Definitions
- the present invention refers to an accessory element for spike heel.
- said caps are usually detached from the heel when walking and, furthermore, they are very unsightly, because they substantially change the original slender profile of the heel.
- the object of the present invention is to solve said drawbacks, developing an accessory element for spike heel presenting the advantage that it substantially enhances the stability and comfort for the user when she walks on soft grounds.
- the accessory element of the present invention is characterized in that it comprises a housing platform for the tip of said heel, a support wall for said heel placed at the periphery of said platform, and detachable fixation means of said heel to said platform, said fixation means being configured to permit the fixation of said heel next to said support wall, so that the tip of the heel is placed off-centered in the platform to make minimum the torque momentum that the platform receives when walking.
- a detachable accessory element including a platform with a wide surface for preventing the tip of the heel to be buried in soft grounds. Therefore, the shoe is very stable.
- the element of the present invention is very comfortable because the stability increase is produced not changing the way the user walks. This is due to the fact that as the heel is fixed in an off-centered way, next to said support wall, the load, stress and weight structure with which the shoe is designed does not substantially change (the torque momentum that receives the platform is substantially null).
- said fixation means comprises tightening means of said heel on said support wall. This fixation way is very safe and practical to be handled by the user.
- said tightening means comprises a screw provided in a hole of a second wall, the fixation being produced by tightening when said screw is screwed along said hole until it contacts with said heel.
- said fixation means comprises a pin and two protrusions provided with holes placed at opposed sides of the periphery of the platform, the fixation being produced when the pin passes through said holes through the heel placed next to the support wall.
- said two protrusions or said second wall are defined by the support wall itself that extends with no interruption the perimeter of the platform.
- said platform has a circular shape.
- said platform is made for plastic material, preferably nonstick plastic material. This is especially interesting in cases where the cost economy is sought.
- the construction material could be also an alloy of noble metal (silver, gold, platinum, brass, stainless steel, or equivalent).
- Figs. 1 and 3 show perspective views of two embodiments of the element 1 of the present invention comprising a circular platform 2 for housing the tip 3 of a spike heel (T), a support wall 4 for said heel (T) placed in the periphery of the platform 2 and detachable fixation means of the heel (T) to the platform 2.
- the platform are 2 is designed to increase the support base of the heel to prevent the tip of the heel to bury in soft grounds.
- this surface will be variable, according to the ground and the weight of the user.
- the material for manufacturing the platform 2 can also be very different (plastic, wood, metal, etc.). However, it will be preferably used nonstick plastic material to prevent gliding. In the case of noble metal, a nonslip rubber sheet glued to the lower base will be incorporated.
- the fixation means to the platform 2 are tightening means that are configured by a screw 5 provided in a hole of a second wall 6 placed in the same platform 2.
- the screw 5 contacts the inner face of the spike heel (T) pressing it against the support wall 4.
- the heel (T) remains fixed to the platform 2, next to the support wall 4, but in an off-centered way to make minimum the torque momentum that the platform receives when walking. Therefore, it is not necessary for the user to change the way she walks when she wears the accessory, because the load, stress and weight structure of the shoe does not substantially change when walking.
- the fixation means of the heel (T) to the platform 2 includes a pin 7 and two protrusions 4a, 4b provided with holes and placed in opposite side of the periphery of the platform 2.
- the two protrusions 4a, 4b are defined by the same support wall 4 that extends with no interruption the perimeter of the platform 2.
- the pin 7 is inserted inside the holes of the walls 4, through the heel (T). Therefore, the heel (T) remains fixed to the platform 2, next to the support wall 4, also in an off-centered way, to make minimum the torque momentum that said platform receives when walking.
- said fixing means of the heel (T) to the platform 2 could be configured also from an elastic cone or funnel, or from a pressure washer, that would securely receive the tip 3 of the heel (T), next to the same support wall 4.
