Abstract

Eine Vorrichtung zum Bestrahlen eines Substrats mittels UV-Strahlen, weist eine UV-Lampe (9) und einen zugeordneten Reflektor (24) auf, welche derart in einem Gehäuse (2) angeordnet sind, dass UV-Strahlen direkt oder indirekt auf einer Austrittsseite (10) aus dem Gehäuse (2) austreten. Eine Kühleinrichtung (17, 21, 23) zum Kühlen der UV-Lampe (9), insbesondere unter Verwendung zweier Kühlfluide ([1], [2], 23) ist ebenfalls vorgesehen. Das Gehäuse (2) weist wenigstens einen Einlass (22) für ein von einem Förderer (21) zwangsläufig zur Strömung angetriebenes Kühlgas und wenigstens einen Auslass (20) dafür auf, so dass Kühlgas durch das Gehäuse (2) hindurchleitbar ist. Diese Vorrichtung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass
a) der UV-Lampe (9) ein beweglicher Verschluss (12, 13) zugeordnet ist; dass
b) der Verschluss (12, 13) mit einem Antrieb (14-16) versehen und mit dessen Hilfe um die Längsachse der UV-Lampe (9) entlang einer Rotationsbahn drehbar ist, und dass
c) wenigstens ein Teil des Verschlusses (12, 13) mit Förderflügeln (17) für das Kühlgas versehen ist.

A cooling device (17, 21, 23) for cooling the UV lamp (9), in particular using two cooling fluids ([1], [2], 23) is also provided. The housing (2) has at least one inlet (22) for a cooling gas forced to flow by a conveyor (21) and at least one outlet (20) therefor, so that cooling gas can be passed through the housing (2). This device is characterized in that
a) the UV lamp (9) is associated with a movable closure (12, 13); that
b) the closure (12, 13) provided with a drive (14-16) and with the aid of which is rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the UV lamp (9) along a rotational path, and that
c) at least a part of the closure (12, 13) is provided with conveying wings (17) for the cooling gas.
