Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Schutzelement zur Echtheitsprüfung eines Schutzgegestandes mit einer Unterlage und einer metallisierten Schicht. Damit das Schutzelement die Zuverlässigkeit beider Fälschungssicherheit erhöht, fertigungsgünstig herstellbar und die Kontrolle mit Hilfe von einfachen physikalischen Einrichtungen zulässt, ist nach der Erfindung vorgesehen, dass die genannte metallisierte Schicht eine ein- oder mehrlagige metallisierte Inselschicht oder die Schicht aus einem granulierten Metall darstellt, dass diese Schicht eine nichtlineare Abhängigkeit von den elektrophysikalischen Eigenschaften aufweist, wenn sie unter Einwirkung eines schwachen elektrischen Gleich- oder Wechselstromfeldes steht, dass diese Schicht zusätzlich eine dielektrische Schutzschicht aufweist, welche oberhalb der erwähnten metallisierten Schicht aufgetragen ist und dass als erkennbares Merkmal der Echtheit des Schutzgegenstandes die nichtlineare Leitfähigkeit des Schutzelements dient, welche mittels der Messung der Leitfähigkeit des Schutzelements bei zwei unterschiedlichen Amplituden des genannten an das Schutzelement angelegten elektrischen Feldes bestimmt ist.
