Abstract

A vehicle door lock device includes an inside open lever that is operated at the time of a door opening operation of an inside door handle, an open link that is linked to the inside open lever, a lock mechanism that switches the position of the open link, and a double-lock mechanism that restricts or allows the operation of the lock mechanism. The lock mechanism includes an active lever, a sub-lever, a control lever, a first stopper, a second stopper, and a torsion spring. The double-lock mechanism includes a double-lock lever and a connecting member.
