Eine Verbindungsleitung nach der Erfindung ist beispielsweise für den Einsatz in Kraftfahrzeugen verwendbar. Sie kann beispielsweise zur Verbindung von Kontaktstellen am Lenkrad eines Kraftfahrzeugs mit am anderen Ende der Lenksäule befindlichen Kontaktstellen in einer hohlen Lenksäule angebracht sein. Die Verbindungsleitung kann dabei beispielsweise für den Auslösemechanismus eines Airbags oder als Verbindung zu den Elementen einer elektrischen Servolenkung eingesetzt werden. Sie kann auch als bewegliche Verbindungsleitung für elektrisch zu betätigende Dachfenster oder Schiebtüren von Kraftfahrzeugen verwendet werden.
