Zur Energieversorgung ist im dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel ferner ein Akku 18 vorgesehen. Wenn das Presswerkzeug z. B. mit Pressbacken verbunden ist, erfolgt das Auslösen des Pressvorgangs durch Betätigen eines Starttasters 20 (Fig. 2), der unter einem transparenten Gehäusedeckel 22 angeordnet ist. Der Starttaster 20 ist im dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel unmittelbar auf einer die Steuereinrichtung ausbildenden Steuerplatine 24 angeordnet. Bei dem Starttaster 20 handelt es sich im dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel nicht um einen Schalter wie einen Kippschalter, sondern um einen federnd gelagerten Taster. Durch einmaliges Drücken des Starttasters 20 wird somit beispielsweise ein vollständiger Pressvorgang ausgelöst. Das Stoppen des Pressvorgangs erfolgt vorzugsweise automatisch wenn der Pressvorgang abgeschlossen ist, wenn der Starttaster losgelassen wird oder wenn eine Störung auftritt. Um den Starttaster auf einfache Weise mit Hilfe des Gehäusedeckels betätigen zu können, könnte der Gehäusedeckel 22 beispielsweise über ein Gelenk oder elastisch federnd mit dem Gehäuse 10 verbunden sein. Im dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel weist der Gehäusedeckel 22 hierzu einen Schwenkansatz mit zwei Schwenkfüßen 26 auf. Die Schwenkfüße 26 ragen, bezogen auf eine Oberseite des Tasters 22, nach unten und sind im dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel gekrümmt ausgebildet und insbesondere in einander gegenüberliegende Schienen 30 geführt.The tools are arranged in a tool holder 14. Claims (13)

  1. A hand-operated pressing tool, in particular for producing pipe connections, for pressing cable lugs, and/or for actuating cutting jaws, comprising
    a drive device (12, 16) arranged in a housing (10),
    an energy source (18) connected to the drive device (12, 16),
    a start button (20) arranged under a housing cover (22), and
    a display device (44) arranged under the housing cover (22).
  2. The hand-operated pressing tool according to claim 1, characterized in that the housing cover (22) is transparent at least partially in the region of the display device (44) and that the display device (44) preferably comprises light indicators.
  3. The hand-operated pressing tool according to claim 1 or 2, characterized by a control device (24) formed particularly as a control board, said control device being arranged under the housing cover (22).
  4. The hand-operated pressing tool according to claim 3, characterized in that the start button (20) and/or the display device (44) are connected directly with the control device (24) and particularly are arranged directly on the control board.
  5. The hand-operated pressing tool according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the housing cover (22) comprises light-conducting elements (46) arranged above the light indicators (44).
  6. The hand-operated pressing tool according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that, for actuating the start button (20), the housing cover (22) is resiliently held on the housing (10).
  7. The hand-operated pressing tool according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the housing cover (22) comprises a swivel projection (26) for allowing a swivel movement for actuating the start button (20).
  8. The hand-operated pressing tool according to claim 6 or 7, characterized in that the housing cover (22) comprises a spring projection (38) for pressing back the housing cover (22) after actuation of the start button (20).
  9. The hand-operated pressing tool according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the housing cover (22) is partially, particularly by the swivel projection (26) and the spring projection (38), arranged in a housing bin (52).
  10. The hand-operated pressing tool according to claim 9, characterized in that said housing bin (52) is formed by a housing wall (54) and the control board (24).
  11. The hand-operated pressing tool according to claim 9 or 10, characterized in that the housing cover (22) is displaceably arranged in the housing bin (52).
