounting of the front part of the plough.
  • The above-mentioned known solutions to the adaptation of the plough to the road surface are only applicable in a flat configuration of the plough, in which, when the road bends, the front end part of the plough blade follows the bend of the road surface and swivels the entire plough blade.
  • These solutions are not applicable in the V-form configuration of a plough as the tip of the plough is in the central longitudinal axis of the plough. When the road bends upwards, the tip of the plough hits the road surface. Prior art knows only a few solutions to the vertical adjustment of the plough relative to the vehicle, wherein a plough height is adjusted with respect to various deflections of vehicles, onto which a plough is mounted.
  • Technical Problem
  • The technical problem is how to provide a V-form snow plough that would adapt to the road surface, i. e. to a bend of the road surface upwards or downwards or to a turn of the road surface around a longitudinal axis, which would contribute to a well-cleared road.
  • Solution to the Technical Problem
  • The technical problem is solved by a V-form snow plough comprising:
    • left and right blade of a plough,
    • support frame of plough blades, wherein the left and right plough blades are hinged with the front end of the support frame around a vertical axis,
    • two first hydraulic cylinders, wherein the first hydraulic cylinders are hinged at one end with the support frame and hinged at the other end one with the left and the other with the right blade of the plough,
    • guide board with a plurality of through-holes formed in the shape of sections of concentric circles, wherein the support frame of the plough blades is fastened to the guide board by screws arranged through said through-holes in a way that the support frame of the plough blades can glidingly swivel relative to the guide board,
    • mounting board for mounting the snow plough to a vehicle,
    • lower fork that is hinged at one end with the lower part of the mounting board and hinged at the other end with the lower end of the guide board,
    • first upper fork hinged with one end with the upper end of the mounting board,
    • second upper fork hinged at one end with the upper end of the guide board and hinged at the other end with the first upper fork, wherein at least one elastic element is arranged between the first upper fork and the second upper fork, and
    • second hydraulic cylinder hinged at one end with the lower part of the mounting board and hinged at the other end with a transversal bar of the second upper fork.
  • The elastic element provides for a swivelling movement of the first upper fork relative to the second upper fork.
  • The second hydraulic cylinder is provided to lift the plough blades to an inactive position and to drop the blades to the road surface when in an active position. While the road is ploughed, the second hydraulic cylinder is released in order to assure that the lower part of the plough is constantly in contact with the road.
  • A ratio of arms of the first upper fork and the second upper fork is selected within the range from 1:1 to 3:2.
  • The second upper fork is provided with a through-hole through a second transversal bar of the second upper fork in longitudinal direction of the transversal bar. The first upper fork is formed of two mirror-symmetrical arms that are detachably fixed to the first transversal bar, wherein the first transversal bar is arranged through said through-hole of the second transversal bar.
  • Without circumventing the essence of the invention, the upper fork can also be formed the other way round, namely the second transversal bar of the second upper fork can be arranged through the hole in the first bar of the first upper fork.
  • Spaces around the first transversal bar which is arranged in the hole of the second transversal bar are filled with oblong elastic elements. The shape of the cross-section of the elastic elements is selected from a group comprising a circle and a right-angled triangle. The elastic elements are made from polyurethane.
  • The advantage of the V-form snow plough over known ploughs resides in the fact that, when in the active position, it constantly adapts to the bends of the road upward or downward, to the curves of the road around the longitudinal axis, and to the vehicle. The lower edge of the plough blades is in a constant contact with the road, which contributes to a well-cleared road surface.
