Abstract

A bomb explosive filling comprising a charge of explosive and a charge of an inert material.
By varying the ratio of an inert material to an explosive filling in the same bomb, it is possible to provide the end user with a selection of weapons effects whilst retaining typically the same bomb case and requiring no further military aircraft integration.
A method of filling a bomb using such a charge is also disclosed.
