Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Wirkmasse für ein beim Abbrand der Wirkmasse spektral strahlendes Scheinziel mit einer beim Abbrand der Wirkmasse emittierten Strahlung im Wellenlängenbereich von 3,7 bis 5,1 µm, die mindestens um einen Faktor 15 stärker ist als eine beim Abbrand der Wirkmasse emittierte Strahlung im Wellenlängenbereich von 1,9 bis 2,3 µm, wobei die Wirkmasse als Kohlenstoffatome und Wasserstoffatome enthaltenden Brennstoff mindestens einen Nitratester und/oder ein Nitrosamin und als Oxidationsmittel Ammoniumperchlorat umfasst, wobei die Menge des Ammoniumperchlorats so bemessen ist, dass sie nicht für eine vollständige Oxidation des Brennstoffs ausreicht, wobei die Wirkmasse entweder den Nitratester in Form eines polymeren Feststoffs oder ein Bindemittel umfasst, wobei in dem Brennstoff maximal 5 Kohlenstoffatome durch direkte Bindung miteinander verbunden sind, wobei im Wesentlichen keine elementaren Kohlenstoff enthaltende Kohlenstoffquelle in der Wirkmasse enthalten ist.
