Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for producing a security seal on an original article or a pad for such a security seal.
- the subject of the present invention is also a pad and an original article on which a security seal is arranged.
- the invention relates, for example, to the field of forgery of expert reports, expertises, pictures, paintings and products.
- it relates to a method for producing a permanent, visible seal with implemented non-reproducible applications directly on a product to ensure originality, to document, to enable authentication and to provide optimal security against counterfeiting.
- seals that are applied with the help of embossing pliers o. ā . Instruments.
- the production of seal molds are often simple mechanical manufacturing processes.
- the application of sealing wax is known to almost everyone. Making hot stamping dies is also not particularly difficult and the materials are accessible to anyone.
- micro-array elements are in the current state of computer technology in any case nachbaubar, at least imitable. A halfway PC confidant can come with appropriate programs to remarkable results.
- Asia in particular, there is almost a market for services in the field.
- Visual markings are suitable for integration in product manufacturing, usually larger quantities. At least one printing device or pressure control is required to carry out the processes.
- Secret arrangement patterns are hardly possible and would have to be kept secret. Watermarks, holograms, or barcodes that provide proof of authenticity by comparing a two-dimensional, typically graphical, texture pattern are also possible.
- the imitation should be prevented in such structural patterns not by their size, but by their complex mapping or arrangement of their individual structural elements.
- the breadth of variations is not so great that every single product can get its own label. If, however, a large number of identical products are marked with the same label, the impres- sion of imitation increases for a counterfeiter. Falsification of the labels can also be made without any problems and misuse can be carried out.
- Holograms as safety labels are mainly glued on and can be removed either by chemicals or by water.
- a hologram - such as that available under the brand name holospot Ā® - the hologram is simply glued to the surface of the document to be backed up.
- the fact is, however, that paper dissolves in water, but the hologram remains undamaged, ie completely preserved. It is made of plastic.
- the document to be protected and the hologram can therefore be separated. Whether one of the Damage to both is irrelevant.
- the fact is, the purpose of document protection is not fully guaranteed. This in turn corroborates the logical conclusion that the undamaged hologram can be misused on another document.
- the hologram may be tamper-proof, but not fully capable of protecting a document.
- WO 2010/001203 A1 discloses a method for producing a label for a security seal, wherein in a first step a support layer is disposed on a support and in a second step microarray elements are arranged on the support layer to produce an absolutely unique microarray and also discloses an original article on which such security seal is arranged.
- the pad is placed on the original article in a further step and permanently attached.
- the security seal produced in this way can be used for the visible identification of a registration, a genuineness or an origin of the original article and / or for the improvement of a counterfeit security of the original article.
- original items that may be identified include any type of documents, in particular stocks, opinions, titles or deeds, such as notarial deeds.
- original items also pictures, paintings, musical instruments, antiques or jewelry may be designated. Images may include, for example, photographs, etchings or lithographs, which are usually to be sold without a frame.
- worthless banknote shreds with high-tech splinters thereon can to a certain extent be recycled and used in a security seal for marking original articles.
- Shredded banknote snippets may in particular include such snippets that result in the destruction of commercial banknotes of any national or regional currencies, such as euro bills or dollar bills.
- banks usually worn, over-written, crumpled or torn banknotes are sorted out and returned to the national banks. Of these, they are destroyed in mechanical shredder.
- In the destruction of banknotes arise sections of banknotes, which have become worthless in itself.
- modern banknotes are designed to have a certain number of high-tech security features that make banknote counterfeiting and validation of genuine banknotes.
- Such high-tech security features include, in particular, holograms, watermarks, security threads, UV threads, film strips and materials provided with pearlescent or fluorescence features.
- Shredded banknote shreds are preferably used, which are formed strip-shaped or band-shaped.
- Banknotes which are destroyed, for example, by the German Bundesbank, are shredded to a maximum of 1.5 x 15 mm strips. These are then pressed into cylindrical pellets with 6.5 cm in diameter and a maximum of 6 cm in height.
- snippets of a maximum of 1.5 ā 15 mm can be used by the German fĆ¼rbank for marking original objects, which forms a particularly cost-effective variant of the method.
- the user of the method himself destroys or cuts banknotes that are valid or invalid in, for example, a machine shredder and uses them to mark original items.
- special shapes such as zigzag cuts, circular or elliptical punching patterns or any art cuts from banknotes can be used.
- a person skilled in the design latitude in the own preparation of shredded banknote snippets can be seen.
- the shredded banknote chips are arranged on the original article or during the production of the pad in a random arrangement on the carrier layer or introduced into the carrier layer.
- a random arrangement not only allows an obvious distinction of original items that are the same by comparing the security seals.
- the counterfeit-proof features of the banknotes, which are randomly selected by shredding, add another factor which can contribute to improving the security against counterfeiting, namely that of the arrangement of the banknote snippets.
- the random arrangement may relate to the spatial position and the time sequence of the arrangement of the individual snippets, and generally to the superimposition of the banknote snippets to each other, in particular also on the nature and location of overlaps of the individual snippets with each other.
- At least two banknote snippets, particularly preferably a multiplicity of banknote snippets, are preferably arranged at least partially overlapping.
- an open or a compact arrangement of the banknote snippets can be provided.
- An open arrangement comprises a multiplicity of clear spaces in which there are no banknote snippets in the carrier material and in which optionally the original object appears through the carrier material.
- a compact arrangement can be achieved, for example, particularly simply by using or replicating a few millimeters thick slice of one of the above-described pellets from the German Bundesbank.
- a compact banknote netting is in this area of the Security Seal ideally no review of the original item possible.
- the shredded banknote chips are arranged on the original article or during the production of the pad by hand on the carrier layer or introduced into the carrier layer.
- An exclusively manual attachment or insertion is a guarantee for the actually random arrangement of the banknote snippets on or in the carrier material.
- Hand-applied or introduced banknote snippets may also have recognizable microstructures, such as residues of fingerprints or uneven layers in the carrier layer, which are caused, for example, when swapped using fingertips.
- the carrier layer may have recognizable microstructures, such as trapped air bubbles, the number and / or size of which may differ from those which arise in machine-applied or applied banknote snippets.
- a machine-operated process can be provided which has nondeterministic elements, for example using drop shafts and / or machine-generated air flows, in which the banknote snippets are guided onto the carrier layer or by using robotic arms, which are for example driven non-deterministically. This has the advantage that a security seal can usually be produced by automation in a shorter time and more cost-effectively than by hand. It can also be provided to manually apply one or a few, for example, in their position banknotes and the rest by machine.
- a further step on the original article or in the production of the pad further particles or strips having forgery-proof features are arranged on the carrier layer or introduced into the carrier layer.
- Such anti-counterfeiting features may include, for example, stocks, checks, certificates, expired tickets, specialty color printed paper strips, specialty color printed plastics, newspaper strips, magazine paper strips, pictures or drawings. These can for example be shredded, cut or torn and optionally further processed, which such particles or strips can be provided.
- the particles or strips preferably also have, like the shredded banknote chips, forgery-proof features such as holograms, watermarks, security threads, UV threads, film strips and materials provided with pearlescent or fluorescence features.
- the arrangement of the further anti-counterfeit features particles or strips on the carrier layer can also be done by hand or automatically, the procedures each inherent the same advantages, which were described with reference to the manual or automatic application of the shredded banknotes.
- At least one code is arranged on the carrier layer or introduced into the carrier layer in a further step on the original article or during the production of the pad.
- a code can be any character with built-in numeric or alphanumeric code.
- the code may also include a bar code or a data matrix code such as a QR code, i. H. a so-called quick-response code or an RFID code.
- QR code i. H. a so-called quick-response code or an RFID code.
- a code makes the security seal particularly easy to read and check by machine. If the code includes numeric or alphanumeric characters, it preferably has a font size and font that the code can be read by machine error-free.
- the carrier layer is formed from a carrier material which is to be selected depending on the original article.
- the carrier material may in particular be made of a two-component epoxy resin adhesive, a self-adhesive polymer plastic, a polyester resin or a clearcoat or a combination thereof.
- the carrier layer may be transparent or opaque. For an opaque carrier layer, clear, non-milky colors are preferred, which are easy to recognize by machine.
- the in-the-carrier-layer-introduction differs from the on-the-carrier-layer-arranging in that the snippets, particles or stripes thereafter can not rest on the carrier layer but can be completely surrounded by it, for example by dipping or sedimentation can.
- the security features, especially the shredded banknote snippets are not accessible. If these are already introduced into the carrier layer during the production of the seal, a further wetting with a further carrier layer is possibly no longer necessary.
- the further carrier layer may be made of the same material as the first carrier layer.
- the further carrier layer may also comprise a material different therefrom, in particular, for example, a clearcoat, which also causes a certain surface appearance, for example a matt or glossy surface or else a particularly smooth or particularly rough surface.
- the arrangement which comprises one or more carrier layers and shredded banknotes, in the case of the pad optionally also a base and a top layer, can then be compressed manually or mechanically on the original article or during the production of the pad, for example by a stamping tool.
- the stamp can form part of a machine tool, for example, which is suitable for carrying out the method.
- the security seal is combined and completed as a unit with the original object. In this case, a smooth surface of the security seal can be created.
- curing of the security seal in air or, for example, tempering at moderate heat, for example between 30 Ā° C. and 50 Ā° C. may take place in one room.
- the curing can be carried out in particular by means of a UV light source, for example by means of a high pressure mercury vapor lamp or by means of a plurality of LEDs.
- the curing can also be carried out simultaneously with the compression with a curing tool, which may be formed combined with the pressing tool, for example as a press die with a UV light source integrated therein.
- the UV light source can be located in a hand-held device.
- a two-component epoxy resin adhesive generally does not require UV curing. The curing takes place in this case within minutes in the air.
- the two-component epoxy resin adhesive proves to be particularly harmless for the original items, d. H. he does not attack them and is therefore preferred for particularly expensive objects, such as paintings or musical instruments.
- a one-component adhesive which has undergone UV curing, for example, provides improved adhesion. It has been found that even in the case of marking documents as original objects with a sufficient light intensity, a carrier layer with a UV-curable one-component adhesive can be used, wherein a one-sided seal hardening, depending on the UV efficiency, about 3 s to 6 s can amount.
- the attachment of the pad on the original article is preferably carried out in that the pad is peeled off and the pad is pressed onto the object.
- a carrier layer which may for example also be made of a two-component epoxy resin adhesive, a self-adhesive polymer plastic, a polyester resin or a clearcoat or a combination thereof, and then the Pad with or without pad to press.

- a simultaneous or subsequent curing can be carried out exactly as described in connection with the production of the pad.
- the UV light source can be located in particular in a hand-held device.
- the original article is punched in the area in which the security seal is applied.
- the arrangement of a passage opening can take place, for example, by means of any punching tool, in the case of a document, for example, through a punch. It can then be provided to perform the same procedure as on the front with respect to the back of the original article. It can be provided to arrange a carrier layer on the back of the original article in a first step and to arrange in a second step shredded banknote snippets on the carrier layer or to introduce into the carrier layer. It is clear that all training and further education of the Method are also possible here. Alternatively, it can be provided to arrange a further pad on the back of the original article and to attach permanently.
- the seal of the front and the seal of the back are ideally inseparable connected by the perforation of the support materials and not destroy without the seal itself and to protect the unique to be separated from each other.
- This development is particularly advantageous to apply if it is the original object is a multi-page document or a document in which the front and the back are labeled.
- a connection with an emergency thread may additionally be provided.
- the original article when employing the method for original non-documentary items such as musical instruments, pictures, paintings, antiques or jewelery, the original article may be applied by a dry process, a wet-chemical process, prior to application of the support layer or prior to application of the pad and / or a mechanical process may be cleaned so that the backing adheres firmly to the original article.
- a wet-chemical process prior to application of the support layer or prior to application of the pad and / or a mechanical process may be cleaned so that the backing adheres firmly to the original article.
- Mechanical methods for cleaning such original articles prior to application of the backing layer include, for example, brushing, grinding, abrasive polishing, or jet blasting, blasting, or supercritical carbon dioxide blasting. By such a mechanical process, the uppermost layer of the original article is removed in each case.
- dry cleaning methods are also suitable. These are, for example, the dedusting by means of brushing and / or deionized air, corona discharge or low-pressure plasma and the removal of particles by means of rollers and / or rollers, which are provided with an adhesive layer.
- a corona discharge or a low-pressure plasma By means of a corona discharge or a low-pressure plasma, the surface tension of the original article can be selectively increased, the surface of the original article cleaned of organic residues and thus both the Wetting with the carrier layer as well as the adhesion of the carrier layer can be improved.
- Acidic or alkaline reagents are, for example, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid or nitric acid, phosphoric acid or caustic soda, potassium hydroxide or carbonates, such as potassium carbonate, these being selected depending on the original article.

- the pad may in particular be produced according to one of the methods described above.
- the pad may comprise further layers, both on the side facing the original article and on the side facing away from the original article.
- the further layers may in particular comprise protective layers, which are to be removed before application and allow storage of the pads, for example, without sticking to one another, wherein a comparison with a commercial bicycle patches with its protective films on the top and bottom can help to an idea.
- the pad comprises a base on which the first carrier layer is arranged and / or a cover layer.
- the backing and / or the cover layer may be made of a material comprising polyolefins, polystyrenes, vinyl polymers, polycarbonates, polyethers, polyurethanes, polyphenylene oxide, polyethylene copolymers, ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), styrene / ethylene / butylene block copolymer (SEB), styrene / Ethylene / propylene copolymer (SEP), polypropylene (PP), medicinal white oil, styrene / butadiene / styrene copolymer (SBS), polybutylene (PB), ethylene / propylene / diene rubber (EPDM), Ethylene / propylene plastic and styrene / butadiene / styrene block polymer (SBS), functionalized polyprop
- the backing and / or the cover layer preferably comprise materials which repel the adhesive of the carrier layer used and / or have sufficient adhesive resistance with respect to the carrier layer, so that the underlay and / or the cover layer can be easily detached from the carrier material.

- the pad comprises further counterfeit-proof features comprising particles or strips.
- the particles or strips preferably also have, like the shredded banknote chips, forgery-proof features such as holograms, watermarks, security threads, UV threads, film strips and materials provided with pearlescent or fluorescence features.
- the pad comprises further particles or strips having forgery-proof features, the particles or strips originating from shares, checks, certificates, expired tickets, special-printed paper strips, plastic printed with special-purpose color, newspaper strips, magazine paper strips, pictures or drawings. For example, they may be shredded, cut or torn and optionally further processed, thereby providing particles or strips.
- the pad comprises at least one code, for example a character with an integrated numeric or alphanumeric code, a bar code, a data matrix code, for example a QR code or a RFID code. It can be provided to arrange a code element having at least one code in the carrier layer or on the cover layer.
- An RFID code can be arranged, for example, as an RFID label in the carrier layer or on the cover layer.
- the invention comprises an original article on which a security seal is arranged which has a first layer with a carrier material and shredded banknote chips arranged on the carrier layer or introduced into the carrier layer.
- the security seal can in particular be formed by one of the pads described above.

- the codes and associated security seals may be provided for download on a computing device such as a server, e.g. B. over a data network such as the Internet or a Communication connection such as a telephone line or a wireless connection. For security reasons, storage in an offline database is preferred.
- a check of the security seal can be done for example by photographing or scanning, wherein the electronic image is transmitted to a server, which verifies the authenticity.
- the code is first recognized and the photographed or scanned security seal is compared with the stored in the database to the code security seal.
- the authenticity check is carried out on the basis of comparison of the shredded banknote snippets, in particular the type, nature and location of the high-tech chips, type, nature and location of the shredded banknote snippets, as well as possibly the further security features and possibly by recognition of the type and location of further structures, such as enclosed air bubbles.
- the recognition of objects on the images may include, in particular, texture-based methods in which objects can be detected by means of classifiers, wherein certain features of the image are compared at certain positions with stored and / or learned features and their similarity to one another is determined.
- texture-based methods in which objects can be detected by means of classifiers, wherein certain features of the image are compared at certain positions with stored and / or learned features and their similarity to one another is determined.
- a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention consists in a tamper-proof seal, which should not be prefabricated by machine and / or serial for safety reasons. It is executed and applied directly on the object.
- the base material is applied using appropriate equipment. This usually consists of two-component epoxy resin. It can also consist of self-adhesive polymer labels or polyester resin.
- the two component adhesive is fused fifty to fifty. After the end of the dripping time, it is applied to the previously marked area of the object to be protected by means of a spatula. In this mass applied shredded, old banknotes snippets originating from the banknote destruction site of the German Bundesbank and shredded holograms by hand at random scattered.
- a particularly preferred feature of the anti-counterfeiting security is the implied hologram, which is registered in a separate database and is only available once for this original label.
- the once assigned and registered alphanumeric code - also included in the hologram - is inserted into the second level of the seal, covered with the same material and pressed together again. It connects inextricably with the ground, thus creating the counterfeit-proof overall seal, for example, in three levels.
- the seal in effect to put together in one piece with the ground in between. This is achieved, for example, by the fact that material to be secured can be punched in the area to be applied in order to be able to carry out the same procedure from the rear side.
- the security seal adheres firmly to the product, eg. B. on a report and preferably also includes various open and hidden security features that are written in advance with a high-resolution laser in the information field.
- the seal is photographed and scanned and can be stored with the alphanumeric code in databases and compared.
- the method is preferably carried out directly on the object, that is executed on and on the original and applied and not completed outside of the process of forgery-proofing.
- the manual method differs from mass-produced and implemented methods, for example, using micropigments because of its uniqueness in the manufacturing process. Regardless of technical progress, it is simple, stable and effective. Although it may be considered obsolete at first sight due to some necessary human manipulation, it turns out to be out of date, due to the processes used in the process - manufactured in high-tech manufacturing processes, eg. As shredded former banknotes and implied individual applications, as remarkably timely in the technical effect.
- the invention represents in itself a new technical procedure in the counterfeit protection of expertise, documents, paintings and paintings, which is not reproducible in itself, because it by the interaction of all components used - it must also be considered purely accidentally trapped air bubbles - in is unique and can be viewed as a genetic fingerprint.
- the procedure guarantees each buyer the authenticity of his forgery-proof unique certificate for the examined instrument, picture, painting, antique, jewelery, diamonds and so on. Paints, pictures and expert reports etc. with the provided seal can no longer be falsified because a) the scanned and photographed security seal is deposited in two exclusively offline databases and b) the same security seal is additionally secured as a microfilm.
- the process provides clarity and maximum security for business transactions on the basis of credibility. The procedure always preserves the reputation of the expert without any doubt.

Description
The invention relates to a method for producing a security seal on an original article or a pad for such a security seal.
The subject of the present invention is also a pad and an original article on which a security seal is arranged.
The invention relates, for example, to the field of forgery of expert reports, expertises, pictures, paintings and products. In particular, it relates to a method for producing a permanent, visible seal with implemented non-reproducible applications directly on a product to ensure originality, to document, to enable authentication and to provide optimal security against counterfeiting.
Counterfeit appraisals and expert opinions are used to price exaggerated, manipulated or completely fake pieces for supposedly genuine instruments, antiques and paintings. The facts: The gray market is a seemingly impenetrable network of organized counterfeiters and fraudsters who have purposefully exploited the ignorance of a - mostly well-heeled - buyers group to fake with fake reviews high prices for inferior goods. These traders, usually noble gangsters in pinstripes, initially gain the confidence of interested parties, clients or acquirers. They make them credible, these reports submitted by him were genuine unique, after all, they would by respected experts, on their own papers, with their own watermarks and seemingly Signed distinctive seals. The fact that these could be falsified is often not even considered by the unsuspecting victims of the alleged authenticity features. The reality: The previous expert opinion is deficient. Even a moderately talented forger copies such a written document in such a deceptively real way within a few days that the reviewer himself will not recognize his own document as a falsification.
- A.) Verwendung von Siegellack.
- D.) Mechanische Dokumentensicherung mittels individuell angefertigten PrƤgestempeln
- A.) Use of sealing wax. Application by heating and dripping the sealing wax on a document and pressing the seal stamp in the liquid sealant.
- B.) The usual seal security by example NotarprƤgestempel o. Ć.
- C.) Use of dry and hot stamping dies by means of positive and negative molds
- D.) Mechanical document security by means of individually produced embossing stamps
- E.) use of holograms,
- F.) Use of security labels with micro-array elements to produce a completely unique microarray or even use of inorganic microparticles.
The most common methods used to secure documents are based on manufacturing processes that even laymen could duplicate. To name for example are seals that are applied with the help of embossing pliers o. Ć. Instruments. The production of seal molds are often simple mechanical manufacturing processes. The application of sealing wax is known to almost everyone. Making hot stamping dies is also not particularly difficult and the materials are accessible to anyone.
The preparation of micro-array elements is in the current state of computer technology in any case nachbaubar, at least imitable. A halfway PC confidant can come with appropriate programs to remarkable results. In Asia, in particular, there is almost a market for services in the field. In the field of inorganic microparticles it is specified to consider as well. This is mainly about evidence of authenticity, which are not imitated, so the highest possible To identify counterfeit security. Visual markings are suitable for integration in product manufacturing, usually larger quantities. At least one printing device or pressure control is required to carry out the processes. Secret arrangement patterns are hardly possible and would have to be kept secret. Watermarks, holograms, or barcodes that provide proof of authenticity by comparing a two-dimensional, typically graphical, texture pattern are also possible. The imitation should be prevented in such structural patterns not by their size, but by their complex mapping or arrangement of their individual structural elements. Here, the breadth of variations is not so great that every single product can get its own label. If, however, a large number of identical products are marked with the same label, the impres- sion of imitation increases for a counterfeiter. Falsification of the labels can also be made without any problems and misuse can be carried out.
The previous methods are all based, more or less, on a typographic design and must be pre-produced. This requires a great deal of preparation and harbors too many risks from integrated machinery and equipment that could be manipulated or viewed by third parties. Not to mention the people involved, who present certain known security risks. In most cases, the graphic security features are generated in a precisely defined and reproducible manner. This results in variations of security labels by controlled constant change according to rules, obvious by programming. If this is known or can it be reconstructed on the basis of the technical status of the appearance of the label, so it can also be copied. Especially if the label was not designed for the unique, but for a type or a series.
Holograms as safety labels are mainly glued on and can be removed either by chemicals or by water. When backing up a document with a hologram - such as that available under the brand name holospot Ā® - the hologram is simply glued to the surface of the document to be backed up. The fact is, however, that paper dissolves in water, but the hologram remains undamaged, ie completely preserved. It is made of plastic. The document to be protected and the hologram can therefore be separated. Whether one of the Damage to both is irrelevant. The fact is, the purpose of document protection is not fully guaranteed. This in turn corroborates the logical conclusion that the undamaged hologram can be misused on another document. The hologram may be tamper-proof, but not fully capable of protecting a document.
- a) a security seal on an original item or
- b) a pad for such a security seal
in a first step
in case a) in an area on the original object or
in case b) on a base
a carrier layer is arranged and
in a second step, shredded banknote chips are arranged on the carrier layer or introduced into the carrier layer.
In case b), the pad is placed on the original article in a further step and permanently attached.
It is particularly advantageous that the security seal produced in this way can be used for the visible identification of a registration, a genuineness or an origin of the original article and / or for the improvement of a counterfeit security of the original article.
For example, original items that may be identified include any type of documents, in particular stocks, opinions, titles or deeds, such as notarial deeds. In addition, as original items also pictures, paintings, musical instruments, antiques or jewelry may be designated. Images may include, for example, photographs, etchings or lithographs, which are usually to be sold without a frame.
Advantageously, within the scope of the invention, worthless banknote shreds with high-tech splinters thereon can to a certain extent be recycled and used in a security seal for marking original articles. Shredded banknote snippets may in particular include such snippets that result in the destruction of commercial banknotes of any national or regional currencies, such as euro bills or dollar bills. In banks, usually worn, over-written, crumpled or torn banknotes are sorted out and returned to the national banks. Of these, they are destroyed in mechanical shredder. In the destruction of banknotes arise sections of banknotes, which have become worthless in itself. However, modern banknotes are designed to have a certain number of high-tech security features that make banknote counterfeiting and validation of genuine banknotes. Such high-tech security features include, in particular, holograms, watermarks, security threads, UV threads, film strips and materials provided with pearlescent or fluorescence features.
Shredded banknote shreds are preferably used, which are formed strip-shaped or band-shaped. Banknotes, which are destroyed, for example, by the German Bundesbank, are shredded to a maximum of 1.5 x 15 mm strips. These are then pressed into cylindrical pellets with 6.5 cm in diameter and a maximum of 6 cm in height. In the security seal according to the invention, snippets of a maximum of 1.5 Ć 15 mm can be used by the German Bundesbank for marking original objects, which forms a particularly cost-effective variant of the method. Alternatively or in addition thereto, it may also be provided that the user of the method himself destroys or cuts banknotes that are valid or invalid in, for example, a machine shredder and uses them to mark original items. In this case, special shapes, such as zigzag cuts, circular or elliptical punching patterns or any art cuts from banknotes can be used. A person skilled in the design latitude in the own preparation of shredded banknote snippets can be seen.
Already a single banknote snippet is sufficient due to the therein high-tech splitter, so as to implement the method for producing the security seal or the pad for the security seal. However, this would correspond to an unintentionally low security level of the security seal. Therefore, preferably two to several hundred or thousand, preferably about 5 to 50, more preferably between 10 and 20 banknote shreds are used in a security seal according to the invention. The latter preferred choice is characterized in particular by the fact that in this way an optically particularly appealing arrangement of the banknote chips can be achieved, which also offers sufficient security.
According to a preferred embodiment of the method, the shredded banknote chips are arranged on the original article or during the production of the pad in a random arrangement on the carrier layer or introduced into the carrier layer. A random arrangement not only allows an obvious distinction of original items that are the same by comparing the security seals. The counterfeit-proof features of the banknotes, which are randomly selected by shredding, add another factor which can contribute to improving the security against counterfeiting, namely that of the arrangement of the banknote snippets.
The random arrangement may relate to the spatial position and the time sequence of the arrangement of the individual snippets, and generally to the superimposition of the banknote snippets to each other, in particular also on the nature and location of overlaps of the individual snippets with each other. At least two banknote snippets, particularly preferably a multiplicity of banknote snippets, are preferably arranged at least partially overlapping. In this case, an open or a compact arrangement of the banknote snippets can be provided. An open arrangement comprises a multiplicity of clear spaces in which there are no banknote snippets in the carrier material and in which optionally the original object appears through the carrier material. A compact arrangement can be achieved, for example, particularly simply by using or replicating a few millimeters thick slice of one of the above-described pellets from the German Bundesbank. In a compact banknote netting is in this area of the Security Seal ideally no review of the original item possible.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the method, the shredded banknote chips are arranged on the original article or during the production of the pad by hand on the carrier layer or introduced into the carrier layer. An exclusively manual attachment or insertion is a guarantee for the actually random arrangement of the banknote snippets on or in the carrier material. The fact that a person distributes the snippets, it is also achieved that each security seal is unique in each case. Hand-applied or introduced banknote snippets may also have recognizable microstructures, such as residues of fingerprints or uneven layers in the carrier layer, which are caused, for example, when swapped using fingertips. Also, the carrier layer may have recognizable microstructures, such as trapped air bubbles, the number and / or size of which may differ from those which arise in machine-applied or applied banknote snippets. As an alternative to manual operation, a machine-operated process can be provided which has nondeterministic elements, for example using drop shafts and / or machine-generated air flows, in which the banknote snippets are guided onto the carrier layer or by using robotic arms, which are for example driven non-deterministically. This has the advantage that a security seal can usually be produced by automation in a shorter time and more cost-effectively than by hand. It can also be provided to manually apply one or a few, for example, in their position banknotes and the rest by machine.
According to a preferred embodiment of the method, in a further step on the original article or in the production of the pad further particles or strips having forgery-proof features are arranged on the carrier layer or introduced into the carrier layer. Such anti-counterfeiting features may include, for example, stocks, checks, certificates, expired tickets, specialty color printed paper strips, specialty color printed plastics, newspaper strips, magazine paper strips, pictures or drawings. These can for example be shredded, cut or torn and optionally further processed, which such particles or strips can be provided. The particles or strips preferably also have, like the shredded banknote chips, forgery-proof features such as holograms, watermarks, security threads, UV threads, film strips and materials provided with pearlescent or fluorescence features. The arrangement of the further anti-counterfeit features particles or strips on the carrier layer can also be done by hand or automatically, the procedures each inherent the same advantages, which were described with reference to the manual or automatic application of the shredded banknotes.
According to a preferred embodiment of the method, at least one code is arranged on the carrier layer or introduced into the carrier layer in a further step on the original article or during the production of the pad. A code can be any character with built-in numeric or alphanumeric code. In particular, the code may also include a bar code or a data matrix code such as a QR code, i. H. a so-called quick-response code or an RFID code. A code makes the security seal particularly easy to read and check by machine. If the code includes numeric or alphanumeric characters, it preferably has a font size and font that the code can be read by machine error-free.
According to a preferred embodiment, the carrier layer is formed from a carrier material which is to be selected depending on the original article. The carrier material may in particular be made of a two-component epoxy resin adhesive, a self-adhesive polymer plastic, a polyester resin or a clearcoat or a combination thereof. The carrier layer may be transparent or opaque. For an opaque carrier layer, clear, non-milky colors are preferred, which are easy to recognize by machine.
The in-the-carrier-layer-introduction differs from the on-the-carrier-layer-arranging in that the snippets, particles or stripes thereafter can not rest on the carrier layer but can be completely surrounded by it, for example by dipping or sedimentation can. For the safety of Security seal, it is advantageous if the security features, especially the shredded banknote snippets are not accessible. If these are already introduced into the carrier layer during the production of the seal, a further wetting with a further carrier layer is possibly no longer necessary.
However, it can also be provided to arrange a further carrier layer on the original article or in the production of the pad on the arrangement with the carrier layer and the shredded banknotes. This ensures that the shredded banknote snippets are not accessible. The further carrier layer may be made of the same material as the first carrier layer. However, the further carrier layer may also comprise a material different therefrom, in particular, for example, a clearcoat, which also causes a certain surface appearance, for example a matt or glossy surface or else a particularly smooth or particularly rough surface.
The arrangement which comprises one or more carrier layers and shredded banknotes, in the case of the pad optionally also a base and a top layer, can then be compressed manually or mechanically on the original article or during the production of the pad, for example by a stamping tool. The stamp can form part of a machine tool, for example, which is suitable for carrying out the method. In the compression, the security seal is combined and completed as a unit with the original object. In this case, a smooth surface of the security seal can be created.
After the security seal has been compressed, curing of the security seal in air or, for example, tempering at moderate heat, for example between 30 Ā° C. and 50 Ā° C., may take place in one room. The curing can be carried out in particular by means of a UV light source, for example by means of a high pressure mercury vapor lamp or by means of a plurality of LEDs. The curing can also be carried out simultaneously with the compression with a curing tool, which may be formed combined with the pressing tool, for example as a press die with a UV light source integrated therein. The UV light source can be located in a hand-held device.
A two-component epoxy resin adhesive generally does not require UV curing. The curing takes place in this case within minutes in the air. The two-component epoxy resin adhesive proves to be particularly harmless for the original items, d. H. he does not attack them and is therefore preferred for particularly expensive objects, such as paintings or musical instruments. In contrast, a one-component adhesive, which has undergone UV curing, for example, provides improved adhesion. It has been found that even in the case of marking documents as original objects with a sufficient light intensity, a carrier layer with a UV-curable one-component adhesive can be used, wherein a one-sided seal hardening, depending on the UV efficiency, about 3 s to 6 s can amount.
The attachment of the pad on the original article is preferably carried out in that the pad is peeled off and the pad is pressed onto the object. Alternatively, it may also be provided to arrange on the original article a carrier layer, which may for example also be made of a two-component epoxy resin adhesive, a self-adhesive polymer plastic, a polyester resin or a clearcoat or a combination thereof, and then the Pad with or without pad to press. The pressing of the pad on the original object can be done manually or by machine, for example using a stamping tool. A simultaneous or subsequent curing can be carried out exactly as described in connection with the production of the pad. The UV light source can be located in particular in a hand-held device.
In a further development of the method, the original article is punched in the area in which the security seal is applied. The arrangement of a passage opening can take place, for example, by means of any punching tool, in the case of a document, for example, through a punch. It is particularly advantageous that the seal of the front and the seal of the back are ideally inseparable connected by the perforation of the support materials and not destroy without the seal itself and to protect the unique to be separated from each other. This development is particularly advantageous to apply if it is the original object is a multi-page document or a document in which the front and the back are labeled. A connection with an emergency thread may additionally be provided.
In particular, when employing the method for original non-documentary items such as musical instruments, pictures, paintings, antiques or jewelery, the original article may be applied by a dry process, a wet-chemical process, prior to application of the support layer or prior to application of the pad and / or a mechanical process may be cleaned so that the backing adheres firmly to the original article. In particular, it is also possible by means of the wet-chemical and the mechanical method to roughen the surface of the original article so that the carrier layer adheres better to it.
Mechanical methods for cleaning such original articles prior to application of the backing layer include, for example, brushing, grinding, abrasive polishing, or jet blasting, blasting, or supercritical carbon dioxide blasting. By such a mechanical process, the uppermost layer of the original article is removed in each case.
To remove dust and other particles that may affect the adhesion of the carrier layer on the original article, as well as for roughening the surface, dry cleaning methods are also suitable. These are, for example, the dedusting by means of brushing and / or deionized air, corona discharge or low-pressure plasma and the removal of particles by means of rollers and / or rollers, which are provided with an adhesive layer. By means of a corona discharge or a low-pressure plasma, the surface tension of the original article can be selectively increased, the surface of the original article cleaned of organic residues and thus both the Wetting with the carrier layer as well as the adhesion of the carrier layer can be improved.
As a wet-chemical method is particularly suitable rinsing of the original article in the appropriate area with acidic or alkaline reagents or with suitable solvents. Also water in conjunction with ultrasound can be used. Acidic or alkaline reagents are, for example, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid or nitric acid, phosphoric acid or caustic soda, potassium hydroxide or carbonates, such as potassium carbonate, these being selected depending on the original article. Suitable solvents include, for example, alcohols, ketones and hydrocarbons, which are also to be selected depending on the original article.

The backing and / or the cover layer preferably comprise materials which repel the adhesive of the carrier layer used and / or have sufficient adhesive resistance with respect to the carrier layer, so that the underlay and / or the cover layer can be easily detached from the carrier material. Particularly preferably, the substrate and / or the cover layer comprise a material which is made of a polypropylene (PP).
According to a preferred embodiment, the pad comprises further counterfeit-proof features comprising particles or strips. The particles or strips preferably also have, like the shredded banknote chips, forgery-proof features such as holograms, watermarks, security threads, UV threads, film strips and materials provided with pearlescent or fluorescence features.
According to a preferred embodiment, the pad comprises further particles or strips having forgery-proof features, the particles or strips originating from shares, checks, certificates, expired tickets, special-printed paper strips, plastic printed with special-purpose color, newspaper strips, magazine paper strips, pictures or drawings. For example, they may be shredded, cut or torn and optionally further processed, thereby providing particles or strips.
According to a preferred embodiment, the pad comprises at least one code, for example a character with an integrated numeric or alphanumeric code, a bar code, a data matrix code, for example a QR code or a RFID code. It can be provided to arrange a code element having at least one code in the carrier layer or on the cover layer. An RFID code can be arranged, for example, as an RFID label in the carrier layer or on the cover layer.
According to a further aspect, the invention comprises an original article on which a security seal is arranged which has a first layer with a carrier material and shredded banknote chips arranged on the carrier layer or introduced into the carrier layer. The security seal can in particular be formed by one of the pads described above.
The security seal and / or the pad preferably have a size of 0.02 cm 2 to 100 cm 2 , in particular from 0.4 cm 2 to 10 cm 2 , particularly preferably from 1 cm 2 to 6 cm 2 . In the case of an oval or circular shape, a diameter of 1.5 cm to 4 cm is preferred, wherein the diameter of an oval shape may refer to the size of both the small and the large axis. For original items such as musical instruments, paintings, paintings, antiques or jewelry, sizes are preferred that do not distort the look of the original item too much, so are not annoying. With these objects and documents, however, a testimony of authenticity can be in the foreground, so that the security seal can also have a conspicuous size.
The invention also provides a method comprising marking a plurality of original items with coded security seals and storing the security seals with the associated codes in databases. Preferably, a unique code is used so that each security seal can be uniquely identified by code. For example, the codes and associated security seals may be stored in tables on a machine-readable storage medium, such as a permanent or rewritable storage medium or associated with a computing device or on a removable CD-ROM, DVD or USB stick. Additionally or alternatively, the codes and associated security seals may be provided for download on a computing device such as a server, e.g. B. over a data network such as the Internet or a Communication connection such as a telephone line or a wireless connection. For security reasons, storage in an offline database is preferred.
A check of the security seal can be done for example by photographing or scanning, wherein the electronic image is transmitted to a server, which verifies the authenticity. Here it is provided that the code is first recognized and the photographed or scanned security seal is compared with the stored in the database to the code security seal. The authenticity check is carried out on the basis of comparison of the shredded banknote snippets, in particular the type, nature and location of the high-tech chips, type, nature and location of the shredded banknote snippets, as well as possibly the further security features and possibly by recognition of the type and location of further structures, such as enclosed air bubbles. The recognition of objects on the images may include, in particular, texture-based methods in which objects can be detected by means of classifiers, wherein certain features of the image are compared at certain positions with stored and / or learned features and their similarity to one another is determined. There are a variety of methods known to those skilled in the art.
A particularly preferred embodiment of the invention consists in a tamper-proof seal, which should not be prefabricated by machine and / or serial for safety reasons. It is executed and applied directly on the object. For this purpose, the base material is applied using appropriate equipment. This usually consists of two-component epoxy resin. It can also consist of self-adhesive polymer labels or polyester resin. For a seal, the two component adhesive is fused fifty to fifty. After the end of the dripping time, it is applied to the previously marked area of the object to be protected by means of a spatula. In this mass applied shredded, old banknotes snippets originating from the banknote destruction site of the German Bundesbank and shredded holograms by hand at random scattered. Each individual particle of this snippet is to be described as such forgery-proof, because each item contains features that could not be recreated as individual parts, even if a counterfeiter wanted to make the effort, a failure would be predictable. It creates an unmistakable self-image, which is not in its kind is reproducible. On the other hand, there is also the three-dimensionality, which is documented as a picture in the scanned, high-resolution state and registered in a database. When attempting to replicate the implemented particles and snippets as falsifications, the documented image on the original can only be displayed disfigured. A superimposition of the counterfeit and the original documents that already in the first 1: 1-Sichtvergleich, in the enlargement and superimposing it is particularly clearly exposed recognizable.
A particularly preferred feature of the anti-counterfeiting security is the implied hologram, which is registered in a separate database and is only available once for this original label. The once assigned and registered alphanumeric code - also included in the hologram - is inserted into the second level of the seal, covered with the same material and pressed together again. It connects inextricably with the ground, thus creating the counterfeit-proof overall seal, for example, in three levels. In order to make sheet documents undetachable from the ground, it is provided according to a particularly preferred embodiment, the seal in effect to put together in one piece with the ground in between. This is achieved, for example, by the fact that material to be secured can be punched in the area to be applied in order to be able to carry out the same procedure from the rear side. The materials, in the not yet fully cured state, naturally combine their chemical properties. As a result, a document to be explicitly secured is inseparably connected to each other by the connection of the seal of the front side and the seal of the back after curing of the substrates and the seal and the document can not be separated without destroying the seal itself and the unique one to be protected.
The security seal adheres firmly to the product, eg. B. on a report and preferably also includes various open and hidden security features that are written in advance with a high-resolution laser in the information field. The seal is photographed and scanned and can be stored with the alphanumeric code in databases and compared. The method is preferably carried out directly on the object, that is executed on and on the original and applied and not completed outside of the process of forgery-proofing.
The manual method differs from mass-produced and implemented methods, for example, using micropigments because of its uniqueness in the manufacturing process.
The invention represents in itself a new technical procedure in the counterfeit protection of expertise, documents, paintings and paintings, which is not reproducible in itself, because it by the interaction of all components used - it must also be considered purely accidentally trapped air bubbles - in is unique and can be viewed as a genetic fingerprint. The procedure guarantees each buyer the authenticity of his forgery-proof unique certificate for the examined instrument, picture, painting, antique, jewelery, diamonds and so on. Paintings, pictures and expert reports etc. with the provided seal can no longer be falsified because a) the scanned and photographed security seal is deposited in two exclusively offline databases and b) the same security seal is additionally secured as a microfilm. The process provides clarity and maximum security for business transactions on the basis of credibility. The procedure always preserves the reputation of the expert without any doubt. Every buyer or owner of pictures, paintings, musical instruments, etc., can be sure that his unique piece of art secured by this seal can be clearly identified according to its origin and authenticity and that the deposit of the data is immediately available. Insurances reduce their risk and the risk of theft is considerably minimized. In addition, every secured document can be tracked. The examination of originality is done, for example, by superimposing and directly comparing the random arrangement of the implemented applications and the conformity of the hologram and the verification of the characteristics and the alphanumeric code with the stored in the databases security features of the original security seal according to the described method.

In particular with the
The following is a description of other possible embodiments of the invention.
According to one embodiment, a method for producing a permanent security seal directly on an original document, image, painting, product for the purpose of visibly marking the registration, the authenticity, the origin of the same and improving the security against forgery, comprises a carrier layer on a unique item to be secured Epoxy resin or similar material by hand or by dispenser is applied and by hand, randomly shredded, forgery-proof banknote snippets are sprinkled, which then have a random arrangement and by means of stamping tool with adhesive repellent surface in the carrier layer be pressed. After hardening, the first level of the seal is to be regarded as a unalterable, not fake, unique entity.
In a further development, an explicitly prepared hologram with integrated alphanumeric code is applied to the method on this first level. In addition, shredded hologram particles are scattered by hand, which are also regarded as forgery-proof. They form the second level with the hologram.
Furthermore, the method preferably comprises that the first and the second level are coated and pressed together with a further layer of the carrier material, which completes the seal as a uniting connection and makes it forgery-proof as a sealing element.
According to one embodiment, it is provided that this sealing element with the unique to protect by virtue of its nature and the permanent and immediate application to be secured unique, a closed security seal and this unique offers against unauthorized duplication or counterfeiting the maximum protection.
For example, as a carrier material, a two-component epoxy resin adhesive, self-adhesive polymer plastic, polyester resin or clearcoat can be used.
In addition, it is provided that the material to be secured in the area to be applied can be perforated in order to carry out the same procedure from the rear side. As a result, an explicit document to be secured is inseparably connected to one another by the connection of the seal of the front side and the seal of the back after curing of the support materials and can not be separated without destroying the seal itself and the unique to be protected.
It is advantageous that the seal due to its nature with the substrate material forms a permanent bond and can only be separated by violence.
According to one embodiment, the method is characterized in that partially and substantially actually present particles or strips of in themselves once with counterfeit-proof features - such as holograms, watermarks, security thread, UV threads, Foil strips, pearlescent film, etc. - provided materials such as discarded and shredded banknotes with fluorescent features, stocks, checks, certificates, holograms of various origins, expired tickets, special color printed paper strips, special color printed plastic, newspaper / magazine paper strips, images and Drawings etc. are used.
It is advantageous that implied codes, such as the bar code, the QR code (Quick Response), which can be photographed and seen or read as an image on the PC or Ipad, other codes, such as RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) or microchips into the second level and are part of the security seal.
In the process, the manual process guarantees counterfeiting security because the resulting image, as an independent unique piece, is unique as a DNA and can be compared as an image in the database. The state of the high-tech splitters implied here will remain unaffected in the future and can always be adapted to the respective requirements.
