Description
- The present invention relates to a visible device for the wall assembly of a wall cupboard, said device being commonly called in the field visible hanging brackets.
- A visible hanging bracket of this type is described and illustrated for example in European patent
EP 0033179 . - These devices also have the function of allowing regulations in height and depth of the wall cupboard assembled, with respect to the wall itself and adjacent pieces of furniture.
- The assembly of the piece of furniture to the wall is effected by means of an arm which extends from the body of the device and is hooked to a support, for example a bar, peg, plate or similar item, fixed to the wall.
- The above regulations in height and depth are effected by acting on said arm through various types of mechanisms, which are controlled (from outside the device) by means of a maneuvering tool (for example a screwdriver).
- As is well known to experts in the field, and as is evident from the following description, these hanging brackets are fixed to the shoulder of a wall cupboard, in correspondence with the top and lining, the latter when envisaged. This means in correspondence with the upper edges of the cupboard opposite the opening-closing doors.
- When the doors of the cupboard are hinged for a movement around a vertical axis, or are sliding, the axial access to the above regulation mechanisms with a screwdriver is allowed without any particular problems.
- This is not the case when the door of the cupboard is hinged to move around a horizontal axis, i.e. to rotate upwards (opening) and vice versa (closing).
- The articulation systems of the door around a horizontal axis are in fact generally quite encumbering, preventing access in an axial direction, by means of a screwdriver, to the regulation mechanisms in height and depth indicated above.
- Visible hanging brackets should also satisfy the following main requisites.
- Firstly, their general configuration must be such as to allow them to be easily and safely fixed to the shoulder of the cupboard, regardless of the possibility of a so-called rear lining.
- Secondly, their structure must be such as to ensure a firm and safe fixing to the shoulder of the cupboard, even without a rear lining.
- Thirdly, the above regulation mechanisms in height and depth must be easily accessible and maneuverable from the outside, regardless of the type and position of the articulation system (hinging) of the door to the cupboard itself.
- A further requisite that must be satisfied by visible hanging brackets is that they must comprise regulation mechanisms of the cupboard in height and depth which are simple to produce and assemble and have a reliable functioning.
- According to prior art patent document
DE 2907970 it's disclosed a device for the wall assembly of a structural element of a piece of furniture of the type comprising a movable arm for the hooking of the device to a support fixed to the wall, and where the position of the arm with respect to the wall is regulated with respect to the height and depth by means of two different regulation mechanisms fully contained inside a box-shaped body. The box-shaped body is composed of two half-shells firmly intercoupled by fixing means disposed on the side of the box-shaped body, and there are provided further fixing means for fixing the body to the furniture. - Document
WO2010/012504 A1 discloses an other fastening device. - The general objective of the present invention is therefore to overcome the drawbacks of the known art by providing a visible hanging bracket which can be used
indifferently with cupboards equipped with doors having both an opening with a movement around a vertical axis, and an opening with a movement around a horizontal axis. - This objective is achieved by a device, a so-called visible hanging bracket, having the characteristics specified in claim 1 and enclosed subclaims.

figure 22 is a perspective view, with an enlarged detail, illustrating a wall cupboard equipped with a visible hanging bracket produced according to the invention, in which the door of the wall cupboard is hinged to move around a horizontal axis, i.e. upwards (opening) and vice versa (closing). -
Figures 1-10 of the drawings illustrate a first possible embodiment of the invention in which the assembly device is indicated as a whole with thenumerical reference 30, and is of the so-called visible type. - As already specified, devices of this type are commonly called visible hanging brackets in the field.
- The
device 30 is structurally composed of a flatrectangular body 31, characteristically comprising two half-shells hooking arm 34. - The
arm 34 can be rotated around apin 35 in the directions of the arrow F, and can also be translated forwards and backwards in the directions of the arrow F1 (figure 9 ). - The rotation and translation of the
arm 34 are controlled by means of two separate control mechanisms, which are indicated as a whole with thenumerical references - The
mechanism 36 serves to regulate the height (in vertical) of the position of the cupboard M, whereas themechanism 37 serves to regulate the depth of the position (in horizontal). - More specifically, as can be clearly seen in the various illustrative figures, the
hooking arm 34 is in a single fork-shaped piece, withinterspaced branches 38, open behind and shaped in the front, defining ahook 39 protruding through an opening 40 of thebody 31. Thehook 39 is destined for being hooked to a B-shaped supporting bar fixed to a wall P (figure 5 ). - Said
branches 38 of thearm 34, close to the open rear end, are perforated as in 41, so as to receive thepin 35 on which they can rotate. - As can be clearly seen in the drawings, the
hooking arm 34 is guided in its rotation and translation movements by the internal surfaces of the body 31 (figure 10 ). - The
mechanism 36, which controls the rotation of thearm 34 around thepin 35, comprises ascrew 42 which is screwed onto a slidinghexagonal nut 43. - For this purpose, the head of the
screw 42 is housed in a complementary seat 49' of the two half-shells hexagonal nut 43 translates onguides 48. - The
screw 36 rotates inside thehexagonal nut 43 which, when translating, acts on theterminal edge 45 of acurved section 46 which slides inside acorresponding slit 47 of thebody 31. - The end of said
section 46 opposite to 45 is buffered against thebranches 38 of thehooking arm 34. - The head of the
screw 42 opposite to 44, comprises atoothed crown 49 with which agear 50 is engaged, rotating on apin 51 whose rotation axis is perpendicular to that of thescrew 42. - The
pin 51 is housed inside a hole 51' of the half-shell 32. - A
seat 52 is situated in thegear 50 for a manoeuvring tool passing through ahole 44 of the half-shell 33. - The
components shells figure 1 . - The
mechanism 37, which controls the translation of thearm 34, comprises ascrew 54 which is screwed through a threadedhole 55 of thepin 35 on which thearm 34 rotates. - As can be clearly seen in the drawings, in particular in
figures 9 and 10 , the translation of saidscrew 54 is blocked at the front end by asupport 56 and at the rear end by aseat 57, on which thescrew 54 itself is rotatingly assembled. - More specifically, the pointed
front end 58 of thescrew 54 is rotatingly housed in aseat 59 of thesupport 56, whereas the head at the opposite end comprises atoothed crown 60 whereby agear 61 is engaged, which can rotate on apin 62 whose rotation axis is perpendicular to that of thescrew 54. - The
pin 62 is housed in a hole 62' of the half-shell 32. - A
seat 63 is situated in thegear 61 for a manoeuvring tool passing through ahole 64 of the half-shell 33. - The components of the
above control mechanism 37, as can be clearly seen in the drawings, are housed inside a corresponding seat defined by the coupling between the two half-shells figure 1 . - The half-
shells pins 66. - The front side of the half-shell 33 (from which the
hook 39 extends) preferably has aflange 67 which is buffered against a lining 68 (if present) of the cupboard M (figure 18 ). - As can be clearly seen from
figure 8 of the drawings, thehanging bracket 30 according to this embodiment of the invention is fixed to theshoulder 69 of the cupboard M by means of a plurality ofscrews 70 which pass throughrespective holes 71 in the half-shells figure 8 ). -
Figures 11-20 illustrate a second possible embodiment of the invention, in which elements, the same and/or equivalent to those illustrated infigures 1-10 , are indicated with the same reference numbers, increased by 100, and are not further described. - This second embodiment of the invention, in fact, only differs from the first embodiment in the fixing means of the hanging
bracket 130 to theshoulder 169 which instead of consisting of pass-throughscrews 70, are composed ofpins 172. - As can be clearly seen in the drawings, said
pins 172 protrude from the half-shell 132 of thebody 131, in correspondence with the lower side of the latter. - Each
pin 172 is axially perforated, as in 173, to receive a fixingscrew 174 of thesame pin 172 to thebody 131 of the hanging bracket, whose half-shells figure 19 ). - As can be clearly seen in
figure 19 of the drawings, the screws 174 - together with other screws 174' - consequently also actuate the reciprocal fixing of the half-shells body 131 of the hanging bracket. - More specifically, the
pin 172 comprises asawtooth section 176 equipped with ashank 177 housed inside abush 178 integral with the half-sell 132 of thebody 131. - In this way, the hanging
bracket 130 can be firmly fixed to theshoulder 169 of the cupboard M by pressure-inserting (with interference) thepins 172 intoholes 179 of theshoulder 169 itself (figures 18, 22 ). - The regulation in height and depth of the cupboard M with respect to the wall (and also possibly with respect to other adjacent pieces of furniture not shown) is effected by acting on the
gears - The rotation in one direction or another of the
gear 50, 150 (andcrown 49, 149), in fact, causes a rotation of thearm pin screw curved section nut - The
arm section panel - The rotation in one direction or another of the
gear 61, 161 (andcrown 60, 160), on the other hand, causes a translation of thearm screw hole pin arm - The
seats gears coaxial holes shell side body - The objectives indicated in the preamble of the description have therefore been achieved.
- The scope of the invention is defined by the following claims.
