Claims (9)

  1. Timepiece movement (1) including a karussel (4) formed of a platform (5) arranged so as to rotate about an axis and carrying an escape wheel (6) and arranged to cooperate with a sprung balance (7), a gear train (31) meshed with a transmission wheel (17), carried by a barrel (18), and a time display mechanism (37) derived from said gear train (31), wherein said display mechanism is associated with a time-setting mechanism (30), characterized in that the sprung balance arbour is arranged at a distance from the axis of rotation of the platform and in that first and second means are implemented for respectively driving the platform (5) from the time display mechanism (37), and the escape wheel (6) from the gear train (31).
  2. Movement according to claim 1, characterized in that the time display mechanism (37) includes an hour wheel (9) carrying an hour indicator (2) and a cannon-pinion (10) carrying a minute indicator (3), the hour wheel (9) and the cannon-pinion (10) being connected by a motion wheel set (8).
  3. Movement according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the escape wheel (6) is located at the centre of rotation of the platform (5).
  4. Movement according to claim 1, characterized in that the gear train (31) includes a centre pinion (11) fitted with a centre wheel (12), which is meshed with a gear train (19) and arranged to drive the escape wheel (6) via a pinion (20) carried by an arbour (21) onto which said escape wheel (6) is fitted.
  5. Movement according to claim 2, characterized in that the motion wheel set (8) includes a first pinion (13) meshed with the hour wheel (9), a wheel (14) meshed with the cannon-pinion (10), and a second pinion (15) arranged for driving a toothing (16) secured to and arranged at the periphery of the platform (5).
  6. Movement according to claim 5, characterized in that the transmission ratio resulting from the meshing of the second pinion (15) of the motion work (8) on the toothing (16) of the platform (5) is selected such that the platform (5) makes one revolution in twenty-four hours.
  7. Movement according to claim 6, characterized in that the balance (7) is carried by an arbour (27) that pivots both in the platform (5) and in a balance bar (28), said balance bar being used as a twenty-four hour indicator.
  8. Timepiece including a movement according to claim 7, characterized in that the platform (5) is surmounted by a decoration (22) from which the balance (7) emerges, said decoration appearing partially through at least one aperture (23) made at 12 o'clock in the dial (24) of the timepiece (1).

Timepiece according to claim 8, characterized in that the platform (5) and its decoration (22) reveal through the aperture (23) of the dial (24) the diurnal and nocturnal periods of the day, the balance (7) representing the sun, i.e. the diurnal period of the day and the part opposite the balance carrying, on the decoration (22), a moon (25) and stars (26) representing the nocturnal period of the day.
