Definitions
- the present invention relates to a transport / presentation unit with at least one transport / presentation carrier for containers, for example bottle-type beverage containers.
- transport carriers are envisaged, in which containers combined into containers can be transported and presented for sale.
- drinks sold as containers are generally transported packed in cardboard boxes, that is, sent to retailers and also presented for sale in these packages.
- the cardboard packaging may be provided, for example, with an advertising imprint identifying the beverage manufacturer or the offered beverage.
- the containers are generally stacked from beverage containers in several layers one above the other, with individual layers are separated from each other, for example, by interposed cardboard plates.
- the WO 92/18391 A1 discloses a transport / presentation unit according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the stacked carriers are positioned on a plate-like base member.
- the base element In association with a plurality of carrier stacks, the base element has base projections which engage in a downwardly open volume region of the respective lowermost carrier in a stack.
- a transport presentation unit In a transport presentation unit according to NL 7316087 A are in the delivery state stacked carriers with containers, especially containers combined to containers filled. In some cases, the containers or container bundles engage beyond the upper edge of the carriers and into a space area delimited by an overlying carrier.
- Beverage carriers which have approximately in their vertical center area a bottom portion, whereby the carriers are divided into two superposed container receiving volume areas.
- the NL 1007612 A discloses stackable carriers in which beverage containers can be positioned either singly or in bundles.
- a carrier positioned above another carrier containing beverage containers or containers thereof rests on top of the beverage containers projecting beyond the lower carrier.
- a transport / presentation unit preferably for beverage containers, comprising at least one transport / presentation carrier, the carrier having a bottom region for carrying containers and on a first side of the bottom region in a first extension direction extending a first peripheral wall, wherein the first peripheral wall defines a first container receiving volume area with at least a first container receiving chamber, and on a second side of the bottom portion in a first extension direction opposite second direction extending extending a second peripheral wall, said second peripheral wall having a second container receiving volume range at least one second container receiving chamber bounded, further comprising in a delivery / presentation state of the unit a plurality of on the first side or the second n side of the bottom portion of at least one transport / presentation support worn containers, preferably container bundles, each with a plurality of containers.
- a lowermost transport / presentation carrier in the height direction is carried on
- the transport / presentation pallet has a peripheral wall, wherein on the transport / presentation pallet with the peripheral wall a container receiving volume area is bounded by at least one container receiving chamber.
- a volume is provided on both sides of the bottom area, namely a respective container receiving volume area in which containers and in particular container containers are arranged both during transport and thus protected, as well as can be offered for sale.
- such carriers are also suitable for the return transport of empties, with the result that the unusable volume range is markedly reduced during transport of the carrier filled for sale, in particular also several carriers stacked one above the other.
- a first extension length of the first circumferential wall in the first extension direction is smaller than a second extension length of the second circumferential wall in the second extension direction.
- the container positioning projections comprise at least one center-positioning projection and / or at least one edge-positioning projection.
- At least the second container receiving volume region is subdivided by at least one dividing wall for providing a plurality of container receiving chambers. This leads to a further securing the transported back as empties containers against moving or hitting each other.
- the second extent of length at least twice, preferably is at least four times the first extension length, or / and that the second extension length is at most ten times, preferably at most seven times the first extension length.
- this comprises a plurality of stacked transport / presentation carriers, wherein in a delivery condition of the unit on the first side of the floor area of the top transport / presentation carrier in the height direction no container containers or containers are worn.
- a first container receiving volume area and a second container receiving volume area together essentially form a container receiving volume.
- the containers are thus with their lower part in the first container receiving volume area provided by a lower two carriers and with their upper part in a second container receiving volume area provided by the carrier positioned above, and are thus completely encapsulated.
- At least one container or container container is preferably carried on the first side of the floor area in the height direction top transport / presentation support. These are thus recorded with their lower part in a first container receiving volume area, namely that of the uppermost carrier and freely visible in its upper, the larger extension region engaging part for customers.
- a second container receiving volume area substantially forms a container receiving volume is ensures that the containers returned in the empty state are completely received in the respective second container receiving volume range. Also, the containers arranged at the top in a stack thus do not protrude beyond the second container receiving volume area, although the uppermost carrier is not closed at the top.
- the extension length of the peripheral wall on the transport / presentation pallet essentially corresponds to the extension length of a first peripheral wall of a transport / presentation carrier.
- At least one container or container container is advantageously carried on the transport / presentation pallet.
- a container or a container of containers is carried on a pallet or the floor area, which means essentially immediate carrying functionality and not wearing by means of, for example, several stacked above carrier.
- the Figures 1 and 2 each show in perspective view a transport / presentation carrier 10, hereinafter referred to as "carrier".
- the carrier 10 comprises an example plate-like or lattice-like bottom portion 12. It is in the FIG. 2 a first side 14 of the bottom portion 12 recognizable, while the FIG. 1 a second side 16 of the bottom portion 12 can be seen.
- a first circumferential wall 18 extends in a first extension direction R1.
- the first peripheral wall 18 delimits a first container receiving volume region 20, which is subdivided by a web-like intermediate wall 22 into two container receiving chambers 24, 26.
- first extension direction R1 of the first peripheral wall 18 opposite second extension direction R2 extends one in the FIG. 1 recognizable peripheral wall 28 on the second side 16 of the bottom region 12.
- the second peripheral wall 28 defines a second container receiving volume region 30.
- This second container receiving volume region 30 is characterized by a web-like intermediate wall 22 in the second direction of extent R2 continuing web-like intermediate wall 32 on the one hand and two further web-like intermediate walls 34, 36, which may for example be slightly thinner than the web-like intermediate wall 32, in a total of four container receiving chambers 38, 40, 42, 44 divided.
- each container positioning projection 46 is formed with concave positioning surfaces 48 on their outer circumference in adaptation to the beverage containers generally constructed with a circular outer periphery, for example each container positioning projection 46 having four such positioning surfaces 48.
- each container positioning projection 46 having four such positioning surfaces 48.
- peripheral walls 18 and 28 need not necessarily be formed completely closed. These may be web-like or formed with openings, may have carrying or engagement openings and, of course, be provided with an advertising imprint or other means for attaching advertising.
- the container positioning projections 46 can, as in the right half of FIG. 1 can be seen, each formed divided by incisions, but may also protrude as a unitary body from the bottom portion 12. It should also be pointed out that the outer circumference dimensioning of a carrier 10 is preferably selected in adaptation to the dimensioning of so-called Euro pallets.
- the outer circumference dimensioning of the carrier 10 corresponds to a 1/4 Euro pallet, so that a total of 4 such carriers 10 could be positioned side by side on a 1/1 Euro pallet.
- a dividing line 50 in the FIG. 1 it is also possible, only half of one in the Figures 1 and 2 illustrated carrier 10 to use as transport / presentation support or to design, so that its outer circumference dimensioning then corresponds to a 1/8-Euro pallet.
- FIG. 3 a unit 52 according to the invention in a presentation state, ie a state in which a plurality of superimposed stacked carrier 10 and container containers 54 positioned therein, for example, in a beverage market for the sale of the container 54 can be positioned.
- FIG. 3 it can be seen, first, that the carriers 10 stacked one above the other are positioned on a transport / presentation pallet 56 designed to be adapted to them.
- the transport / presentation pallet 56 likewise comprises a bottom area 58 and on the underside thereof a plurality of support feet 60, so that the floor area 58 can be grasped under with a fork-lift truck or other lifting vehicle and the entire unit 52 can be lifted.
- the transport / presentation pallet 56 has a peripheral wall 62 which delimits a container receiving volume area 64.
- the extension length of the circumferential wall 62 may be adapted, for example, to the extension length of a respective first circumferential wall 18 of the carrier 10 or may be chosen the same.
- an intermediate wall 66 may be provided in association with the intermediate wall 32 of the lowermost carrier 10 at the bottom region 58, so that here too a support extending through the entire stack of carriers 10 and thus uniform loading of the transport / presentation pallet 56 is achieved ,
- a container receiving volume 68 is bounded by the respective first container receiving volume region 20 or the container receiving volume region 64 on the one hand and the second container receiving volume region 30 of a carrier 10 arranged above each, in which the containers 54 are arranged and completely encapsulated.
- the containers 54 are thus each with its lower part in a first Container receiving volume area 20 and the container receiving volume area 64 and are arranged with their upper part in a respective second container receiving volume area 30.
- the first container receiving volume areas 20 and the container receiving volume area 64 have no further positioning measures for the container 54, these are by the juxtaposition of the container 54 per se and also provided by the respective second container receiving volume region 30 intermediate walls 32, 34, 36 secured against slipping and thus damage.
- the length of Be diligentnispositioniervorsprünge 46 is selected or even so matched to the extension length L1 of the first peripheral wall 18 and the peripheral wall 62 of the transport pallet 56 that with positioned in a respective receptacle receiving volume 68 container 54, the overlying Be mutualerpositioniervorsprünge 46 from above not in this Intervene container 54.
- the container 54 In the in the FIG. 3 recognizable presentation state is arranged on the first side 14 of the bottom portion 12 of the uppermost support 10 of the unit 52 a plurality of presented for sale containers 54. Since the first peripheral wall 18 of this carrier 10 or each carrier 10 in comparison to the second peripheral wall 28 has a shorter extension length L1, the container 54 are clearly visible and can be easily removed.
- the extension length L1 of the first peripheral wall 18, starting from the bottom area 12 can be in a range of 25 to 35 mm. This can also be the extension length of the container positioning projections 46 starting from the bottom region 12 in the second direction of extent.
- the top carrier 10 can then be removed, so that the previously positioned below level of containers 54 is now freely visible and free for access. If the level of containers 54 disposed on the lowermost carrier 10 has also been removed, the bottommost carrier 10 can also be removed from the transport / presentation pallet 56 so that the transport / presentation pallet 56 with the containers 54 arranged thereon remains ,
- a carrier 10 is also positioned above the topmost level of containers. This covers the container 54 of the top level with its bottom portion 12 and surrounds it with its second peripheral wall 28. In the upwardly then then exposed first receiving volume region 20 of this top support 10 no container 54 are arranged.
- the carrier 10 in the in FIG. 4 used in a recognizable way. These are now positioned so that the respective second side 16 of the bottom portion 12 is oriented upwards, so that the second container receiving volume areas 30 are open towards the top, while the first container receiving volume areas 20 are open towards the bottom.
- the empty and separated containers 72 are set in a second container receiving volume region 30 of a carrier 10 and there by means of the Be Zellerpositioniervorsprünge 46 and the intermediate walls 32, 34, 36 and also the second peripheral wall 28 stably supported. Due to the previously described lengthwise dimensioning of the circumferential walls 18 and 28, in this return delivery state, as shown in FIG.
- the containers 72 are completely within a respective second container receiving volume area 30 and do not extend upwardly beyond the first container receiving volume area 20 of one
- FIGS. 5a ) and b) show in plan view a carrier 10, from the first side and the second side, respectively, the two halves of which are shown in different ways.
- one of the FIG. 1 corresponding arrangement with the intermediate walls 32 and 34 and the Be Strukturnispositioniervorsprüngen 46 to recognize.
- the containers arranged in four rows of six containers 72. Due to this four / six-division, it is possible to accommodate container bundles 54 with a wide variety of containers on the same base.
- 10 containers with 2 adjacent rows of containers can be arranged in the carrier, wherein the rows may comprise, for example, two, three or six containers so that quad, six or twelve containers as well as two containers can be used.
- This also illustrates the appearance of the FIG. 5a ), in which various containers are shown with a dotted line in a first container receiving volume area 20.
- FIGS. 6 and 7 illustrate various ways to provide superposed or to be positioned carriers 10 for a stable support of the same to each other without additional connecting means.
- the circumferential walls 18, 28 extending away from both sides of the bottom area 12 have mutually complementary projection or depression formations 80 and 82, respectively, which engage one another when carriers are superimposed on one another and thus generate a positive fit preventing lateral slippage.
- the first peripheral wall 18 delimiting the respective first container receiving volume area 20 is slightly offset inwards with respect to the second peripheral wall 28 and thus a first circumferential wall 18 can be positioned engaging a second circumferential wall 28 when carriers 10 are stacked on one another.
- This may, depending on the extension length of the second peripheral wall 28 in the second extension direction R2, lead to a state in which the upper end portions of the container 54 of the bottom portion 12 is directly opposite, the container positioning projections 46 so for example, in the container packages 70 engage. If the extension length L2 of the second peripheral walls 28 is chosen to be larger, the in FIG.
- FIGS. 8 and 9 show an alternative embodiment of carriers 10 and their use in the delivery or presentation state.
- the carriers 10 are positioned so that their respective second container receiving volume areas 30 are oriented upwards, ie the second sides 16 of the floor areas 12 are at the top.
- the containers 72 are combined into container bundles 54 and stand on the container positioning projections 46 provided on the second side 16 of a respective bottom region 12.
- the positioning projections 84 to be considered as edge positioning projections are arranged corresponding to the positioning of the container positioning projections 46 so as to respectively define a region of a peripheral contour of a container positioning projection 46 Container so as to ensure on the one hand a stable support not bundled containers container 72, for example, in the return delivery state, and on the other hand to ensure a uniform load distribution, when shipped or in the presentation state to container bundles 54 summarized containers 72 in the second container receiving volume range 30 on this Be psychologistnispositioniervorsprüngen 46, 84 are standing.
- these can then be formed directly on the peripheral wall 28 or the dividing walls 32, 34, 36, respectively, preferably integrally connected thereto.
- container positioning projections 84 arranged in the abutment regions of the dividing walls 32, 34, 36 on the circumferential wall 28.
- at least a portion of the container positioning projections, leaving a Interspace to the peripheral wall 28 or a respective partition wall 32, 34, 36 provide or / and these according to the in FIG. 9 in the right-hand part, split container positioning projections 46 to share.
- FIG. 8 recognizes that, of course, depending on the size of the containers used 72 and thus the height of the container bundle 54 they can protrude when positioning on the various Be Strukturnispositioniervorsprüngen 46, 84 upwards from the second container receiving volume range 20 of a respective carrier 10 and thus in the extend downwardly oriented first container receiving volume area 20 of an overlying carrier 10.
- a second receptacle receiving volume area 30 open at the top and a first receptacle receiving volume area 20 positioned directly above it downwardly form a receptacle receiving volume 68, in which one or more receptacle receptacles 54 can be accommodated.
- the container bundles 54 contained in the uppermost carrier 10 protrude with their upper regions over the peripheral wall 28, so that they are clearly visible in the state of presentation and can also be easily gripped.

Description
The present invention relates to a transport / presentation unit with at least one transport / presentation carrier for containers, for example bottle-type beverage containers. In particular, transport carriers are envisaged, in which containers combined into containers can be transported and presented for sale.
In the beverage industry, drinks sold as containers, ie, for example, so-called six-packs or the like, are generally transported packed in cardboard boxes, that is, sent to retailers and also presented for sale in these packages. In this case, the cardboard packaging may be provided, for example, with an advertising imprint identifying the beverage manufacturer or the offered beverage. In such a package, the containers are generally stacked from beverage containers in several layers one above the other, with individual layers are separated from each other, for example, by interposed cardboard plates. When the containers are sold, if one of the container levels is sold, then the cardboard plate lying on top is taken out in order to be able to remove the next level.
Since the containers summarized in such containers, so for example glass bottles, are mostly pledge afflicted, so are to be taken back both from the retail and the manufacturer, it is necessary to transport in such units not only offered for sale container, but also the for the return transport required carrier. Since the containers themselves but in such for the empties, so isolated beverage containers, provided carriers can not be arranged in the manufacturer's retail or wholesale delivered units are transported along empty carrier to provide for all contained in such a unit, initially still filled beverage containers also a return transport option as empties. This leads to a considerable not usable for filled beverage containers or containers thereof volume range in the units supplied by the manufacturer to the customer.

It is the object of the present invention to provide a transport / presentation unit, which provides a more efficient use of the transport volume with an existing possibility for use in the sale of containers especially when used for container bundles.
According to the present invention, this object is achieved by a transport / presentation unit, preferably for beverage containers, comprising at least one transport / presentation carrier, the carrier having a bottom region for carrying containers and on a first side of the bottom region in a first extension direction extending a first peripheral wall, wherein the first peripheral wall defines a first container receiving volume area with at least a first container receiving chamber, and on a second side of the bottom portion in a first extension direction opposite second direction extending extending a second peripheral wall, said second peripheral wall having a second container receiving volume range at least one second container receiving chamber bounded, further comprising in a delivery / presentation state of the unit a plurality of on the first side or the second n side of the bottom portion of at least one transport / presentation support worn containers, preferably container bundles, each with a plurality of containers. In order to be able to handle a unit constructed in accordance with the invention, for example by using a forklift or another lifting device, a lowermost transport / presentation carrier in the height direction is carried on a transport / presentation pallet.
In order to be able to ensure, when using such a transport / presentation pallet, that the volume occupied by the lowermost carrier of a carrier stack can also be used completely for the positioning of containers or container containers, but nevertheless also the containers arranged in this lowermost region a beverage market can be presented in substantially the same manner as the containers presented on a carrier, the transport / presentation pallet has a peripheral wall, wherein on the transport / presentation pallet with the peripheral wall a container receiving volume area is bounded by at least one container receiving chamber.
In the case of the transport / presentation carrier used according to the invention, referred to below as carrier only, a volume is provided on both sides of the bottom area, namely a respective container receiving volume area in which containers and in particular container containers are arranged both during transport and thus protected, as well as can be offered for sale. At the same time, such carriers are also suitable for the return transport of empties, with the result that the unusable volume range is markedly reduced during transport of the carrier filled for sale, in particular also several carriers stacked one above the other.
In a particularly advantageous embodiment, it may be predetermined that a first extension length of the first circumferential wall in the first extension direction is smaller than a second extension length of the second circumferential wall in the second extension direction. This makes it possible, for example, to orient a carrier according to the invention or carriers stacked one above the other in such a way that the first circumferential wall or the first container receiving volume area delimited thereby is still oriented upwards, and in the presentation of the containers for the sale the containers or containers accommodated therein Although it surrounds containers and protects against falling, it essentially allows a view of the containers or containers.
In order to be able to provide a stable positioning of the containers in a carrier according to the invention for use for the return transport of empty containers, which are then generally not bundled into containers, it is further proposed that starting from the bottom area a plurality of container positioning projections extend at least into the second container receiving volume area.
An increased stability in the positioning of containers, as well as container bundles can be achieved in that the container positioning projections comprise at least one center-positioning projection and / or at least one edge-positioning projection.
Depending on the dimensions of a carrier according to the invention, it may also be advantageous if at least the second container receiving volume region is subdivided by at least one dividing wall for providing a plurality of container receiving chambers. This leads to a further securing the transported back as empties containers against moving or hitting each other.
On the one hand to be able to ensure safe, preferably complete reception of containers in the second container receiving volume range on the one hand and on the other hand to impair the visibility of the containers or container bundles as little as possible in the state of presentation, it is proposed that the second extent of length at least twice, preferably is at least four times the first extension length, or / and that the second extension length is at most ten times, preferably at most seven times the first extension length.
In order to enable the transport or the presentation of a larger number of containers with a unit according to the invention, it is proposed that this comprises a plurality of stacked transport / presentation carriers, wherein in a delivery condition of the unit on the first side of the floor area of the top transport / presentation carrier in the height direction no container containers or containers are worn.
In the case of stacking a plurality of carriers, in particular when the containers or container containers are arranged on the first side of the bottom area, preferably a first container receiving volume area and a second container receiving volume area together essentially form a container receiving volume. The containers are thus with their lower part in the first container receiving volume area provided by a lower two carriers and with their upper part in a second container receiving volume area provided by the carrier positioned above, and are thus completely encapsulated.
In a presentation state, that is, for example, when presenting in a beverage market, at least one container or container container is preferably carried on the first side of the floor area in the height direction top transport / presentation support. These are thus recorded with their lower part in a first container receiving volume area, namely that of the uppermost carrier and freely visible in its upper, the larger extension region engaging part for customers.
It is further proposed that in a return delivery state and / or in a delivery state and / or a presentation state of the unit on the second side of the bottom area of at least one transport / presentation support at least one container is worn.
In order to obtain as uniform as possible a support function, in particular for container containers, it is proposed that in the delivery state and / or the state of presentation of the unit at least one container container on at least one container positioning projection, preferably a plurality of Behältnispositioniervorsprüngen is supported.
In particular, if it is ensured that in a return delivery state and / or in a delivery state, a second container receiving volume area substantially forms a container receiving volume is ensures that the containers returned in the empty state are completely received in the respective second container receiving volume range. Also, the containers arranged at the top in a stack thus do not protrude beyond the second container receiving volume area, although the uppermost carrier is not closed at the top.
In order to ensure a uniform appearance, it is advantageous if the extension length of the peripheral wall on the transport / presentation pallet essentially corresponds to the extension length of a first peripheral wall of a transport / presentation carrier.
In the delivery state, at least one container or container container is advantageously carried on the transport / presentation pallet. It should be noted that for the purposes of the present invention, the statement that a container or a container of containers is carried on a pallet or the floor area, which means essentially immediate carrying functionality and not wearing by means of, for example, several stacked above carrier.
In the above-described embodiment of a transport / presentation pallet with a circumferential wall bordering a container receiving volume area, it is advantageously provided, in particular for the delivery condition, that the second container receiving volume area of the lowermost transport / presentation carrier and the container receiving volume area of the transport / presentation pallet are substantially form a container receiving volume. As already stated, this leads to a particularly efficient utilization of the volume occupied by a unit according to the invention.
