The aim of the present invention is the realization of a digital and portable user manual (1) that is rich in content.

Description A USER MANUAL
[0001] The present invention relates to a user manual particularly of electrical devices.
[0002] The user is given a user manual together with the electronic appliances wherein the information on what one should do and not do while using the device; the details about the technical features of the appliance and various helpful tips about operating are described. In the state of the art, it's known various embodiments, this user manual is in the format of a pamphlet as well as being recorded in the memory of the household appliance and presented to the user in digital media on the display of the appliance.
[0003] In state of the art Korean Patent Applications No KR2002028Y43, KR2002022Y49, KR2002019307 and KR200Y0122818, a user's manual is described that is saved in the memory of the household appliance and viewed from the display of the appliance.
[0004] In another state of the art Korean Patent Application No KR200Y007888, an operating manual printout device is explained for printing the user's manuals of various household appliances connected through a network in accordance with the desire of the user.
[0005] However in these state of the art implementations, the information recorded in the user manual memory is limited by the memory and screen capacity of the household appliance. Therefore, elaborating the information explained in the user manual by various examples, making it more easily comprehensible by enriching the presentation visually and aurally is not possible. On the other hand, the user can not leave the household appliance and scrutinize the user manual in a different environment.
[0006] The aim of the present invention is to the realization of a digital and portable user manual that is rich in content.
[0007] The user manual realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is explicated in the attached claims.
[0008] The user manual of the present invention comprises a memory for recording the content to be demonstrated for the user, at least one control button for performing the desired functions and at least one transfer port for displaying and/or listening the content through another device.
[0009] The required information for using the appliance relating to the user manual can be recorded in the memory in the format of text, picture, sound, video or etc. by the producer. Thus long and unclear information can be explained lucidly and practically.
[0010] When the user wants to view the information recorded in the user manual, the user manual is connected with the transfer port to another device for viewing, for example a computer or television. Then the user views the desired information contained in the user manual over this device.

[0022] In the memory of the user manual (1) information is recorded relating to the use of the appliance by the producer. This information can be saved in text format, or can also be recorded as sound, pictures (images), video or similar format so that the user comprehension of the functions is facilitated.
[0023] The transmitting device (Y) can be device such as a computer, television, radio or the like for demonstrating the information to the user visually or aurally when the user manual (1) is connected.
[0024] The transfer port (3) can be a USB or firewire output for viewing from a computer or similar device (Y) or can be an RF or scart output as well for watching from a television or similar devices (Y).
[0025] When the user wants to view the information recorded in the user manual (1), the user manual (1) is connected with the transfer port (3) to the transmitting device (Y) for viewing. Then the user views the desired information contained in the user manual (1) over this device.

[0001] A user manual (1) comprising a memory wherein various information relating to the use of the appliance is recorded and at least one transfer port (3) for displaying and/or listening the information through the transmitting device (Y). [0002] A user manual (1) as in Claim 1, characterized by the memory wherein the information is recorded in at least one of the formats of text, picture, sound, or video. [0003] A user manual (1) as in Claim 1 or 2 characterized by the transfer port (3) with the qualification of transferring data to the computer. [0004] A user manual (1) as in Claim 1 or 2, characterized by the transfer port (3) that is a USB output. [0005] A user manual (1) as in Claim 1 or 2 characterized by the transfer port (3) with the qualification of transferring data to the television. [0006] A user manual (1) as in Claim 1 or 2, characterized by the transfer port (3) that is an RF output. [0007] A user manual (1) as in any one of the above claims, characterized by a display screen (4) for viewing the information recorded in the memory without requiring to be connected to a transmitting device (Y). [0008] A user manual (1) as in any one of the above claims, characterized by at least one control button (2) for controlling thereof. [0009] A user manual (1) as in any one of the above claims, characterized by the memory wherein the required information relating to operating a washing machine is recorded. [0010] A user manual (1) as in any one of the above claims, characterized by the memory wherein the required information relating to operating a refrigerator is recorded. [0011] A user manual (1) as in any one of the above claims, characterized by the memory wherein the required information relating to operating a dishwasher is recorded. [0012] A user manual (1) as in any one of the above claims, characterized by the memory wherein the required information relating to operating a cooking device is recorded. [0013] A user manual (1) as in any one of the above claims, characterized by the memory wherein the required information relating to operating a vacuum cleaner is recorded.
