Abstract

The crane has a beam including ends each resting on a gooseneck pole to form an assembly. A carriage is mounted on a ball-bearing runner and guided by rollers, where the carriage circulates on the assembly. The carriage is moved in translation by a pinion/ floating rack driving system that is limited in its course by mechanical stops with shock absorber blocks. The carriage has an articulated side (10) and another side with a load sensor (11). A gear motor acts as a winch (1), and is installed between the sides of the carriage to permit measurement of load (25) suspended to the winch.
