Abstract

La présente invention concerne une palette comportant un plateau (3) et des patins formant supports, caractérisée par le fait que le plateau (1) comprend deux panneaux superposés liés l'un à l'autre, un panneau inférieur (4) et un panneau supérieur (5), le panneau inférieur (4) comprenant deux demi panneaux adjacents sur au moins un des côtés et non liés le long dudit côté, une bande d'arrachement (6) étant intégrée au panneau supérieur et au moyen de laquelle ledit panneau supérieur est susceptible d'être divisé en deux demi panneaux supérieurs, chaque ensemble d'un demi panneau inférieur et supérieur formant ainsi le plateau d'une demi palette.

Description

  • La présente invention concerne une palette rectangulaire ou de forme semblable dont au moins le plateau est en carton et pouvant être divisé en deux demi-palettes.
  • Pour le transport ou la manutention d'objets de toute nature mais généralement lourds ou encombrants, on utilise des palettes constituées d'un plateau pourvu sur la face inférieure de plots agencés pour transmettre la charge au sol sur lequel elles sont posées. Les plots sont disposés de manière à permettre le passage de la fourche d'un engin de manutention entre le plateau et le sol. Les palettes sont couramment en bois mais on trouve aussi des palettes dont le plateau est en carton ondulé épais et les plots aussi en carton avec des renforts pour en améliorer la résistance à la charge verticale.
  • Plusieurs types de palettes ont été proposés dans la technique, ces palettes sont au format standard avec un chargement fonction de la nature des objets concerné mais de volume total aussi élevé que possible pour optimiser le transport. Ces palettes sont inadaptées pour les déplacements en faible quantité de charges de faible volume ou de petites dimensions. Il existe pour cela des palettes divisibles qui offrent une certaine flexibilité à l'usage en permettant de séparer un chargement initial sur une palette en deux palettes de plus petites dimensions et pouvant être dirigées dans des directions différentes. L'avantage est de ne pas avoir à décharger la palette initiale avant la destination finale des produits. La difficulté pour ce type de palette réside dans le lien entre les deux demi palettes qui doit pouvoir être rompu ou désolidarisé aisément sans avoir à procéder à des manipulations complexe voire dangereuses.
  • La présente invention vise une structure de palette du type standard, qui peut être utilisée pour le transport d'objets de toute nature, lourds et volumineux, et manipulée à l'aide d'une fourche d'un engin de manutention et qui peut être divisée pour permettre la répartition des objets en deux demi palettes.
  • Le déposant s'est fixé comme objectif la réalisation d'une palette de taille standard, essentiellement ou uniquement en carton, avec un moyen de division de la palette standard en deux demi-palettes pratique et fiable.
  • La palette conformément à l'invention comportant un plateau et des plots formant supports est caractérisée par le fait que le plateau comprend deux panneaux superposés liés l'un à l'autre, un panneau inférieur et un panneau supérieur, le panneau inférieur comprenant deux demi panneaux adjacents sur au moins un côté et non liés le long dudit côté, une bande d'arrachement étant intégrée au panneau supérieur et au moyen de laquelle ledit panneau supérieur est susceptible d'être divisé en deux demi panneaux supérieurs, chaque ensemble d'un demi panneau inférieur et supérieur formant ainsi le plateau d'une demi palette.
  • Une bande d'arrachement est réalisée en un matériau suffisamment résistant à la traction pour qu'il ne rompe pas en usage normal. La bande est en outre agencée de façon à assurer la découpe du carton par simple traction sur elle-même.
  • Selon l'invention la bande d'arrachement comprend une partie solidaire du panneau supérieur et une partie solidaire d'une partie découpée du panneau inférieur. Cette dernière est ménagée entre les deux demi panneaux inférieurs.
  • Conformément à l'invention une extrémité de la bande d'arrachement est munie d'un onglet. Ledit onglet est constitué, par exemple, d'une découpe en forme de V, et est positionné en bordure du plateau sur le panneau inférieur.
  • Selon une autre caractéristique le panneau supérieur est pourvu d'une encoche positionnée en bord du plateau.
  • Selon un mode de réalisation de l'invention le plateau est formé d'une plaque repliée en son centre suivant un axe XX pour créer un panneau supérieur et un panneau inférieur, les panneaux supérieur et inférieur étant collés entre eux.
    • La figure 1 représente une première palette conforme à l'invention, dans laquelle les deux demi-palettes sont solidaires l'une avec l'autre.
    • La figure 2 est une vue d'une palette conforme à l'invention munie d'une bande arrachement sur le panneau supérieur.

  • Telle que présentée sur la figure 1, la palette 1 conforme à l'invention est constituée d'un plateau 3 rectangulaire en carton ondulé. Le plateau repose sur des patins 8 renforcés par des plots. Dans une palette tout carton les plots sont par exemple en forme de mandrins cylindriques. Les patins sont disposés sur la surface inférieure du plateau de manière à ce qu'une fourche puise être glissée sous le plateau afin de pouvoir déplacer la palette,
  • Selon le mode de réalisation présenté le plateau est formé d'une large plaque de carton ondulé que l'on a plié en deux autour de la ligne de pliage 45, comme on peut le voir sur la figure 2. Le plateau est ainsi composé d'un panneau inférieur 4 et d'un panneau supérieur 5. Les panneaux sont liés entre eux par des moyens connus tel que collage, agrafages ou d'autres moyens de liaisons.
  • Conformément à l'invention, on a incorporé dans le carton une bande d'arrachement 6 perpendiculairement à la ligne de pliage 45 et en son milieu, comme on le voit sur la figure 3.
  • La bande d'arrachement, montrée plus en détail sur la figure 4, est avantageusement constituée de deux bandes 61 et 62 collées, l'une 61 à l'extérieur sur la feuille de couverture 31 de la plaque de carton ondulé 3 et l'autre 62 est collée sur la face intérieure de la feuille de couverture opposée 32, entre cette dernière et la feuille ondulée 33. Ce type de bande d'arrachement est connu en soi. En tirant sur l'ensemble des deux bandes 61 et 62 formant la bande 6, on déchire aisément, sans effort et proprement la plaque de carton. La bande est formée d'un matériau plastique éventuellement fibreux pour ne pas se rompre au moment de l'arrachement.
  • Dans la position de la bande d'arrachement située dans le panneau 4 de la plaque 3, formant le panneau inférieur, le panneau est découpé le long et de part et d'autre de la bande d'arrachement. Cette découpe ménage une bande 7 le long de laquelle les deux demi panneaux ainsi définis sont libres. La bande est élargie sur le bord 41 du panneau opposé à la ligne de pliage 45. La partie élargie constitue un onglet 71. Du côté de la ligne 45 la découpe est également élargie et définit une amorce 72 d'arrachement. Une encoche 73 est découpée sur le bord libre opposé 51.
  • La figure 5 montre le bord de la palette avant sa division, la partie avec onglet étant agrandie. L'onglet 71 du panneau inférieur 4 est accessible par la découpe de l'encoche 73 du panneau supérieur 5.
  • Pour diviser la palette en deux, on se place sur le bord de la palette du côté 41-51 qui comporte l'onglet 71. On glisse un doigt dans l'orifice 71' et on tire l'onglet vers soi. La bande d'arrachement 6 subit une traction parallèle au plateau depuis l'amorce 72 entraînant la découpe du panneau supérieur 5. Lorsque la bande est complètement séparée du panneau, la palette est divisée en deux demi palettes. Les plots sont de préférence disposés symétriquement par rapport à la ligne formée par la bande de manière à ce que l'on obtienne deux demi palettes identiques.
  • On a décrit un mode de réalisation de l'invention permettant la division d'une palette en deux demi palettes. L'invention couvre également en 3, 4 ou plus par subdivision de palettes.

Claims (8)

  1. Palette comportant un plateau (3) et des patins formant supports, caractérisée par le fait que le plateau (3) comprend deux panneaux superposés liés l'un à l'autre, un panneau inférieur (4) et un panneau supérieur (5), le panneau inférieur (4) comprenant deux demi panneaux adjacents sur au moins un des côtés et non liés le long dudit côté, une bande d'arrachement (6) étant intégrée au panneau supérieur et au moyen de laquelle ledit panneau supérieur est susceptible d'être divisé en deux demi panneaux supérieurs, chaque ensemble d'un demi panneau inférieur et supérieur formant ainsi le plateau d'une demi palette.
  2. Palette selon la revendication 1, dont la bande d'arrachement (6) comprend une première partie solidaire du panneau supérieur (5).
  3. Palette selon la revendication 1, dont la bande d'arrachement (6) comprend une seconde partie solidaire d'une partie découpée (7) du panneau inférieur (4) ladite partie découpée étant ménagée entre les deux demi panneaux inférieurs.
  4. Palette selon la revendication 3 dont lesdites deux parties de la bande d'arrachement (6) sont superposées et retenues l'une à l'autre par une extrémité.
  5. Palette selon l'une des revendications précédente, dont une extrémité de la bande d'arrachement (6) est munie d'un onglet (71).
  6. Palette selon la revendication 5, dont l'onglet (71) est formé d'une découpe en forme de V dans le panneau inférieur, et positionné en bordure du plateau (3).
  7. Palette selon les revendications 5 et 6, dont le panneau supérieur (5) est pourvu d'une encoche (73) positionnée en bord du plateau.
  8. Palette selon la revendication 1, dont le plateau (3) est formé d'une plaque repliée en son centre suivant un axe XX pour créer un panneau supérieur (5) et un panneau inférieur (4), les panneaux étant collé entre eux.
