Claims (12)

  1. Plug connector (1) of plastics material for connecting hollow sections, particularly spacer hollow sections of metal, plastic or the like, for, in particular, multi-pane insulating glazing, wherein the plug connector (1) has a lower side, an upper side and sides and is provided at its sides with outwardly directed blades (5), wherein provided on the lower side of the plug connector is a plurality of elevations (9) arranged exclusively in the edge region of the lower side of the plug connector (1), at least one row (10, 11, 12, 13) of elevations being associated with each longitudinal half of the plug connector (1), wherein the elevations (9) are constructed as ramp inclines, and wherein each row (10, 11, 12, 13) of elevations (9) has therein a varying mutual spacing of the elevations (9) or wherein each row (10, 11, 12, 13) of elevations (9) has therein a constant mutual spacing of the elevations (9), characterised in that the rows (10, 11, 12, 13) of elevations have different spacings of the elevations (9) from one another.
  2. Plug connector according to claim 1, characterised in that the plug connector (1) is constructed as an angle connector, a cross connector, a longitudinal connector or a U-connector with a base surface (2), which forms the lower side of the plug connector, and two lateral webs (3, 4), which are articulated thereto and extend in longitudinal direction and which form the sides of the plug connector.
  3. Plug connector according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the elevations (9) are provided on a surface (14) arranged to be recessed relative to the base surface (2) of the plug connector (1), wherein the highest height of the elevations (9) is flush with the base surface (2) of the plug connector (1), is arranged thereunder or projects above the base surface (2).
  4. Plug connector according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the elevations (9) slightly project above the base surface (2).
  5. Plug connector according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that two rows (10, 11, 12, 13) of elevations (9) are associated with each longitudinal half.
  6. Plug connector according any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that an at least substantially smooth base surface (2) is provided between two mutually adjacent rows (10, 11, 12, 13) of elevations (9).
  7. Plug connector according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that abutments (6) predetermining an insertion length in the hollow sections to be connected are provided.
  8. Plug connector according to claim 7, characterised in that the abutments (6) are arranged in the region of the centre of the length of the connector (1), wherein the abutments (6) in the case of a U-connector can be provided at the outer sides of the lateral webs (3, 4).
  9. Plug connector according to claims 7 or 8, characterised in that a resilient compensating element (7) is provided in the region of the abutments (6).
  10. Plug connector according to any one of claims 2 to 9, characterised in that in the case of a U-connector the base surface (2) has at least one passage (8).
  11. Plug connector according to any one of claims 1 to 10, characterised in that in the case of a U-connector the lateral webs (3, 4) are adapted at least in the upper region to the contour of the hollow section to be connected and/or the lateral webs (3, 4) are formed to be chamfered in the upper region at the outer side.
  12. Plug connector according to any one of claims 8 to 11, characterised in that the lateral webs (3, 4) have a height reduction (15) in the upper region in the plug connector centre.
