Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Gefahrenmelder (1) zur Überwachung von dessen Umgebung im Hinblick auf eine Gefahrengröße, mit wenigstens einem Sensorelement (2), welches wenigstens einen Gassensor (3, 4) aufweist, der eine Konzentration von Partikeln eines Gases in der Umgebungsluft des Gefahrenmelders (1) misst, wobei das Sensorelement (2) im Innern einer zumindest bereichsweise für die Partikel durchlässigen Elementhülle (7) angeordnet ist, durch welche die Partikel vor ihrer Erfassung durch den wenigstens einen Gassensor (3, 4) treten. Um einen Gefahrenmelder (1) zur Verfügung zu haben, mittels dessen mit geringem Aufwand feststellbar ist, ob der wenigstens eine Gassensor (3, 4) des Sensorelements durch die von ihm zu erfassenden Partikel im wesentlichen ungehindert erreichbar ist, ist das Sensorelement 2 mit wenigstens einem weiteren Sensor (5, 6) zur gemeinsamen Anordnung mit dem wenigstens einen Gassensor (3, 4) innerhalb der Elementhülle (7) vorgesehen, der wenigstens eine weitere Sensor (5, 6) erfasst eine von der Partikelkonzentration des Gases verschiedene Messgröße, anhand von deren Schwankungsbreite der Gefahrenmelder (1) die Durchlässigkeit des durchlässigen Bereichs (8) der Elementhülle (7) beurteilt.
