Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren sowie ein System zum Betreiben einer Leuchte (2), bei der unterschiedliche Dimm-Niveaus eingestellt werden können, derart, dass mit der Leuchte (2) Lichtabstrahlungen unterschiedlicher Helligkeit erzeugt werden können. Das Verfahren umfasst folgenden Schritt (a): Bestimmung von Effizienzwerten der Leuchte (2) bei mehreren unterschiedlichen Dimm-Niveaus. Auf diese Weise kann leicht dasjenige Dimm-Niveaus bestimmt werden, bei dem die Leuchte (2) am effizientesten Licht (7) abgibt. Die Leuchte (2) kann dann bei dem so ermittelten Dimm-Niveau und somit besonders effizient betrieben werden. Die Leuchte (2) strahlt also bei diesem Dimm-Niveau besonders effizient Licht (7) ab. Zur Durchführung des Verfahrens kann ein Steuergerät (4) über einen Bus (6) mit einem EVG (5) verbunden sein, wobei das EVG (5) mit der Leuchte (2) verbunden ist. Zur Erfassung der Effizienzwerte kann ein Fotosensor (3) dienen, mit dem die Helligkeit des von der Leuchte (2) erzeugten Lichts (7) erfasst werden kann.The invention relates to a method and a system for operating a lamp (2), in which different dimming levels can be set, such that with the lamp (2) light emissions of different brightness can be generated. The method comprises the following step (a): determining efficiency values of the luminaire (2) at several different dimming levels. In this way, the dimming level can be easily determined, in which the lamp (2) emits light (7) most efficiently. The lamp (2) can then be operated at the dimming level thus determined and thus particularly efficient. The luminaire (2) therefore emits light (7) at this dimming level in a particularly efficient manner. To carry out the method, a control unit (4) can be connected via a bus (6) to an electronic ballast (5), the electronic ballast (5) being connected to the lamp (2). For detecting the efficiency values, a photosensor (3) can be used with which the brightness of the light (7) generated by the luminaire (2) can be detected.
