Abstract

A trigger assembly (102) includes a trigger shoe (116) configured to disengage a sear to release a firing mechanism (216) in response to force applied by a user. The trigger assembly further includes a blocking mechanism (212)configured to selectively prevent the release of the firing mechanism in response to a control signal.
