The interface comprises a shim (2) inserted in a spring support (4) or an adapter (3) placed in a leading tube (6), whereby the shim (2) as well as the adapter (3) fit into a component (1) fitted on the upper end of the hydrospring and the spring support (4) and the leading tube (6) are connected with the running gear frame (9).

Description

Interface connecting hydrospring with rail vehicle running gear
Field of invention
The field of invention is a part of railway transport and its concern is the interface that insures connection of hydrospring (rubber-metal spring with hydraulic damper) and rail vehicle running gear.
Present technology status
Suspension by hydrospring has been promoting in the field of rail vehicles mainly because of its dynamic properties that improve the working quality in a distinct way. Beside the dynamic properties its application has to fulfil condition of simple and troublefree maintenance, change and level adjustability.
Three applications of hydrospring use are known in trailing rail vehicles at the present time. One known application of hydrospring use is solved in a way that the bearing support - chair is welded to bogie frame. The hydrospring basis is screwed to the chair. Flexible part of hydrospring leans on bracket of bearing chamber. The level adjustability of bogie is possible only by inserting a board between hydrospring basis and chair.
In the second solution the basis of the hydrospring is screwed directly to the bottom table of bogie frame. The flexible part of hydrospring leans on bracket of bearing chamber. The level adjustability of bogie is possible only by inserting a board between hydrospring basis and bottom table.
The third solution represents the application of hydrospring into a bodgie type Y25. Compact casting for both springs serves as anchoring element that is welded to bogie frame. The hydrospring basis is screwed to the bottom surface of casting. The flexible part of hydrospring leans on bracket of bearing chamber. The level adjustability of bogie is possible only by inserting a board between the hydrospring basis and the bottom surface of casting.
The nature of the invention
The nature of this invention is a new interface that connects the hydrospring with rail vehicle running gear. The hydrospring is an integrated part of axlebox and its basis is tight fixed with the body of axlebox and to its flexible top running gear is placed, whereby the top of the hydrospring flexible part is ended by component with a shape fitting, preferably with a plate including the shape fitting that is in touch with components of running gear, whereby this interlace contains a shim inserted in spring support and/or adapter placed in leading tube, whereby the shim and adapter fit into a component with shape fitting and spring support and leading tube are connected to running gear.
The shim contains preferably a flange which leans on face of spring support. The nature of this invention is also that the face of spring support is directly leaned on surface of component with shape fitting preferably trough pad placed between component with shape fitting and bottom of spring support.
The nature of the invention is that adapter is connected preferably with load sensor in the top part of adapter, whereby the upside surface of adapter is fitted to the type of load sensor. This interlace contains preferably a circular plate placed between adapter and leading tube.
Further nature of the invention is placing of interfaces. Those are placed from front or back side toward the wheelset, nearer to headstock or transom. The nature of the invention is placing of interlaces toward the wheelset from the inside or outside too.
The advantage of this application is its simple change and level adjustability, plumbless simplicity and troublefree maintenance. Another advantage is also the variability of interlace usage.
Summary of figures in drawings
The figure No. 1 represents the position of the interface connecting hydrospring with rail vehicle running gear without load sensor. At figure No. 2 the situation of the interface connecting hydrospring with the load sensor is set. Figure No. 3 represents the interface connecting hydrospring with running gear of rail vehicle, whereby the load sensor is placed above the hydrospring located nearer to the headstock and at the figure No. 4 is the interface connecting the hydrospring with running gear, whereby the load sensor is placed above the hydrospring located nearer to transom. The figure No. 5 represents the overview of freight railway bogie with new interlaces that connect the hydrosprings with running gear which in this case represents the bogie frame.
Application examples
Example 1
The hydrosprings 7 are an integrated part of axlebox 8. Their basis is thight connected to the body of axlebox 8, to its flexible upside part the running gear is placed by an interface. The flexible part of hydrospring 7 is ended in its top by component 1. containing the shape fitting /f.e. plate/ that is in contact with the interface and in that way prevents against horizontal (transverse) feed. The interface connecting the hydrospring 7 with running gear 9 contains shim 2 according to the new solution, on that shim the support 4 of string (figure No. 1) and/or adapter 3 placed in leading tube 6 is leaning, whereby it is preferably moved by circular plate 5 (figure No. 2). In both cases, that means the shim 2 and the adapter 3 as well fit into component 1. with the shape fitting, throug which the load is transfered from rail vehicle to the body of hydrospring 7 and further through the axle chamber 8, wheelset 11 into rail. The shim 2 contains preferably flange. By simple placing of the running gear 9, i.e. by placig without the load sensor 10 the shim 2 leans preferably on the support 4 of the spring with its flange, the spring support is fixed on running gear, in this case welded on the running gear 9. By placing the load sensor 10 to the upside surface of adapter 3 the adapter is adapted to the type of load sensor and is preferably moved by circular plate 5 in the leading tube, that is fixed, in this case welded on running gear 9. It is possible to sut up the level adjustability of the running gear 9 by change of shim 2 length in its bottom part under the flange and/or change of adapter _3 length at the same time.
The location and amount of single interfaces in the running gear 9 makes no difference, whether with the load sensor 10 or without. It is possible to use the mentioned interfaces preferably in the running gear 9, f.e. in bogie, at any place toward the wheelset.ll, as it can be seen at figure No. 3 and No. 4. The figure No. 3 represents application of hydrospring 7 in running gear 9 with the load sensor 10 placed over the hydrospring 7 located nearer to the headstock 12 whereas at figure No.4 it is located nearer to the transom 13.
Example 2 The hydrospring 7 is connected to the running gear 9 through the interfaces similarly to the exmaple 1. Alternative to example 1 the shim 2 has a simple shape without flange and the front of the spring support 4 leans directly on component 1. surface with the shape fitting, f.e. form of plate. If needed the requested level of running gear 9 can be set up by inserting a pad 14 of corresponding thickness between the component 1. with the shape fitting and the front of spring support 4 (analogic versin as can be found at figure No. 1 but the shim 2 has the shape without flange and instead of that flange is preferably situated a pad 14). It makes no difference whether the load sensor 10 is placed outside or inside of the wheel.
