Abstract
Description
- The present invention relates to the electrical devices field and in particular to multiple sockets.
- As is well known, multi sockets with multiple receptiveness are in common use, because they have been on sale for many years.
- Most of these devices can equally hold bipolar plugs with 19 mm or 26 mm inter-axis in the socket.
- A lot of these devices have four or more sockets.
- Sockets are mainly sorted on a single row, but there are multi sockets arranged on two coupled rows to minimize multi socket length.
- The greatest restriction of these devices is that multi socket are extremely long and cumbersome, so users could not arrange the device rightly or where they would.
- Furthermore multi sockets should be placed 40 cm over the floor for safety reasons; that is the reason why multi sockets should be placed on furnitures, tables, desks etc...

Fig. 1A), 1B), 1C) and 1D ) show multi socket schematically, according to the invention, with six sockets and with a joint in the middle that allows to compact the multi socket. -
Fig.2A) and 2B ) show an application of the multi socket on a table, according to the invention. -
Fig 3A) and 3B ) show two multi socket application solutions according to the invention: the power cable joint allows to place the multi socket next to a wall (Fig. 3A ) or behind another similar multi socket. -
Fig.4A) and Fig.4B ) show multi socket, according to the invention, with suction caps equipped base that allows to attach easily the multi socket at a certain place. -
Fig 5A) and 5B ) show two axis movement of the power cable that allows the multi socket to be appropriately placed in any position. - The present invention allows to solve the positioning problem of the ordinary multi sockets when they have to be put in places not so consonant to multi sockets length and encumbrance.
- Furthermore multi sockets on sale have the power cable fixed and that prevents multi sockets sitting in certain places.
- The multi sockets (10),according to the invention, has two joints (11)(12):the first (11) in the central part allows users to bend and to make the multi socket compact. So the multi socket could be placed in any narrow place and it could be pitched getting to the wanted position.
- The second joint (12) is placed on the power cable (13), this joint is spherical and has two axis movement; it allows to place the multi socket very close to walls (14) or to desks and tables edges.
- Furthermore the present invention has suction caps (17) equipped base (16) that allows the multi socket to be placed firmly and supportive to the surface(15)(18).
- This constructive solution solves multi socket (10) positioning problems on tables (15) or on the floor (18) or on any surface and it avoids multi socket (10) and connected devices falling.(it ensures safety as well.)
- Furthermore the suction caps (17) are useful when the users have to unplug devices from multi socket (10), in this case that can be done by just one hand because multi socket stays attached to the surface (15)(18)on which it rests.
Claims (3)
- Electric multi socket (10) presenting one or more hinged joints (11) which allow to bend said multi socket (10) into two or more sections in order to make it compact or to bend it according to wanted angles.
- Electric multi socket (10), as in claim 1, wherein the power cable (13) is equipped with a two axis movement joint (12) allowing the cable (13) to bend in 4 different positions.
- Electric multi socket (10), as in claims 1 and 2,equipped with caption caps (17) on the base (16) in order to fix the multi socket (10) on any desired area (15) (18) and in any desired positions.
