Abstract

Vorgeschlagen wird ein Bodenelement (100), das aus einem geformten Werkstoff besteht und eine Oberseite sowie eine Unterseite (120) mit einer Stützstruktur aufweist. Die Stützstruktur enthält Verstrebungen (121) und dazwischen liegende Flächen (122). Zur Aufnahme von Feuchtigkeit sind die Flächen (122) mit Oberflächen vergrößernden Elementen (123) versehen, die Erhebungen und/oder Vertiefungen darstellen können. Durch diese Maßnahme wird erreicht, dass Feuchtigkeit, welche sich unterhalb des Bodenelementes ansammeln könnte, sowohl von der Stützstruktur bzw. den Verstrebungen (121) wie auch von der vergrößerten Oberfläche der Flächen (122) aufgenommen wird. Somit wird verhindert, dass nur die Verstrebungen (121) aufquellen und somit das Bodenelement sich verziehen kann.
