Alternativ kann die Hauptstufe als Load-Sensing-Regler, beispielsweise mit integrierter Druckbegrenzung des Systemdrucks, lastdruckunabhängig betrieben werden, wobei ein Lastdrucksignal wenigstens eines von der Verstellpumpe gespeisten Verbrauchers in die Signaldruckleitung und zum Vorsteuerventil eingespeist wird. B. über den gesamten nutzbaren Druckbereich ein, ehe die Verstellpumpe mechanisch auf Anschlag kommt, um über den gesamten Druckbereich beispielsweise eine gleichbleibende, oder zunehmende oder abnehmende Menge einzuregeln.
