Ein Mangel dieser bekannten Einrichtung ist die Kompliziertheit der Konstruktion, die mit der Verwendung einer wellenförmigen äußeren Oberfläche des Konfusors, einer Schnitzverbindung des Diffusors mit dem Körper sowie mit der Befestigung des Konfusors innerhalb des Körpers mit Hilfe von Armen und Gelenken verbunden ist. Eine sechsjährige Arbeit der Erfinder der vorliegenden Erfindung mit der Entfernung der Ansätze von Muschelkalk auf der Oberfläche eines Unterwasserteils eines Schiffskörpers mit Hilfe der Hydrokavitation zeigt, dass die Kompliziertheit der Konstruktion der Einrichtung ungerechtfertigt ist und nur zu einem geringen Gewinn in der Macht des Hydrokavitationsprozesses führt. Außerdem ist bei der Schnitzbefestigung des Diffusors an dem Körper zu beobachten, dass diese Befestigung mehrfach zu einem Selbstaufschrauben und Verlust des Diffusors führt. Das Verhältnis des kleinsten Querschnitts des Diffusors zu dem kleinsten Querschnitt des Konfusors ist mit gleich 2 gewählt.
