Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Handhabung eines der optischen Personalisierung von Datenträgern dienenden Bandes (6), insbesondere eines Farbbandes, mit einem ersten Bevorratungsmodul (8) für einen ersten Bandabschnitt des Bandes, mit einem zweiten Bevorratungsmodul (9) für einen zweiten Bandabschnitt des Bandes und mit einer ersten Antriebseinheit (13) zum Zuführen des Bandes (6) zu dem zweiten Bevorratungsmodul (9), wobei das Band vor der Verwendung desselben für die optische Personalisierung der Datenträger in dem ersten Bevorratungsmodul (8) gespeichert ist und wobei das Band nach der Verwendung desselben für die optische Personalisierung der Datenträger in dem zweiten Bevorratungsmodul (9) gespeichert ist, wobei ein Vernichtungsmodul (10) zur Zerstörung des Bandes (6) nach der Verwendung desselben zur optischen Personalisierung der Datenträger und eine zweite Antriebseinheit (17) vorgesehen sind, wobei mittels der zweiten Antriebseinheit (17) das Band durch eine Auslassöffnung (27) des zweiten Bevorratungsmoduls (9) aus dem zweiten Bevorratungsmodul (9) entnehmbar und dem Vernichtungsmodul (10) zuführbar ist.
