Description

The invention relates to a handling device for handling workpiece carriers and for use in cleaning baths according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such handling devices are well known and are regularly used in conjunction with workpiece carriers in the context of cleaning workpieces. The workpiece carriers are designed, for example, as washing baskets or perforated plates with workpiece holders and are equipped with workpieces outside a washing or cleaning device and subsequently inserted into handling devices or frame racks. The frame racks are subsequently immersed in baths with cleaning fluid for cleaning the workpieces, it being possible for a plurality of successive washing operations in different baths to be carried out as required. In order to avoid a carryover of cleaning liquid residues and contaminants dissolved therein from a cleaning bath to a subsequent one, it is known from the prior art to arrange workpiece carriers inclined in a rack, see above that liquid residues can flow away from the workpiece carriers or workpieces. In order to enable in particular a quick replacement of the workpiece carrier on the frame, the workpiece carriers are mounted in rails on the frame, so that replacement can be done by simply pushing or pulling out the workpiece carrier. The disadvantage, however, is that in the respective rail and in a gap between the workpiece carrier and rail remain a relatively large amount of liquid residues and can be dragged into a subsequent cleaning bath. This is favored in particular by the formation of capillary gaps between the workpiece carrier and the profile rail, since liquid residues accumulated therein are retained due to the specific adhesion force and can not flow.

Die Träger liegen mit einer den Aufnahmeschienen jeweils zugewandten Unterkante im Wesentlichen vollständig an den Schenkeln an.From the US 3,111,915 is a handling device for handling trained as a baking sheet carriers known. The handling device comprises a frame unit, on which opposite receiving rails for holding a carrier are arranged, such that outer connecting edges of the carrier can each be received between legs of a receiving rail. The receiving rails are L-shaped and thus each have a horizontal and a vertical leg. Further, the receiving rails are inclined at an angle to a horizontal plane of the frame unit. The carriers are substantially completely against the legs with a lower edge facing the receiving rails.

From the EP 1 483 984 A1 is a pull-out guide for drawers known. The pull-out guide is formed from two substantially continuous rails which can be displaced or pulled out relative to one another by means of rollers.

The present invention is therefore an object of the invention to propose a handling device, the carryover of Remains liquid residues as far as possible and yet ensures easy handling of workpiece carriers.

This object is achieved by a handling device having the features of claim 1.

The handling device according to the invention for handling workpiece carriers and for use in cleaning baths has a frame unit on which at least two mutually opposite receiving rails for positioning support of a workpiece carrier are arranged such that outer connecting edges of the workpiece carrier respectively between legs of a receiving rail are receivable, wherein the receiving rails are inclined according to a support plane formed by the workpiece carrier at an angle α to a horizontal plane of the frame unit, and wherein the legs have support elements, which serve to minimize a formed between leg and workpiece support surface. By means of the support elements, a relatively small contact surface can be formed, whereby the formation of a large-area capillary gap is avoided. Thus, liquid meniscus can be formed only between support element and workpiece carrier, wherein the amount of liquid retained by an adhesion force is substantially proportional to the peripheral surface of the support element. A workpiece carrier opposite surface of the leg of the receiving rail is so spaced by means of the support member from the workpiece carrier that no Kapillaraszension may occur, whereby a maximum flow of the liquid located between leg and workpiece carrier is ensured.

According to the invention, the receiving rails are each formed from two leg elements. So this can be made very easy. The leg members, in particular when they are made of metal, such as stainless steel, are simply welded together.

According to the invention, the legs of the receiving rail have recesses which form leg sections, wherein a recess is arranged opposite at least one leg section. A surface of the legs can thus be reduced, whereby less liquid residues can adhere to the leg. Further, a workpiece carrier can be particularly easily inserted into the receiving rail, for example, if an upper leg has one of the recesses at a front end of the receiving rail. The workpiece carrier can be placed on a lower leg of the receiving rail and then aligned prior to insertion into the receiving rail first. In addition, if the workpiece carrier has recesses on its outer connecting edges which substantially coincide in size and spacing with the leg sections of the upper leg, the workpiece carrier can simply be inserted and inserted into the recesses of the upper leg, so that an insertion path is considerably shortened.

It proves to be particularly advantageous if the support element is designed such that a point support surface can be formed between the support element and the workpiece support. The point bearing surface favors the formation of particularly small liquid menisci and thus a carryover of only minimal amounts of liquid. A holder of the workpiece carrier in a receiving rail can be realized with three support elements in the manner of a three-point bearing. Also, the formation of the support element in any suitable forms is possible, wherein the support element may be formed from a different material of a receiving rail material or used as a single element in this.

In one embodiment, the support element may be formed as a high embossing in the leg. An embossing is particularly easy to produce and avoids the use of additional components.

It proves to be particularly advantageous if the leg has passage openings. The passage openings may for example be formed as a bore, wherein an opening dimension or a diameter may be selected so that a Kapillaraszension, even between legs and workpiece carrier, is largely avoided.

If the legs of the receiving rail are arranged parallel to one another for the intermediate receptacle of the outer connecting edge of the workpiece carrier, the outer connecting edge of the workpiece carrier can be securely received between the legs, whereby unwanted falling out or slipping of the workpiece carrier is avoided.

If the edges of the receiving rail formed by legs have through openings, the formation of liquid menisci between thighs can be effectively avoided. The passage openings also ensure an advantageous drainage of a liquid.

If the receiving rail is formed from two leg elements, this can be produced particularly easily. The leg members, in particular when they are made of metal, such as stainless steel, are simply welded together.

In a further embodiment, the receiving rail may be integrally formed. Thus, the receiving rail is easy to produce without many components would have to be used.

It is also particularly advantageous if a stop is formed at one end of the receiving rail. The stop at a lower end of the receiving rail prevents slipping out of the tool carrier from the receiving rail and ensures accurate positioning of the tool carrier.

If the frame unit has handling elements for relative positioning of the frame unit, it can be transported particularly easily and positioned in cleaning baths. Such handling elements may be arranged at an upper end of the frame unit, such that the handling device is receivable by a transport device and transportable between cleaning baths, wherein the handling elements after settling the handling device in a cleaning bath position these relative to the cleaning bath, for example by resting on an upper edge a bath container, preventing complete immersion of the handling device.

In the following the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The receiving rails 12 and 13 are further arranged at an angle α relative to a horizontal plane of the frame unit 11 to the support frame 15 and 16, respectively. This ensures that liquid component residues located on workpiece carriers, workpieces and receiving rails 12, 13 run as far as possible completely.

Fig. 2 shows the opposing receiving rails 12, 13 in a perspective view. The receiving rails 12, 13 are each formed of two leg members 18, 19 and 18, 20, wherein the leg members 18 and 19 or 18 and 20 are welded together at certain points. At a respective lower end 21 of the leg members 19 and 20 of the receiving rails 12 and 13 designed as an angled flap 22 stopper is formed.

A synopsis of Fig. 3 to 6 shows the detailed structure of a receiving rail on the example of the receiving rail 12. The leg members 18 and 19 of the receiving rail 12 are each formed in the manner of an angle profile with legs 23 and 24 and 25 and 26 respectively. Bending edges 27 and 28 formed by the legs 23 and 24 and 25 and 26 are pierced by a plurality of rectangular through openings 29, the leg element 18 additionally having through openings 30. In particular, the passage openings 29 prevent the formation of liquid menisci between the legs 23 and 24 or 25 and 26 and 24 and 25. The leg 25 angled tab 22 is spaced from the leg 26, so that any liquid residues can flow. The leg 25 has along an upper edge 31 recesses 32, the leg portions 33 form. The leg portions 33 are respectively insertable into the through holes 30 of the leg member 18, so that the leg member 18 can be positioned in a predetermined position relative to the leg member 19. The legs 24 and 26 also each have recesses 34 and 35, the leg portions 36 and 37 form. A leg portion 36 is associated with a respective recess 34 or a leg portion 37 with a recess 35. The leg member 18 is projected on both sides in its overall length by one leg portion 36 of the leg member 19. The leg portions 36 and 37 each have a plurality of through holes 38, wherein the through holes 38 help prevent Kapillaraszension between the leg portions 36 and 37 and a workpiece carrier not shown here or ensure a necessary liquid flow. At the leg portions 36 and 37 each high embossments 39 and 40 are formed, the offset opposing studs 41 and 42, respectively, to form the intermediate recording of a workpiece carrier. The knobs 41 and 42 are arranged substantially in a cross-sectional plane with the through holes 38. If a workpiece carrier or its outer connecting edge, not shown here, is inserted into the receiving rail 12, the knobs 41 and 42 come to rest on opposite surfaces of the workpiece carrier, the workpiece carriers each being offset by the height h of the knobs 41 and 42 from the leg sections 36 and 37 is spaced apart. The formation of capillaries between surfaces is thus avoided.
