The present invention relates to a customizable seat to adapt said chair to the atmosphere of the place where it is installed.

Presentation of the invention

The purpose of the present invention is therefore to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks and to provide a customizable seat for adapting easily and varied manner said seat to the atmosphere of the place where it is installed. Said seat is customizable quickly without special tools or prior training.

According to the invention, it is therefore proposed a customizable seat comprising at least one frame and a seat supported by said frame, this frame having at least one generally vertical side face and at least one generally horizontal bottom face, at least one of said faces. lateral and possibly lower having at least one personalization member at least partially removable, the personalization member comprising a frame and at least one sheet flexible, stretched on said frame and having at least one pattern on at least a portion of its visible face, said customizable seat being remarkable in that the frame is closed and formed by a rail itself consisting of abutting profiles and in that the web comprises an extensible web.

In a preferred manner, the sheet is removable.

According to a preferred embodiment, the personalization member is clipped onto the frame within at least one of said side and bottom faces.

According to an even more preferred embodiment of the invention, each personalization member comprises at least one quick fastener adapted to cooperate with at least one receiving member of one of the lateral or lower faces.

According to another preferred embodiment, the personalization member is pivotally mounted inside at least one of said lateral and lower faces.

According to an even more specific embodiment of the invention, the frame is able to cooperate with retractable pivoting members of each personalization member and in that the frame comprises at least one quick-release member adapted to cooperate with the personalization member for maintaining the latter in a position substantially parallel to said associated lateral or lower face.

According to another preferred embodiment, the rail comprises at least one open recess adapted to cooperate with a fastening means attached to the periphery of said web and allowing the tight attachment of said flexible web to said frame.

Best way to realize the technical invention

In this example of non-limiting execution, a customizable seat of the chair type comprising a seat, a backrest and armrests will be described. However, the customizable seat can obviously be of any other type and may not have a backrest and be of the chair or stool type. Similarly, the customizable seat can also be bench or bench type on which one or more people can sit at the same time.

With reference to Figures 1 and 2 , the customizable seat 1 according to the invention comprises a frame 2, at least one seat 3 and a backrest 4 supported by said frame 2. Said frame 2 is advantageously a tubular structure made from mechanically welded assembled tubes and present at at least one generally vertical lateral face and at least one generally horizontal bottom face, said lateral and / or bottom faces comprising a personalization member 5 at least partially removable. The term "globally" should be understood to mean here that said side and bottom faces are at least partly vertically and horizontally, respectively, because said faces are not only planar surfaces and may be left surfaces.

Preferably, the frame 2 of the customizable seat 1 is made from tubes of square section and has a left lateral face 6, a rear lateral face 7, a right lateral face 8 and a lower face 9, each of said lateral faces 6, 7, 8 and possibly lower 9 having a personalization member 5. Indeed, it is understood that it is interesting that the lower face 9 comprises a personalization member 5 that if said lower face 9 is visible and therefore that if the seat customizable 1 is for example installed on a transparent floor made with glass plates for example.

Each personalization member 5 comprises a frame 51 advantageously closed and formed by a rail itself consisting of abutting profiles and a ply 52 advantageously flexible stretched on said frame 51, said web 52 comprising a fabric 53 advantageously extensible and a hooking means 54 fixed to the periphery of said fabric 53 and allowing the tight attachment of said web 52 to said frame 51.

The fabric 53 is advantageously made from sheet made of a polymer material such as polyvinyl chloride, said material being provided with numerous qualities such as, in particular: fire resistance, airtightness, dust or humidity, ease of maintenance, etc. Said fabric 53 has at least one pattern 55 on at least a portion of the visible face of the web 52, said pattern 55 being able to be painted or printed by the technique of screen printing or any other suitable technique. On the figure 1 there is shown a flower-shaped pattern, it is understood that said pattern 55 may in any other form and even cover the entire surface of the fabric 53.

However, the web 52 may be made from a rigid material such as, for example, glass, wood or polycarbonate, without departing from the present invention. Then, said ply 52 of rigid material will comprise at least one pattern 55 on at least a portion of its visible face and will be fixed on the frame 51 by any suitable means such as gluing, nailing or stapling, for example.

Similarly, the fabric 53 may not be extensible and be made from other polymeric material such as polyester or other textile fiber material for example, without departing from the present invention. said canvas 53 extensible or not can then be fixed on the frame 51 by any suitable means such as gluing, nailing or stapling, for example.

According to a preferred embodiment, the frame 51 is formed of a rail having the shape of that represented on the figure 2 . Thus, said smooth is of generally square section and comprises at least one outer flange 511, which preferably extends substantially perpendicular to said ply 52, when stretched on said frame 51. From this outer flange 511 is issued, to about halfway up, an inner core 512 extending a short distance towards the inside of said frame 51 of the personalization member 5. Finally, in order not to damage the ply 52 and its peripheral fastening means 54, the inner vertical flange 513 and the shoulder 516 advantageously have a rounded free end.

Similarly, to facilitate the establishment of the ply 52, the shoulder may include a cutaway (not shown) to facilitate the insertion of the attachment means 54 of said ply 52 in the recess 517 of the smooth .

To facilitate handling of the frame 51 while ensuring its durability over time, the arm is preferably made from extruded profiles of square, rectangular or round section made of light alloy such as for example an aluminum alloy.

The sheet 52 thus comprises a gripping means 54 advantageously a harpoon having a hook shape adapted to cooperate with the rail engaging in its recess 517. Thus, said attachment means 54 comprises an inner branch 541 by which it is attached to the extensible web 53 of the web 52 and an outer branch 542 in the form of a bead at the curved end curved towards said extensible cloth 53. Said inner and outer legs 541, 542 are advantageously made of material.

Once inserted in the recess 516 of the rail, said attachment means 54 then bears on the shoulder 516 with the free end of its branch external 542 and allows to maintain taut the web 52 only bearing on the peripheral support 515 formed by the free end of the inner wing 513 of the smooth.

According to a first embodiment with reference to the figure 3 each personalization member 15 comprises a frame 151 advantageously closed and formed by a rail itself consisting of abutting profiles and a ply 152 advantageously flexible stretched on said frame 151, said web 152 comprising a fabric 153 advantageously extensible and being similar to the web 52 previously described.

The frame 151 is formed of a bar having the shape of that represented on the figure 3 . Thus, said rail is formed of a tube 154 of generally square section on which is fixed, by any suitable means, a clipping profile 155 comprising at least one longitudinal internal recess 1551 in the overall shape of U extending preferably substantially perpendicularly said ply 152, an opening 1552 opening on one side to the outside and the other in said recess 1551 and at least one flexible lip 1553 at least partially closing said opening 1552.

The tube 154 further comprises a quick fastener 10 advantageously clips type adapted to cooperate with a receiving member 81 of one of the side faces 6, 7, 8 or lower 9 to removably fasten said frame 51 on the frame 2 advantageously inside said faces 6, 7, 8, 9.

To fix the ply 152 on the frame 151 in accordance with the figure 3 , the peripheral edge of said ply 152, which has no attachment means, is inserted, by means of a setting tool, into the recess 1551 of said clipping profile 155 through the opening 1552 by pushing on the free end of flexible lip 1553. When removing the laying tool, the web 152 is held by the clamp formed by one of the edges of the opening 1552 and the free end of the flexible lip 1553.

It is well understood that the previously described configurations make it possible, on the one hand, to change or interchange easily and quickly, without special tools, the personalization member 5 of each of the lateral faces 6, 7, 8 or lower 9 and, on the other hand, to easily and quickly change the web 52, 152 on the frame 51, 151, and customize to perfection the customizable seat 1 according to the invention.

Description of other embodiments

According to a second variant embodiment shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, each personalization member 25 is pivotally mounted around a median axis 26 advantageously vertical inside, in particular, one of the lateral faces 6, 7, 8 or lower 9 .

In order to keep the character removable, each personalization member advantageously has retractable pivoting members (not shown) capable of cooperating with chassis housings 2 of the customizable seat 1 (not shown) to allow, on the one hand, the assembly and the pivoting of each personalization member 25 inside the frame 2 of the customizable seat 1 and, on the other hand, the dismantling of each personalization member 25.

In addition, the latter comprises a frame 251 advantageously closed and formed by a rail itself consisting of abutting profiles and an advantageously flexible ply 252 stretched on said frame 251, said ply 252 comprising a fabric 253 advantageously extensible and being similar to the tablecloth 152 previously described.

The frame 251 is formed of a bar having the shape of that shown in FIG. 5. Thus, said bar is formed of a tube 254 of generally square section on which is fixed, by any appropriate means, at least one profile of clipping device 255 comprising at least one U-shaped longitudinal internal recess 2551 extending preferably substantially perpendicular to said ply 252, an opening 2552 opening on one side to the outside and the other in said recess 2551 and at least one flexible lip 2553 at least partially closing said opening 2552.

The tube 254 further comprises a quick fastener 10 advantageously clip type adapted to cooperate with a receiving member 81 of one of the side faces 6, 7, 8 or lower 9, to removably fasten said frame 51 on the frame 2 advantageously inside said faces 6, 7, 8, 9.

In order to fix the ply 252 on the frame 251 according to FIG. 5, the peripheral edge of said ply 252, which has no attachment means, is inserted, by means of a placing tool, into the recess 2551 of said clipping profile 255 through the opening 2552 pushing on the free end of the flexible lip 1553. When removing the laying tool, the web 252 is held by the clamp formed by one of the edges of the opening 2552 and the free end of the flexible lip 2553.

Preferably, the frame 251 comprises two clipping profiles 255 fixed on either side of said tube 254 and therefore each personalization member 25 comprises two plies 252 stretched on either side of said frame 251. Thus, when the personalization member 25 pivots about its median axis 26, one or the other of the two plies 252 is then visible, which makes it easy to customize the customizable seat 1 according to the invention.

Similarly, it is understood that after the pivoting of each personalization member 25, it is necessary to immobilize the latter so that one or other of the two webs 252 is visible. Thus, the customizable seat 1 comprises at least one quick release member 21 adapted to cooperate with the personalization member 25 to maintain the latter in a position substantially parallel to said side faces 6, 7, 8 and possibly lower 9 customizable seat 9 This quick release member 21 is preferably of the ball spring type.

Finally, it is clear that in this second embodiment, to be able to rotate the personalization members 25, it is necessary that the seat 3 and the backrest 4 are removable.

According to a third variant embodiment not shown, the frame of each personalization member is fixed on the customizable seat frame and only the sheet is removable, said sheet can then be rigid or flexible and comprise an extensible fabric or not provided with or without a device hooking means.

According to a fourth variant embodiment not shown, each personalization member is backlit with, for example, light sources of LED type (Light-Emitting Diode) in solidarity with said personalization member or light sources of type neon tubes integral with customizable seat frame. The light source can also be placed inside the frame included in the personalization member.

Possibility of industrial application

The customizable seat 1 according to the invention is armchair type preference. However, said customizable seat 1 can obviously be of any other type and may have no backrest and be of the chair or stool type. Similarly, the customizable seat can also be bench or bench type on which one or more people can sit at the same time. In addition, it is clear from the description that the customizable seat 1 according to the invention is light and simple construction, and can be easily customized without special tools to adapt to the atmosphere of the place where it is. installed.

Claims (9)

1. A customizable seat (1) comprising at least a framework (2) and a seat part (3) supported by said framework (2), with such framework (2) having at least one globally vertical lateral surface (6, 7, 8) and at least one globally horizontal lower surface (9), with at least one of said lateral and optionally lower (6, 7, 8, 9) surfaces comprising at least one at least partly removable customizing member (5, 15, 25), with the customizing member (5, 15, 25) comprising a frame (51, 151, 251) and at least one flexible sheet (52, 152, 252) stretched over said frame (51, 151, 251) and having at least one pattern (55) on at least a part of its visible surface, with said customizable seat (1) being characterized in that the frame (51, 151, 251) is closed and formed by a rail which itself consists of butt-jointed profiles and in that the sheet (52, 152, 252) comprises an extensible web (53, 153, 253).
2. A customizable seat (1) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the sheet (52, 152, 252) is removable.
3. A customizable seat (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the customizing member (5, 15) is clipped onto the framework (2) inside at least one of said lateral and lower surfaces (6, 7, 8, 9).
4. A customizable seat (1) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the customizing member (5) has at least one quick-fastening member (10) able to cooperate with at least one receiving member (81) of one of the lateral or lower surfaces (6, 7, 8, 9) .
5. A customizable seat (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 2, characterized in that the customizing member (25) is pivotally mounted inside at least one of said lateral and lower surfaces (6, 7, 8, 9).
6. A customizable seat (1) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the framework (2) is able to cooperate with retractable pivoting members of each customizing member (5) and in that the framework (2) comprises at least one quick-locking member (21) able to cooperate with the customizing member (25) to hold the latter in a position substantially parallel to said lateral or lower surface (6, 7, 8, 9) associated therewith.
7. A customizable seat (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the rail comprises at least one open recess (517) able to cooperate with a hooking means (54) fixed to the periphery of said web (53) and enabling the stretched fastening of said flexible sheet (52) on said frame (51).

A customizable seat (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the rail is formed of a tube (154, 254), whereon at least one snap-fastening profile (155, 255) is attached, comprising at least one generally U-shaped longitudinal internal recess (1551, 2551) preferably extending substantially perpendicularly to said sheet (152, 252), with one aperture (1552, 2552) opening on one side outside, and on the other side inside said recess (1551, 2551) and at least one flexible lip (1553, 2553) at least partially closing said aperture (1552, 2552) and forming, with said aperture (1552, 2552), a clamp to keep the sheet stretched (152, 252).
9. A customizable seat (1) according to the preceding claim, characterized in that each frame (251) comprises two clipping profiles (255) fixed on either side of said tube (254) and in that each customizing member (25) comprises two sheets (252) stretched on either side of said frame (251).
