Description
- The present invention relates generally to a LED lamp, and more particularly to an innovative one which is designed with an improved lampshade.
- A LED lamp generally comprises a main body, LED module, heat-radiating component and lampshade.
- The lampshade of LED lamp is generally developed from traditional light shield. However, LEDs in LED lamp are distributed in spotted state, so every LED is fitted with a light-reflection module to magnify the light spots, soften the bright light and generate spotted decorative effect. But, the assembly and disassembly work shall be considered since every light-reflection module must be positioned securely.
- Regarding related inventions, such as
DE20310313U1 ,DE10333907A1 , the former discloses a light refractive block with LED that comprises annular sleeving structure, and the latter discloses a light refractive block with LED that comprises a light transmitting plate and joint pressing positioning structure; these two inventions still have some problems, such as the annular plate, lighting transmitting plate, and lamp housing are connected by tight insertion, which may have problems of deviation or overly tightly or loose; if too tight, it may be difficult to assemble or dissemble, and if too lose, it may be easily loosen or fall off; moreover, the surfaces of the light refractive blocks are exposed outside of the housing surface in both inventions, thus the light may be harsh to users' eyes. - The
US 2007/0133209 discloses a fixture of a light reflection module consisting of a lampshade that has a central opening which edge is axially in contact with the edge of the light reflection module and that is fixed on its outer edge to the main body by a snap fit. - Thus, to overcome the aforementioned problems of the prior art, it would be an advancement if the art to provide an improved structure that can significantly improve the efficacy.
- Therefore, the inventor has provided the present invention of practicability after deliberate design and evaluation based on years of experience in the production, development and design of related products.
- The enhanced efficacy of the present invention is as follows:
- Through the structural design of the lampshade combining circumferential locating edge , limitation surface, through-hole and snapping portion, the circumferential locating edge is adapted with the wall edge of the hold tank, providing the lampshade with a reliable, circular support surface; the limitation surface of the lampshade is recessed into inner edge of the circumferential locating edge, permitting the light-emitting surface of light-reflection module to recess slightly, and making it aesthetically pleasing; the through-hole on the limitation surface of lampshade enables rapid sleeving and limitation of the light-reflection modules; with the design of lampshade's circumferential locating edge and snapping portion on the wall edge of the hold tank, the lampshade and main body could be positioned and removed rapidly and easily; thus, the lampshade is designed in such a manner that the light-reflection module could be positioned securely and removed easily.
- 1. Based upon the structural design that the circumferential locating edge of the lampshade is designed with a stepped external wall with big and small necks, and the wall edge of the hold tank designed with a stepped inner wall with big and small treads, the coupling area of the lampshade's circumferential locating edge and the wall edge of hold tank could be further expanded for better assembly and positioning effect.
- 2. Based upon the structural design that a shoulder is formed at one end of the light-reflection module, it could be located in the through-hole of the limitation surface of the lampshade to further fix securely the light-reflection modules.
- Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.
-
- FIG. 1
- shows an assembled perspective view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
- FIG. 2
- shows an exploded perspective view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
- FIG. 3
- shows an exploded sectional view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
- FIG. 4
- shows an assembled sectional view of the preferred embodiment of the present invention.
- FIG. 5
- shows a partially enlarged view of portion B of
FIG.4 . - The features and the advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood upon a thoughtful deliberation of the following detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.
-
FIGS. 1∼ 4 depict preferred embodiments of improved lampshade of LED lamp of the present invention, which, however, are provided for only explanatory objective for patent claims; saidlampshade 10 is assembled onto theport 31 ofhold tank 30 on themain body 20 of LED lamp A (an embedded light structure), so that light-reflection modules 50 located betweenport 31 ofhold tank 30 andLED modules 40 in thehold tank 30 are positioned securely; saidlampshade 10, comprising a circumferential locatingedge 11 and alimitation surface 12, of which the circumferential locatingedge 11 is adapted with the wall edge ofhold tank 30 to define aninner edge 111 and anexternal edge 112; saidlimitation surface 12 is recessed intoinner edge 111 of the circumferential locatingedge 11; thelimitation surface 12 is provided with several through-holes 120 for sleeving and limitation of the light-reflection modules 50; the circumferential locatingedge 11 and the wall edge ofhold tank 30 are coupled withsnapping portion 60; referring toFIGS. 3 ,4 , thesnapping portion 60 comprises a few locatingflanges 61 arranged at interval on the circumferential locatingedge 11 of thelampshade 10, and acircular snapping groove 62 on the wall edge ofhold tank 30 of themain body 20; when thelampshade 10 is mounted into thehold tank 30 ofmain body 20, it could be snapped rapidly into thecircular snapping groove 62 via the locatingflange 61 for positioning purpose. - The circumferential locating
edge 11 of thelampshade 10 is designed with a stepped external wall with big and small necks, and the wall edge of thehold tank 30 is designed with a stepped inner wall with big and small treads. - A shoulder is formed at one end of the light-
reflection module 50, so that it could be located in the through-hole 120 of thelimitation surface 12 of thelampshade 10 to fix securely the light-reflection modules 50. - Based upon above-specified structural design, the present invention is operated as follows:
- Referring to
FIGS. 3 ,4 , when theport 31 of thehold tank 30 of themain body 20 faces upwards, the light-reflection modules 50 are firstly placed intohold tank 30 of themain body 20 oppositely to the LEDs onLED module 40, then thelampshade 10 is assembled into theport 31 of thehold tank 30 of themain body 20; in such case, the light-reflection modules 50 are fastened into the through-hole 120 on thelimitation surface 12 of thelampshade 10 and also positioned through the circumferential locatingedge 11 of thelampshade 10 and snappingportion 60 on the wall edge of thehold tank 30, thus bothlampshade 10 and light-reflection module 50 are fixedly assembled and positioned with themain body 20.
