Abstract

A cooling device (S) of the invention comprises at least one door (K) which moves in depth direction (+X - -X), at least one door handle (M) which is provided on the door (K); at least one connection element (1) to which the door handle (M) is fixed via at least one fixing element (4), which is engaged to the door (K) by at least one pin (1a), which is able to move around this pin (1a) in radial direction (+R - -R); at least one door tongue (3) which is engaged to the door (K) in depth direction (+X - -X), which projects from a wall (K1) of the door (K) close to the cooling device (S) and which comprises at least one tongue protrusion (3a) which contacts with at least one rest protrusion (1 b) provided on the connection element (1) at the same side with the door handle (M) with respect to the rotation axis of the pin (1a).

Description

    Technical Field
  • The present invention relates to door mechanisms of the cooling devices.
  • Prior Art
  • The cooling devices of the state of the art can comprise doors which are openable by horizontally sliding. Said doors particularly used in freezer compartments can be engaged to the drawers in the device; therefore the user is ensured to reach to the foods in the compartment.
  • However, said doors can be opened hard due to the vacuum occurred because of the cooling inside the device. Thus; said door positioned particularly at lower parts of the device cannot provide ergonomics and forces the user.
  • Patent document no DE19532182A1 , which discloses an embodiment for solving said problems, discloses a cooling device having easily openable doors. In said device, an air channel extending from inside the device to outer environment prevents vacuum occurrence in the inner environment by ensuring air intake from the outer environment to inside. However, the cooling performance of the device is decreased by said embodiment.
  • Brief Description of the Invention
  • A cooling device of the invention comprises at least one door which moves in depth direction, at least one door handle which is provided on the door; at least one connection element to which the door handle is fixed via at least one fixing element, which is engaged to the door by at least one pin, which is able to move around this pin in radial direction; at least one door tongue which is engaged to the door in depth direction, which projects from a wall of the door close to the cooling device and which comprises at least one tongue protrusion which contacts with at least one rest protrusion provided on the connection element at the same side with the door handle with respect to the rotation axis of the pin.
  • It is ensured in the cooling device of the invention that the door is pushed out of the device by means of the force exerted by the user on the door handle; and thus the door is easily opened.
  • Objectives of the Invention
  • An aim of the invention is to develop a cooling device with sliding door.
  • The other aim of the invention is to develop a cooling device comprising a sliding door which is able to be opened easily by holding the door handle.
  • Another aim of the invention is to develop a practical and reliable cooling device which is easy to use and cost effective to produce.

    Description of the Invention
  • The cooling device (S) of the invention, whose perspective view is shown in figure 1, comprises at least one door (K) which can move by sliding in depth direction (in +X - -X direction). At least one door handle (M) is provided on the door (K) for moving the door (K).
  • Figure 2 shows a side sectional view of the door (K) located in the cooling device (S) of the present invention. In the device (S) of the invention, the door handle (M) is fixed to at least one connection element (1) located in a slot (H) inside the door (K) via at least one fixing element (4). The connection element (1) is engaged to the door (K) by at least one pin (1a), and the connection element (1) and thus the door handle (M) are able to move around this pin (1 a) in radial direction (in +R - -R direction).
  • The door (K) comprises at least one door tongue (3) which is engaged to the door (K) in depth direction (in +X - -X direction) and which projects from a wall (K1) of the door (K) close to the cooling device (S). The door tongue (3) can exert pushing force in the opening direction (in +X direction) on the door (K) by moving towards the cooling device (S). The door tongue (3) comprises at least one tongue protrusion (3a) which contacts with at least one rest protrusion (1 b) provided on the connection element (1) at the same side with the door handle (M) with respect to the rotation axis of the pin (1a). Therefore the movement of the door handle (M) and the connection element (1) in radial direction (in +R - -R direction) is transferred to the door tongue (3a) by being converted into linear motion. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the tongue protrusion (3a) is placed among a plurality of rest protrusions (1b) located on the connection element (1). Therefore, the movements in radial direction are able to be transferred to the door tongue (3) in a bi-directional way.
  • In a preferred embodiment of the invention, at least one stopping surface (H1) limiting the movement of the connection element (1) inside the slot (H) is provided. In this embodiment, the movement of the connection element (1) is limited by means of resting of the rest protrusions (1b) located in the connection element (1) on the stopping surfaces (H1). Therefore, even if too much force is exerted by the user, displacement of the connection element (1) is prevented.
  • When the door handle (M) is moved upwards (in +R direction) by being hold in the cooling device (S) of the invention, the connection element (1) pushes the door tongue (3) towards the cooling device (S), and thus ensures that the door (K) moves away from the cooling device (S). Preferably at least one flexible element (2) located on the pin (1a) brings the handle (M) in its former position (M) after the handle (M) is released; and therefore it is ensured that the door tongue (3) is drawn in the door (K). Thus, easy opening of the door (K) by means of the buoyancy exerted on the handle (M) is ensured.
  • Easy opening of the sliding-type doors (K) in the cooling device (S) of the invention is ensured.

Claims (4)

  1. A cooling device (S) comprising at least one door (K) which moves in depth direction (+X - -X) and at least one door handle (M) which is provided on the door (K) characterized by comprising
    - at least one connection element (1) to which the door handle (M) is fixed via at least one fixing element (4), which is engaged to the door (K) by at least one pin (1a), which is able to move around this pin (1a) in radial direction (+R - -R);
    - at least one door tongue (3) which is engaged to the door (K) in depth direction (+X - -X), which projects from a wall (K1) of the door (K) close to the cooling device (S) and which comprises at least one tongue protrusion (3a) which contacts with at least one rest protrusion (1b) provided on the connection element (1) at the same side with the door handle (M) with respect to the rotation axis of the pin (1a).
  2. A cooling device (S) according to claim 1 characterized by comprising at least one flexible element (2) located on the pin (1a).
  3. A cooling device (S) according to claim 1 characterized in that the tongue protrusion (3a) is placed among a plurality of rest protrusions (1b) located on the connection element (1).
  4. A cooling device (S) according to claim 1 characterized by comprising at least one stopping surface (H1) limiting the movement of the connection element (1) inside the slot (H) by means of resting of the rest protrusions (1b).
