Definitions
- the invention relates to an arrangement for closing an end portion of a pipe or a tubular container with a pointing to the tube arranged sealing plate and pointing away from the tube arranged front plate, wherein in the outer region of the plates, a circumferential seal is arranged, which, at least partially, between each other facing sides of the plates is located.
- Such closure arrangements are known. They are used for example in tubular containers for receiving membrane filters in the water treatment. They are arranged in the end region of the tubular container and are held when exposed to the interior of the container with a medium under pressure in the end portion. Between the front plate and the sealing plate is a seal which causes a seal of the space between the plates and the inner wall of the container. The seal is located in a groove disposed in or between the plates. By applying the pressure to the inside of the sealing plate with a pressurized medium pressing the seal against the inner wall of the container. When the pressure on the sealing plate is reduced below a limit value, the seal also relaxes, so that liquid can pass through the sealing area when it is again exposed, until an optimal sealing effect is again produced. This is particularly problematic when it comes to the pressurized media are environmentally hazardous chemicals, or if it must be avoided that, due to the purity of the medium acted on, impurities get into the interior of the container.
- Another embodiment of the prior art provides for the use of an O-ring in the groove.
- This insert requires a large bias or pre-pressing of the closure relative to the tube, which can only be achieved by a complex special tool insert.
- the problem here are the integration and especially the expansion of the closure, especially for large pipe diameters.
- a pipe locking device which serves for closing an end portion of a pipe.
- This tube locking device serves to complete the two tubes that open into each other in a Gulli,
- the shut-off device is stretched through the entire Gulli, with a support plate over the tube opening of the drain comes to rest, while the opposite tube is closed by a plug , So that a shut-off according to US 4,687,026 can be used, it requires a the pipe to be closed opposite wall.
- US 5,230,437 describes a device for opening and closing tubular components of container storage units for storing liquids.
- the device comprises a seal which is arranged between two rings. By tightening a bolt, the two annular plates are moved towards each other, the seal being compressed and expanding radially towards the tube wall. Thus, a seal is done, therefore human intervention is required.
- WO 2004/057230 A1 is also a device for sealing a pipe, preferably a gas line known.
- an expandable plug is inserted from one end of the conduit into the tube by using a narrow extension tube which is connected to the plug via a bayonet closure.
- the plug comprises two opposite side walls, between which an elastomeric material is arranged.
- the two side walls are connected by a locking screw. By tightening the screw, the two side walls are moved towards each other, whereby the elastomeric material on the two open sides of the plug, ie in the direction of the tube walls, is pushed out, whereby the tube is closed.
- the application of the device requires tact and even here, a closure of the tube can be achieved only by immediately preceding human impact.
- a membrane module for a membrane separation plant is described, which is pressure-tight to the open end of a pressure tube, without the need of cuffs, etc. is required.
- a device according to the DE 36 39 932 A1 it is not suitable for closing the end portion of a pipe.
- the object is achieved in that at least one of the mutually facing sides of the plates in the sealing region, a projection is arranged, which causes a pressure deformation on the sealing plate deformation of the seal in the direction of the inner wall of the tube or tubular container to obtain a sealing effective increase , and that a clamping element is provided; with which the deformation of the seal caused by the application is maintainable in the non-pressurized state of the sealing plate, and the seal is a lip seal, in which a groove is provided in the region for attaching the seal, wherein the groove on the sealing plate and / or or is arranged on the front panel and the projection is wedge-shaped.
- the invention provides that with a lip seal, an improved sealing effect can be achieved. Furthermore, at the ends of the lip seal formations may be provided which cause a seal reinforcement.
- the invention provides that the projection is wedge-shaped. This is advantageous because a more metered application of the deformation in the seal can be achieved.
- the projection can also be arranged on both sides of the plates and thus compress the seal from both sides.
- Another teaching of the invention provides that the seal is wider than the groove. By providing a wider seal, an improved sealing effect can be achieved.
- the clamping element acts against the front panel and locks it against the sealing plate. In this way can be achieved in a simple manner maintaining the deformation of the seal and thus the sealing effect against the inner wall of the tube or the tubular container.
- the clamping element is a nut. Particularly preferred is when the nut is screwed onto a projection of the sealing plate, which passes through the front plate. It is particularly preferred in this case if the projection is designed to be movable relative to the front panel. This provides a simple and inexpensive embodiment to provide.
- it is possible to effect locking by simply screwing the nut against the faceplate, with hand-tight screwing sufficient to provide a sealing effect.
- the arrangement is held by abutment in the tube or tubular container. It is preferred that it is the abutment is a retaining ring which engages in a recess in the pipe or tubular container. Particularly preferably, the abutment consists of segments. The abutment is particularly preferably medium locking with the Front panel connected. In this way, a simple connection of the arrangement with the inner wall of the tube or tubular container is achieved.
- the seal can be prestressed by means of a tensioning element.
- a first biasing of the clamping element for example, before the first start, a first deformation of the seal against the inside of the tube or tubular container is effected and thus generates a first sealing effect.
- FIG. 1 shows a sectional view of an inventive arrangement 10.
- the assembly 10 consists of a sealing plate 11 and a front plate 13, which touch on the outwardly facing wall 36 of the sealing plate and the inwardly facing wall 35 of the front panel 13.
- a groove 19 is provided, into which a seal 12 is inserted.

- the sealing plate 11 further includes a terminal portion 27 directed away from the face plate 13. Inside the connecting portion 27 and the projection 26, a channel 25 is provided, which is passed through the entire sealing plate 11.
- the outer end of the projection 26 is provided with a threaded portion 23.
- a clamping element 16 in the form screwed on a nut.
- the nut 16 is in the fully screwed state with a front surface 38 of the front panel 13 in contact.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an arrangement for closing an end portion of a pipe or a tubular container with a pointing to the tube arranged sealing plate and pointing away from the tube arranged front plate, wherein in the outer region of the plates, a circumferential seal is arranged, which, at least partially, between each other facing sides of the plates is located.
Such closure arrangements are known.
Another embodiment of the prior art provides for the use of an O-ring in the groove. This insert requires a large bias or pre-pressing of the closure relative to the tube, which can only be achieved by a complex special tool insert. The problem here are the integration and especially the expansion of the closure, especially for large pipe diameters.

It is an object of the invention to provide an arrangement for closing an end portion of a pipe or a tubular container, with the passage of the medium either from the container or into the container is avoided and a simple installation and removal without large special tool insert.
The object is achieved in that at least one of the mutually facing sides of the plates in the sealing region, a projection is arranged, which causes a pressure deformation on the sealing plate deformation of the seal in the direction of the inner wall of the tube or tubular container to obtain a sealing effective increase , and that a clamping element is provided; with which the deformation of the seal caused by the application is maintainable in the non-pressurized state of the sealing plate, and the seal is a lip seal, in which a groove is provided in the region for attaching the seal, wherein the groove on the sealing plate and / or or is arranged on the front panel and the projection is wedge-shaped.
By providing the projection in the sealing area, a larger deformation of the seal is effected. The deformation is provided even when only small pressures act on the inside of the sealing plate. When the pressurization is fully effected, the deformation of the gasket can be easily maintained even in the case that the pressurization of the inside of the sealing plate is reduced by the biasing member.
At the same time a simple installation and a simple removal of the arrangement according to the invention are possible. Since no pre-pressing is necessary, the installation is powerless and essentially non-contact with respect to the pipe. The seal is effected by pressurizing the seal plate, thereby deforming the seal. The expansion is also powerless and essentially contact-free, since in the pressurized state, the clamping element is released, which is possible in a simple manner. Subsequently, the pressurization is lifted onto the sealing plate, whereby the arrangement is without bias in the tube and can be removed because no pre-pressing is present.
The invention provides that with a lip seal, an improved sealing effect can be achieved. Furthermore, at the ends of the lip seal formations may be provided which cause a seal reinforcement.
By providing a groove, a better attachment of the seal and a simultaneously improved sealing effect can be achieved.
The invention provides that the projection is wedge-shaped. This is advantageous because a more metered application of the deformation in the seal can be achieved. The projection can also be arranged on both sides of the plates and thus compress the seal from both sides. Another teaching of the invention provides that the seal is wider than the groove. By providing a wider seal, an improved sealing effect can be achieved.
Furthermore, it is advantageous that the clamping element acts against the front panel and locks it against the sealing plate. In this way can be achieved in a simple manner maintaining the deformation of the seal and thus the sealing effect against the inner wall of the tube or the tubular container. It is advantageous if the clamping element is a nut. Particularly preferred is when the nut is screwed onto a projection of the sealing plate, which passes through the front plate. It is particularly preferred in this case if the projection is designed to be movable relative to the front panel. This provides a simple and inexpensive embodiment to provide. In addition, when providing a nut, it is possible to effect locking by simply screwing the nut against the faceplate, with hand-tight screwing sufficient to provide a sealing effect.
Another teaching of the invention provides that the arrangement is held by abutment in the tube or tubular container.
Another teaching of the invention provides that the seal can be prestressed by means of a tensioning element. By a first biasing of the clamping element, for example, before the first start, a first deformation of the seal against the inside of the tube or tubular container is effected and thus generates a first sealing effect.

In a first installation of the
Subsequently, either pressurization of the membrane filter can take place, so that pressure is built up on the
Alternatively, before pressure builds up on the
Furthermore, the connecting
