Erfindungsgemäß ist ein Transponder im Innern des Griffs vom Erl beabstandet positioniert, insbesondere befindet sich zwischen Erl und Transponder ein Bereich aus dem Material aus dem der Griff hergestellt ist. Der Transponder ist bevorzugt vollständig vom Griff umschlossen. Dazu kann der Griff aus zumindest zwei Griffteilen, oder zumindest in zwei Spritzgussschritten, hergestellt sein. Ein erstes Griffteil dient dabei zur vom Erl beabstandeten Positionierung des Transponders im Griff bei dessen Herstellung. Der Transponder kann auch durch Eingießen, z.B. Kunststoffspritzgießen, im Griff positioniert sein. - Method for producing a knife (1) having a handle (5), preferably of plastics material, into which a passive transponder (6) is introduced, the blade (3) of the knife (1) being secured to the handle (5) by a tang (4) being at least partially surrounded by the handle (5), characterised by the method steps of:- providing a first handle portion (7, 9),- fitting the transponder (6), preferably to the first handle portion (7, 9), spaced-apart from the tang (4) and- finishing the knife (1) by completing the handle (5) by fitting at least a second handle portion (8, 11), the transponder (6) being surrounded by the handle portions (7, 9, 8, 11),
the handle (5) being finished by the first handle portion (7) with the transponder (6) and the tang (4) fitted thereto being moulded in or around. - Method according to claim 1,
characterised in that
the first handle portion is provided as a loose injection-moulding component, the transponder (6) being fitted in the injection-moulding component and the loose injection-moulding component being secured to the tang (4), preferably by the injection-moulding component being clamped. - Method according to claim 1,
characterised in that
a spacer element (7) is provided as the first handle portion, the spacer element (7) being secured to the end of the tang (4) remote from the knife blade and the transponder (6) being secured to the tang (4) via the spacer element (7). - Method according to claim 1,

a handle core is moulded on the tang and the transponder (6) is introduced into the handle core in order to provide the first handle portion, and the handle core being moulded around in order to complete the handle. - Method for producing a knife (1) having a handle (5), preferably of plastics material, into which a passive transponder (6) is introduced, the blade (3) of the knife (1) being secured to the handle (5) by a tang (4) being at least partially surrounded by the handle (5), characterised by the method steps of:- providing a first handle portion (7, 9),- fitting the transponder (6), preferably to the first handle portion (7, 9), spaced-apart from the tang (4) and- finishing the knife (1) by completing the handle (5) by fitting at least a second handle portion (8, 11), the transponder (6) being surrounded by the handle portions (7, 9, 8, 11),
the first handle portion (9) having the external shape of the handle (5) provided after the finishing operation being secured to the tang (4), in particular being moulded on as an injection-moulding component, a hole (10) being provided in the first handle portion (9) for the introduction of the transponder (6) and the transponder (6) being inserted into the hole (10) and the second handle portion (11) being in the form of a closure of the hole (10), the closure being formed by a cap or a screw type closure and being secured by welding or adhesive-bonding. - Method according to claim 5,
characterised in that
the hole (10) is drilled in the first handle portion (9), in particular after it has been moulded on the tang (4). - Method according to either claim 5 or claim 6,
characterised in that
an impression is formed on the closure (11) at the surface of the handle (5). - Knife (1) having a blade (3) and a handle (5), in particular of plastics material, preferably a boning knife, the blade (3) being secured to the handle (5) by a tang (4) being surrounded by the handle (5),
characterised in that
a passive transponder (6) is positioned inside the handle (5) spaced-apart from the tang (4),
the transponder (6) being moulded or injection-moulded in the handle (5) or being introduced into a hole (10) of the handle (5) that is provided with a welded or adhesively-bonded closure in the form of a cap or screw type closure.
