Verfahren zur Konfiguration einer Applikation, bestehend aus einem serverseitigen Anteil der Applikation (A) , welche auf einem Server-Rechnersystem (SRV) installiert ist sowie einem clientseitigen Anteil der Applikation (X) , welche auf einem Client-Rechnersystem (CLT) zu installieren und zu konfigurieren ist, wobei die folgenden Verfahrensschritte durchgeführt werden: a) Zugriff (1) durch das Client-Rechnersystem auf eine dem serverseitigen Anteil der Applikation (A) zugeordnete Web-Serverapplikation (WS) , b) Generierung einer Download-Seite (WBP) durch die Web-Serverapplikation (WS) , wobei die Download-Seite (WBP) Konfigurationsdaten zur Konfiguration des clientseitigen Anteils der Applikation (X) enthält und in einem Browser (BRW) des Client-Rechnersystems geladen wird, c) Bezug des clientseitigen Anteils der Applikation (X) vom Server-Rechnersystem über den Browser und Installation des clientseitigen Anteils der Applikation (X) auf dem Client-RechnerSystem, d) Konfiguration des clientseitigen Anteils der Applikation (X) unter Verwendung der Konfigurationsdaten der Downlo- ad-Seite (WBP) .1.
