Neben dem Kompressor ist ein Generator für die Induktionsspulen angebracht (hier nicht sichtbar). Der Kälteverdampfer 12 ist über eine - hier nicht sichtbare - Leitung mit der Kühlleitung 10 verbunden. Ferner sind oberhalb des Kompressors 9 und unterhalb der Präsentationsplatte 14 Elektronikschaltungen 16, 17 und 18 (siehe Fig. 3) für die Ansteuerung der Induktionsspulen 15 vorgesehen. Seitlich der Wanne 5 ist eine Steuerschaltung 19 für die Induktionsspulen 15 angeordnet, die von einer Frontplatte 20 abgedeckt ist. An apparatus for presenting cold and hot food, comprising a cooling device (9, 12) and a heating device (15, 30), characterized in that a display case (2) is provided with a presentation plate (14) which contains both the cooling device (9, 12) and also the heating device (15, 30), and the heating device comprises one or several induction coils (15) which are arranged in the region of the presentation plate (14).
  2. An apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the cooling device comprises a cooling element (12) with a fan (13) for circulating the cooling air in the display case.
  3. An apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the presentation plate (14) consists of a non-metallic hard material.
  4. An apparatus according to claim 3, characterized in that the material is stone, glass or a suitable plastic.
  5. An apparatus according to claim 4, characterized in that the material is granite.
  6. An apparatus according to one of the claims 3 to 5, characterized in that the presentation plate (14) is pivotable at an angle of 0° to 45° to an inclined position in relation to the horizontal.
  7. An apparatus according to one of the claims 1 to 6, characterized in that a drain (41) is provided in the region of the presentation plate (14) and a collecting bowl (11) beneath the drain in order to discharge condensed water produced in the display case.
  8. An apparatus according to one of the claims 1 to 7, characterized in that a heating lamp (30) is arranged in the upper region of the display case (2), which heating lamp can be switched on and off automatically via an electric circuit together with the induction coil (15).
  9. An apparatus according to claim 8, characterized in that the heating lamp (30) is an infrared radiator or a halogen lamp.
  10. An apparatus according to one of the claims 1 to 9, characterized in that a steam or water mist generator is provided, which is used to supply a dosed quantity of steam or water mist to the display case (2).
  11. An apparatus according to one of the claims 1 to 10, characterized in that LED lamps (29) of different colours are provided for illuminating the presentation plate (14).
  12. An apparatus according to claim 11, characterized in that a first row of LED lamps (29) with a white luminous colour is provided, a second row with LED lamps of a blue luminous colour which is parallel thereto, and a third row with LED lamps of a red luminous colour which is parallel thereto.
  13. An apparatus according to claim 11, characterized in that the LED lamps (29) are provided as RGB LED colour diodes, which are adjustable to all luminous colours by continuous selection of colours.
  14. An apparatus according to one of the claims 11 to 13, characterized in that a light dimmer is provided for the LED lamps (29).
