Abstract
The eccentric funnel (1) according to the invention for feeding liquid aluminum to the fill chamber of a die casting machine is arranged above the same and comprises an upper part (2) designed as a feed channel (4) and connected to a lower part designed as a filling tube (3). Following a straight starting piece (5), the feed channel (4) continues with ever increasing curvature, until it ends over the opening of the filling tube (3) in congruence therewith. In this way, the aluminum is given a rotary motion, whereby a homogeneous flow is achieved. Over the filling tube (3), the speed of the aluminum is drastically reduced, so that it is conducted at a low impact speed downward into the filling chamber, taking up the opening surface of the filling tube (3). In this way, washout and erosion is prevented in the filling chamber, thereby achieving a long service life of the die casting machine.

Das Zuführen von flüssigem Aluminium in die Füllkammer einer Druckgiessmaschine mittels eines Schöpflöffels oder eines Kanals ist mit dem Nachteil verbunden, dass der Einfülltrichter das Aluminium quasi punktförmig immer auf die gleiche Stelle der Füllkammer leitet. Wegen der zudem hohen Aufprallgeschwindigkeit sind schon bald Auswaschungen und Erosionen in der Füllkammer die Folge, was schnell zu frühzeitigem Ersatz der Füllkammer und zu Maschinenstillstandzeiten führt. Die Erfindung stellt sich nun die Aufgabe, die geschilderten Nachteile zu vermeiden und eine Einfüllvorrichtung zu schaffen, mit der das Aluminium über eine grosse Fläche verteilt mit kleiner Fallhöhe in die Füllkammer gelangt und somit die Maschinenstillstandzeiten verkürzt werden.The feeding of liquid aluminum in the filling chamber of a die casting machine by means of a ladle or a channel is associated with the disadvantage that the hopper always directs the aluminum quasi punctiform on the same point of the filling chamber. Gemäss Fig. 1 besteht der exzentrische Trichter 1 aus einem grosseren Oberteil 2 und einem kleineren als Füllrohr 3 ausgebildetem Unterteil. Der Oberteil 2 ist als Zuführungskanal 4 ausgebildet, der als Anfangsstück 5 eine Innenwand 6 und eine Aussenwand 7 aufweist, die einen U-förmigen Querschnitt bildend miteinander verbunden sind. Nach dem Eingangsstück 5 ist die Aussenwand 7 mit dem den Bogen des U bildenden Bodenteil 8 spiralförmig immer stärker gekrümmt, so dass der Rand 9 (Fig. 2) des Bodenteils 8 die Kreisöffnung 10 des Füllrohrs 3 erreicht und weiter mit ihr fluchtet bis schliesslich die Aussenwand 7 wieder mit der Innenwand 6 des Anfangsstücks 5 verbunden ist. Im Giessbetrieb wird der exzentrische Trichter 1 mittels dreier durch die Bohrungen 12 geführter Bolzen auf einem gebogenen Blech angeschweisst. Das gebogene Blech wird einfach so auf die Druckgiessmaschine aufgelegt, dass das Füllrohr 3 senkrecht über der Füllkammer zu liegen kommt. Somit lässt sich der exzentrische Trichter auch einfach wieder demontieren. Die Bohrungen 14 dienen zur Befestigung eines Zuführungskanals oder eines Löffels. Beim Zuführen des flüssigen Aluminiums wird ihm nun im exzentrischen Trichter 1 durch die Gestaltung des Zuführungskanals 4 eine Drehbewegung erteilt, wodurch ein homogener Fluss und eine Reduktion der Turbulenz bewirkt wird. Weil am Anfang das Aluminium die Tendenz zum Hochsteigen an der Aussenwand hat, wird dies durch den Vorsprung 11 verhindert. Die Einfüllzeit wird durch die Drehbewegung nicht vermindert, aber die Geschwindigkeit des Aluminiums wird über der Kreisöffnung 10 reduziert und das Aluminium fällt dann praktisch der gesamten Öffnungsfläche des Füllrohrs 3 entlang senkrecht in die Füllkammer der Druckgiessmaschine. Auf diese Weise erfolgt der Aufprall auf einer grossen Fläche mit stark reduzierter Geschwindigkeit. Da mit der beschriebenen Methode die Höhe des Füllrohrs klein gehalten werden kann, wird eine nochmalige Reduktion der Aufprallgeschwindigkeit bewirkt. Da der exzentrische Trichter über der Füllkammer angeordnet ist, wird er auch durch diese warm gehalten, so dass keine Heizung notwendig ist. Damit nicht nur der Füllkammer eine lange Standzeit erteilt wird, sondern auch der exzentrische Trichter eine solche aufweist, ist die Oberfläche des Einfüllkanals mit einer Keramikbeschichtung versehen.
