Durch die gemäß Anspruch 1 ausgeführte Erfindung wird erreicht, dass durch den Verschluss einerseits eine Hohlwelle verschlossen ist und andererseits durch einen am Verschluss einstückig angeformten Kragen die Hohlwelle übergriffen wird, wodurch ein an einem Außenumfang der Antriebswelle angeordneter Sicherungsring gegen Aufweiten gesichert wird. Als geeignete Geometrien für einen Formschluss haben sich eine oder mehrere Nuten erwiesen, die beispielsweise als steigungsfreie, einfach umlaufende Nut oder rechts- bzw. linksdrehende Gewinde oder steigungsfreie Mehrfachrillung erwiesen. Je nach Drehrichtung des Startermotors bzw. der Brennkraftmaschine dient ein rechts- bzw. linksdrehendes Gewinde der Selbstsicherung des Verschlusses. Eine einfach umlaufende Nut hat sich besonders bei metallischen Deckeln als Verschluss als haltbar erwiesen. In diesem Fall wird beispielsweise ein metallischer Napf in die Öffnung gesetzt und die zylindrische Seitenwand in einer auf die Nut abgestimmten Tiefe umlaufend ausgebeult und dadurch eingewalzt. Alternativ kann auch ein Deckel mittels einer Schnappverbindung in eine umlaufende Nut eingeschnappt werden. Eine steigungsfreie Mehrfachrillung ist besonders in Kombination mit einem Kunststoffdeckel geünstig, da sich dann das Material des Deckels in die Rillen eingräbt und ein guter Halt ermöglicht wird.A particularly simple fastening of the closure is achieved by fastening by means of a form fit or force fit.
