Hearing aids are portable hearing aids that are used to care for the hearing impaired. Hearing aids are worn on the head. So they are constantly exposed to the sweat of the wearer. As a result, moisture increasingly accumulates on the hearing device and in particular also on the electronic components of the hearing device. Conveniently, the hearing aid is placed in a drying device, for example, in the evening before the hearing aid wearer goes to sleep.
At the present time, two methods are common for drying or dehumidifying a hearing aid after use: According to a first method, the hearing aid is placed in a storage container in which a silica gel pack is located.
