Abstract

A method for creating a selectively reinforced composite material (15, 25), comprising the steps of: a) providing a first portion (11, 21) of a first flexible material; b) positioning on said first portion (11, 21) a plurality of reinforcement members (12, 22) according to a preset pattern, each of said reinforcement members (12, 22) having a preferential direction of development; and c) fixing said reinforcement members (12, 22) to said first portion (11, 21).
