Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Beleuchtungseinrichtung (4) für eine Küchenarbeitsfläche (5), mit einem länglichen, hohlprofilförmigen Gehäuseelement (7), das zumindest im Bereich eines ersten Endes (8) des Gehäuseelementes (7) zumindest bereichsweise lichtdurchlässig ausgebildet ist und im Inneren des Gehäuseelementes (7) wenigstens ein Leuchtmittel (12) aufweist, bei der das Leuchtmittel (12) im Bereich des zweiten Endes (11) des Gehäuseelementes (7) angeordnet ist und wenigstens im Bereich des ersten Endes (8) des Gehäuseelementes (7), beabstandet zu dem Leuchtmittel (12), mindestens ein Lichtverteilerelement in dem Gehäuseelement (7) zur Verteilung von Licht, das von dem Leuchtmittel stammt, auf zumindest einen Bereich der Küchenarbeitsfläche (5) vorgesehen ist. Ferner betrifft die Küchenelement (1) mit einer Küchenarbeitsfläche (5) und wenigstens einer derartigen Beleuchtungseinrichtung (4) für die Küchenarbeitsfläche (5), wobei das wenigstens eine Leuchtmittel (12) der Beleuchtungseinrichtung (4) unterhalb der Küchenarbeitsfläche (5) angeordnet ist.
