Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de décoration d'un substrat muni d'un revêtement en poudre consistant : (a) à traiter la surface d'un substrat à revêtir, (b) à appliquer une composition de revêtement en poudre sur la surface du substrat traitée et à polymériser la composition de revêtement en poudre et (c) à recouvrir le revêtement en poudre polymérisé d'un support comportant un décor et à transférer par chauffage le décor sur la surface du substrat revêtue. Selon l'invention, on utilise une composition de revêtement en poudre composée (A) de 30 à 80 % en poids d'un mélange d'au moins une résine polyester A présentant un indice hydroxyle compris entre 30 et 60 mg KOH/g, une masse molaire moyenne pondérale Mn comprise entre 3100 et 5000 et une température de transition vitreuse Tg comprise entre 40 et 60 °C et au moins une résine polyester B présentant un indice hydroxyle compris entre 250 et 350 mg KOH/g, une masse molaire moyenne pondérale Mn comprise entre 2000 et 3000, (B) de 10 à 40 % en poids d'au moins un durcisseur sélectionné dans le groupe constitué des diisocyanates, des polyisocyanates et des uréthdiones, et (C) de 0,01 à 40 % en poids d'au moins un additif, un pigment et/ou une charge pour le revêtement, le pourcentage étant fondé sur le poids total de la composition du revêtement en poudre, et le transfert par chauffage est effectué dans une plage de température comprise entre 160 °C et 220 °C. Le processus procure une surface de substrat revêtue de décors permanents et résistant très bien aux graffitis pendant de longues périodes.
