    DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS
  • As shown in Fig. 1 and Fig.2, the sewing thread cone in the first embodiment of the sewing thread cone with thread locking and cutting functions according to the present invention comprises the bobbin 1 and the thread-cutting plate 2. Wherein the bobbin 1 further comprises a winding spool 11 and an outer shaft 12 that in a cylinder form and having a bottom, and connected with the winding spool 11 at an end. There is provided with a thread-passing notch 13 on the edge of the end of the outer shaft 12 which is close to the thread-cutting plate 2. The thread-passing notch 13 comprises two bevels tilting from top surface of the outer shaft 12 toward the winding spool 11, one being an acute-angled bevel while the other being an obtuse-angled bevel. The said acute-angled bevel forms an acute angle together with the ring where the lowest point of the thread-passing notch 13 is positioned. Similarly, said obtuse-angled bevel forms an obtuse angle with the ring where the lowest point of the thread-passing notch 13 is positioned. The bottom of the cylinder is connected with the winding spool 11, and the end closed to the thread-cutting plate 2 is its top surface. On the surface of the inner wall of the cylindrical outer shaft 12, a support ring 16 is provided. The support ring 16 is positioned on the surface of the inner wall of the outer shaft 12 and protrudes toward the circle center of the surface of the inner wall of the outer shaft 12. And the top surface of the support ring 16 is lower than that of the outer shaft 11, so as to facilitate installation of the thread-cutting plate 2 and make the thread-cutting plate 2 substantially align with the top surface of the outer shaft 12. In order to fix the thread-cutting plate 2 substantially, a plurality of fixing pillars 15 are further arranged on the surface of the inner wall of the outer shaft 11. In the first embodiment, there are three fixing pillars 15 arranged on the inner wall of the outer shaft 12 above the support ring 16, and protrude toward the axis of the cylinder. The fixing pillar 15 is perpendicular to the support ring 16 and positioned at different locations of the support ring 16.
  • In the first embodiment, the thread-cutting plate 2 includes a first bayonet socket 22, a second bayonet socket 23 and a fixing notch 21, and is punched from a metal sheet. Since there are three fixing pillars 15 on the outer shaft 11 in the first embodiment, the thread-cutting plate 2 also comprises three fixing notches 21 whose positions correspond to those of the three fixing pillars 15. These above mentioned fixing notches 21 are located at the edge of the thread-cutting plate 2, with sizes corresponding to those of the parts of the fixing pillars 15 beyond the support ring 16, so as to facilitate embedment of the thread-cutting plate 2 into the outer shaft 12 and fixation of the thread-cutting plate 2 in the outer shaft 12 by the support ring 16 and the fixing pillar 15. When the thread-cutting plate 2 is inserted into the outer shaft 12, the thread-passing notch 13 is positioned between the first bayonet socket 22 and the second bayonet socket 23, which is realized by cooperation among positions of the fixing notch 21 and fixing pillar 15, the position of the thread-passing notch 13 as well as the positions of the first bayonet socket 22 and second bayonet socket 23. In the first embodiment, the first bayonet socket 22 and the second bayonet socket 23 are punched on the thread-cutting plate 2, both being in an oval form not punched off, that is, when being punched, only a large part of the oval is separated from the thread-cutting plate 2, while the remaining part of the oval is still connected with the thread-cutting plate 2. The first bayonet socket 22 and the second bayonet socket 23 will be obtained by pulling up the part of the oval separated from the thread-cutting plate 2. For the first bayonet socket 22 and the second bayonet socket 23, their parts separated from the thread-cutting plate 2 (i.e. their convex parts) are in opposite directions when viewed from top of the thread-cutting plate 2 , e.g. one separated part is on the left while the other one on the right, as shown in Fig.4. Of course, the first bayonet socket 22 and the second bayonet socket 23 can also be in a circle or polygon form in actual applications.
  • In the first embodiment, as shown in Fig.3, when using the thread cone, the sewing thread winded around the thread cone, after passing through the thread-passing notch 13, wines through the first bayonet socket 22 and changes direction, then passes through the second bayonet socket 23, thus the user can pull and cut off the end of sewing thread. During the above process, said first bayonet socket 22 is used for tensioning the sewing thread, making a tension produced in the thread, and the second bayonet socket 23 is used for cutting off an end of the tensioned thread when the thread cone rotates and then fixing the new end of the thread.
  • The Fig.5 and Fig.6 are the top views of the thread cone of a second embodiment and a third embodiment of present invention respectively. The second embodiment and the third embodiment are the same with the first embodiment, except that the structure of the thread-cutting plate 2 is a little bit different. The difference between the thread-cutting plate 2 of the first embodiment and the thread-cutting plate 2 of the second embodiment is the position of the second bayonet socket 23, the position of the second bayonet socket 23 in the second embodiment is aiming at increasing the distance between the first bayonet socket 22 and the second bayonet socket 23, so as to make it convenient for the users to pick up the thread end. A third bayonet socket 25 is added in the third embodiment, which is far away from the first bayonet socket 22 and the second bayonet socket 23, then the sewing thread will pass through the first bayonet socket 22, the second bayonet socket 23 and the third bayonet socket 25 in sequence, which is likewise aiming at facilitating picking up the thread end by the user. Obviously, before being used, the sewing thread can also pass through the first bayonet socket 22 firstly, and then the third bayonet socket 25, and at last the second bayonet socket 23, it will receive the same effect.
