- the cleaning members consist of rubber strips. They are preferably manufactured from rubber of a quality which corresponds to windshield wiper rubber. According to a preferred embodiment three such cleaning strips are fastened onto the floating body, suitably glued to the periphery of the floating body.

- the cleaning strips can be manufactured from other materials, such as a plastic material, and they could also have different designs without deviating from the basic inventive thought.

- This pipe/rod has preferably a pointed end 11, in order to facilitate the insertion of the pipe through the hole 6 in the angled pipe.
- This locking pipe/rod also acts as a stiffener of the floating body with the cleaning strips arranged thereon. In case the above mentioned pipe insulation is used, this function is of a minor importance, but this locking pipe/rod makes it possible to use materials with substantially less natural stiffness if desired.
- a person might stand comfortably on a, preferably low, bridge 12 with the boat lying about 1 meter from the bridge, as is illustrated in Fig. 4 .
- the cleaner with its floating body has been forced down into the water and is underneath the bottom of the boat, the floating body will press at least one cleaning member 4 against the bottom of the boat, and by moving the cleaner back and forth all fouling is effectively removed from the bottom.
- the cleaner might be moved using only one hand back and forth without requiring the application of any substantial force. Tests in reality show that all fouling including shells are removed without demanding any force in addition to the force resulting from the upward force of the floating body.
- the locking element can be of any suitable type, such as a pipe or rod made of plastic, wood or even metal.
- the shaft need not be telescopic, and even a shaft made of wood having a suitable means for attachment of the angled pipe would serve its purpose.
- the shaft is designed with a knee joint 14. As is indicated in Fig. 5 , with this design a person 15 standing on board of the boat 16 to be cleaned and with the knee joint free to move, the shaft will be angled and the upward force of the floating body 3 will press a cleaning member against the bottom of the boat and follow its outline. When cleaning a keel, which extends substantially vertically, the knee joint might be locked in a desired position in order to facilitate the claning of the keel.
- an upper bandler or shaft part 1' suitably can be about 1 m long and that the further shaft or handle part 1", which also carries the floating body, can be about 1.40 m long.
- the form of the angled pipe is an expedient design, which facilitates handling when cleaning curved bottoms, which at the same time works as well with planar bottoms.
- the locking element for locking the floating body onto the angled element is a conventional plastic pipe which normally is used for placing electrical conductors in walls in buildings etc. They can easily be cut into the appropriate lengths, and it is also quite easy to provide a pointed end, in order to facilitate the introduction of the pipe into the hole in the angled pipe being in alignment with the longitudinal channel in the floating body.
- the upward force can be varied, and this can also be achieved by varying the dimensions of the floating body, without waiving the simplicity or cost structure of the cleaner according to the invention.

Claims (6)
- Reiniger für den Boden zu Wasser gelassener Schiffe, umfassend einen Schwimmkörper (3), eine Welle (1) und ein Winkelstück (2), das zwischen dem Schwimmkörper (3) und der Welle (1) angeordnet ist, sowie Reinigungselemente (4), die auf dem Schwimmkörper angeordnet sind,
wobei der Schwimmkörper (3) zylindrisch mit einem zentralen Längskanal (10) ist, und wobei das Winkelstück (2) ein Rohr ist, das in einem Winkel von etwa 90° gebogen ist, wobei ein Ende davon angeordnet ist, um ein Ende der Welle (1) aufzunehmen, und das andere Ende zur Verbindung mit dem Schwimmkörper (3) ausgelegt ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es ein Schließ- und Stabilisierungselement (9) in Form eines Rohres oder einer Stange mit einem Durchmesser umfasst, der dem Durchmesser des zentralen Längskanals (10) in dem Schwimmkörper (3) entspricht,
und dadurch, dass das andere Ende des Winkelstücks (2) mit einer Durchgangsöffnung (6) bereitgestellt ist, die einen Durchmesser aufweist, der dem Durchmesser des zentralen Längskanals (10) des Schwimmkörpers (3) entspricht, und
dadurch, dass der Schwimmkörper (3) eine radiale Öffnung (8) aufweist, die in einem zentralen Bereich davon angeordnet ist, wobei sich die radiale Öffnung von der äußeren Oberfläche des zylindrischen Körpers zum zentralen Längskanal (10) erstreckt und wobei die radiale Öffnung zum Aufnehmen des anderen Endes des Winkelstücks (2) ausgelegt ist, wobei die Durchgangsöffnung (6) davon mit dem zentralen Längskanal (10) des Schwimmkörpers (3) ausgerichtet angeordnet ist, wenn das andere Ende des Winkelstücks (2) vollständig in die radiale Öffnung (8) eingeführt ist, sodass das Winkelstück und der Schwimmkörper in einer einfachen und sicheren Art und Weise durch Einführen bzw. Entfernen des Verriegelungs- und Stabilisierungselements (9) in den bzw. von dem zentralen Längskanal (10) durch die Durchgangsöffnung (6) miteinander verriegelt bzw. voneinander gelöst werden können. - Reiniger nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schwimmkörper (3) aus einem Stück Rohrisolierung mit einem Durchmesser von etwa 75 mm besteht, wobei ein zentraler Kanal einen Durchmesser von etwa 18 mm und eine Länge von etwa 500 mm aufweist.
- Reiniger nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Reinigungselemente (4) aus Gummileisten mit einer oder mehreren scharfen Kanten zum Lagern an dem zu reinigenden Schiffsboden bestehen.
- Reiniger nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass drei Gummileisten gleichmäßig verteilt in Winkeln von 90, 180 bzw. 270° in Bezug auf die radiale Öffnung (8) in den Schwimmkörper (3) geklebt werden.
- Reiniger nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Welle (1) aus- und einfahrbar ist.
- Reiniger nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Welle (1) ein Kniegelenk (14) aufweist, das einen oberen Wellenteil (1') mit einem unteren Wellenteil (1") verbindet, und dadurch, dass der Reiniger mit einem beweglichen Kniegelenk zum Reinigen des Bodens eines Schiffes von einer Person (15) verwendet werden kann, die an Bord des Bootes (16) steht, während das Kniegelenk gleichzeitig verriegelt werden kann, um z. B. einen im Wesentlichen vertikalen Kiel zu reinigen.
