Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Abgasturbolader (2) für eine Brennkraftmaschine, mit einer Abgasturbine (1) und einem Verdichter, sowie mit einem stromaufwärts des Laufrades (4, 40) der Abgasturbine (1) im Gehäuse (3) axial verschiebbar angeordneten Sperrschieber (8) zur Steuerung des Durchflusses, wobei der Sperrschieber (8) Ausnehmungen (8a) für Leitschaufeln (7a) der Abgasturbine (1) aufweist, wobei zumindest eine Gruppe von Leitschaufeln (7a) in zumindest einer Sperrstellung des Sperrschiebers (8) abgedeckt ist. Um in jedem Motorbetriebsbereich einen optimalen Wirkungsgrad zu ermöglichen, ist vorgesehen, dass der Sperrschieber (8) zumindest einen Strömungskanal aufweist, dessen Querschnitt unabhängig von der Stellung des Sperrschiebers (8) eine Strömungsverbindung zwischen einer Eintrittsspirale (5) und dem Laufrad (4, 40) herstellt. In order to allow optimal efficiency in each engine operating range, it is provided that the locking slide (8) has at least one flow channel whose cross-section, regardless of the position of the locking slide (8), a flow connection between an inlet spiral (5) and the impeller (4, 40 ).
