Der Flansch 25 ist bevorzugt nicht kreisringförmig, sondern an zwei Seitenbereichen abgeflacht, so dass Stecker mit einem geringeren Platzbedarf verwendet werden können und mehrere Stecker auf einfache Weise in einer Mehrfachbuchse nebeneinander montierbar sind. Dabei wird die im nicht eingesteckten Zustand gemäß Fig. 1 über den starren Anlagebereich 14 des Befestigungsflansches 4 geringfügig vorstehende Flächendichtung 17 zusammengedrückt, so dass der starre Anlagebereich 14 fest an der Anlagefläche 10 anliegt. Ebenfalls zusammengedrückt wird die vorstehende Formdichtung 27, die dadurch eine absolut wasserdichte Abdichtung im Übergangsbereich zwischen Stecker und Steckerbuchse 9 schafft. Dies wird noch verstärkt, wenn der Grundkörper 1 wie bevorzugt und in Fig. 3 zu sehen an seiner den Dichtelement 7 zugewandten Vorderseite einen der Form der Formdichtung 27 folgenden Vorsprung 31 aufweist, durch den Formdichtung 27 noch fester angepresst wird. Auch wenn die Befestigungsverschraubung ungleichmäßig oder einseitig zu fest angezogen wird, kann dabei wegen des starren Anlagebereiches 14 kein Verkanten des Steckers und keine daraus resultierende Undichtigkeit erfolgen. Da über die erfindungsgemäßen Stecker auf einfache Weise absolut wasserdichte elektrische Verbindungen geschaffen werden können, ist es bei den erfindungsgemäßen entsprechenden Boxen 12 nicht nötig, Öffnungen vorzusehen, bei denen Kabel vor Ort montiert und angeklemmt werden, wie es bei vorbekannten Verteiler- oder Verbindungssystemen der Fall ist. Die in Fig. 8 dargestellte Box 12 dient der Aufnahme und Weiterleitung von elektrischen Steuerspannungen. Diese werden in die Box 12 über die Eingangsbuchse 9' eingespeist und verlassen sie über die rückseitige Ausgangsbuchse 9" zu einem daran angeschlossenen Gerät, beispielsweise zu einer Pumpe oder einem Wasserspiel. Über die weitere, vorderseitige Ausgangsbuchse 9" können Signale durchgeschleift und an eine sich daran anschließende weitere Verteilerbox weitergeleitet werden.   1.   2. Plug connection assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the sealing element (7) is exchangeably held on the main body (2).
  3. Plug connection assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the contact carrier (5) comprises at least one coding projection (45) and/or at least one coding recess (55).
  4. Plug connection assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the contact carrier (5) comprises at least one guide projection (15) for guiding said contact carrier on the main body (1).
  5. Plug connection assembly according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the contact carrier (5) comprises a contact flange (25) for contacting a defined stop (11) on the main body (1).
