Claims (13)
- An apparatus for a crossed connection of two slats (9, 9'), in particular slats (9, 9') of a support system (25) for spring elements (27) of a mattress or undermattress, comprising
a base element (3), in particular configured in the manner of a plate, wherein a first mount (7) for a first slat (9) is formed at a side (5) of the base element (3) into which first mount the first slat (9) can be inserted from this side; and
wherein a second mount (13) is formed at a side (11) of the base element (3) into which second mount a second slat (9') can be inserted such that it extends crossed with respect to the first slat (9) inserted into the first mount (7); and
wherein locking means (21) are provided by which the two slats (9, 9') can be fixed in the two mounts (7, 13),
characterised in that
the second slat (9') can be inserted into the second mount (13) from the side (11) at which the second mount (13) is formed at the base element (3); and
in that the two mounts (7, 13) are formed at sides (5, 11) of the base element (3) which face away from one another. - An apparatus in accordance with claim 1,
characterised in that
the two mounts (7, 13) are arranged with mirror symmetry to a central plane (15) disposed between the sides (5, 11) facing away from one another and are arranged rotated by 90° with respect to one another relative to an axis (17) extending perpendicular to the central plane (15). - An apparatus in accordance with one of the preceding claims,
characterised in that
the locking means (21) are releasably connectable to the base element (3). - An apparatus in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,

the locking means (21) can be fixed to the base element (3) while forming a clamping connection or latching connection, in particular such that the slats are clamped between the mounts (7, 13) of the base element (3) and the locking means (21). - An apparatus in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,

the locking means (21) are formed by at least one locking piece. - An apparatus in accordance with claim 5,

the mounts (7, 13) each have two attachments (19) whose spacing at least approximately corresponds to the width of one slat (9, 9'), with the locking piece (21) being placed onto the attachments (19) of at least one of the two mounts (7, 13) in the manner of a bridge and, preferably, being able to be fixed at the attachments (15) by means of a rotational movement. - An apparatus in accordance with claim 6,
characterised in that
the locking piece (21) can be fixed at the mount (7, 13) by means of a bayonet fastening formed between the attachments (19) and the locking piece (21),
wherein, preferably, projections are formed at the attachments (19) and complementary formed undercuts are formed at the locking piece (21), or vice versa, with the undercuts forming the bayonet fastening together with the projections (23). - An apparatus in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
characterised in that
means are provided for connecting the apparatus (1) to at least one spring element (27). - An apparatus in accordance with claim 8,
characterised in that
the means are provided at the locking piece (21). - An apparatus in accordance with claim 9,
characterised in that
at least one spring element (27) is attached to the locking piece (21), wherein, preferably, the locking piece (21) and the spring element (27) are formed in one piece with one another,
wherein, further preferably, the locking piece (21) forms a base of the spring element (27) at which a spring body (29) is formed which extends between the base and a top plate (31) of the spring element (27); and
wherein, even further preferably, the top plate (31) is formed as a separate part. - An apparatus in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
characterised in that
at least one respective spring element (27) is or can be attached to the one side (5) and to the side (11) of the apparatus (1) disposed opposite the one side (5). - An apparatus in accordance with any one of the preceding claims,
characterised in that
the base element (3) has a throughgoing opening (33) in particular disposed at the centre and extending perpendicular to the one side (5). - A support system for spring elements (27) of a mattress or undermattress having slats (9, 9') arranged in the manner of a grid, wherein the slats (9, 9') are connected to one another at their points of intersection by a respective apparatus (1) in accordance with any one of the preceding claims.
